Im actually waiting for that moment on where Elon would really be shilling out some coins on future months to come.

You mean Elon Musk converting into John McAfee, that shilled in his twitter every project that pays. I think that Elon will never become that person, as his brain is not damaged (perhaps yet) by drugs like Johns Smiley
Elon is simply different. Maybe this is due to having way more money then others. Or I would say that Elon Musk is more troll than a shiller.

John McAfee did more than this during the year 2017 bull run and we can see the end today. I think it will get to a point the USA will be after him for one reason or another. It is getting too messy and newbies are falling into the trap of influencers.

Again, another post comparing Elon Musk to John McAfee. There is no similarity between the two. McAfee knowingly promoted fake projects, in return of a monetary payment. On the other hand, Elon promoted one project (Bitcoin), which already had a market cap of close to $1 trillion, and he never profited out of this promotion. And in the case of Dogecoin, he never promoted it. Anyone who could understand the meaning of his tweets on Dogecoin would agree.

I don't really believe everything that is said by those who say themselves as observers, because if we still believe in that, it's useless to dwell on crypto but can't learn to analyze on our own. everything that is said by them can be used as a reference only but does not determine that we should believe other than if he did buy on a large scale for investment, then it is certain that there is an effect.

The spell with Elon's Tweets has somehow helped you, obviously this coin meme is pragmatically sucking the blood of investors and gradually taking over everyone's mind.  There is no right or wrong approach, it's important to look at the problem and analyze it properly.  Doge will not be the moon from now on!
To me, this Doge is creating hype in a tasteless way.  it is not my favorite food.  Lol

Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.

I'm too a close follower of Elon Musk and all of his projects. He have one of the most progressive vision and business strategy but many times he act just like a kid. Specially with his twitts. I'm glad he's into crypto and loves it but boasting his holding, talking about some specific coins and calling himself the kryptoking is not the best thing. Whether he's doing or his own profit or not, we might not know but manipulating the market would not only bring him trouble, it would make many other investors suffer.

It is sad to see how his tweets cause ups and downs in the crypto sphere. And if you go through the replies that follows it, you see newbies complaning about how they lost their money. He is bringing more people into crypto but not properly and with the wrong mentality. This is why some people call out on crypto as ponzi scheme. Very Sadly.
Sad indeed but people should understand that this is how most Business people do, Even though I believe that if Elon Musk truly have invested in Dogecoin, it most have been well long before now and all this constant tweets about Dogecoin making this ups and downs in the market is just a way of taking out profits IMO and the problem is many will get reckt in the process but what do they care as long as they make their profits.

The issue here is that these tweets and posts are unhealthy to the crypto sphere. Imagine the price going up/down just because of a tweet. This makes people trust Bitcoin less because the tweet can be against your will and so will the market go. Let these influencers just let the market follow it's own way; and not interfere/influence it.

I'm also finding it very annoying to see that cryptocurrencies can be manipulated this easy. After seeing such thing, one should be very careful when investing into it. Because there is a really high risk of losing even all of the invested money

I think influenced people need to stop doing something that can make people fall into this. they somehow impact some coin in the market and if they doing it wrong it makes people suffer big losses because many people now do investment not from the project being offered. but from the influencers they like.

i sincerely agree with this opinion. The appearance of elon musk in the space has caused loads of unbelievable activities. firstly, we have seen the likes of shitcoin making waves and people cahing out in the blink of an eye and then other projects have leveraged on the elon musk idea to create other shitcoins and its not a good one at all.

Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?

A lot of newbies falling into the trap unfortunately. BTC is strong and won't be affected too much but Dogecoin is just increasing its pump and dump reputation. Sad.

What you say only proved that his tweets has a huge impact on Bitcoin. You already showed two examples how few simple words influence on the whole market. I would add the case when he used a #bitcoin hashtag in his twitter profile and Bitcoin immediately gained few thousands. And this is just a tweet impression on the market. Imagine him making an article or talking on TV about Bitcoin. This could easily destroy Bitcoin or put it on the same level as top fiat currencies. But in this case worlds government will react immediately by banning or prohibiting holding it, to protect fiat from uncontrolled danger.
Seems that Elon Musk has enjoyed playing or shilling the crypto he wanted to promote and seems that he being a powerful man alive because of his wealth manage to make DOGE popular at the eye of the people and he also uses a #Bitcoin on his tweets too. But on the other side we have also witnessed how does it affected both in Bitcoin and Doge at the same time the effect were I guess went on the same result, but what more hesitant on his action was what his true intention was, because it seems that the crypto market was messing up.
Indeed, DOGE already reach the moon and I don't think we will see it at $1 anytime soon, so probably Elon is now thinking of a new coin to shill, probably a high supply coin that is still valued at a very low price now, that's what we should watch as bandwagon is real once he shill a new one.
Im actually waiting for that moment on where Elon would really be shilling out some coins on future months to come.We cant say that this is just purely for the sake of interest on a project
but also in that typical money making situation since he know that he can really make out significant impact to the entire market. Its not messing but rather he uses up his
reputation and popularity neither on a pure intent manner or the other way around. It is just for us to make out decisions to benefit out those movements
for our own.

Actually, a lot of people here in the forum see the tweets of Elon Musk as quite annoying in which many people find out that he is just controlling or manipulating the market in terms of the hype. Just like the hype that he makes on the meme coin which is the dogecoin really pumps up and it is because of the hype that Elon Musk brings. Another project that he hype was the Elongate in which many people invest here because they thought that Elon Musk will eventually invest also here. People are very easy to deceive and we must be careful about those kinds of deceiving actions.

With DOGE being down by 30% in 24 hours, I think people soon will start to panic, and DOGE will dump more, lucky are those who were able to sold at a good price so they can already enjoy a profit and transfer that investment to other altcoins with real potential, hype is on, once its over, panic will start.
sometimes people too trust the doge pump flash. I am surprised by people who trust the pump so fast and they get stuck in a high buy position. they end up not getting what they want and are stuck at the dump and suffer heavy losses
Humans are like that and it might also not be trust as you imagine but a bid to make quick profits out of the new wave in the market. Some Investors are fans of some particular coins/token but others will want to make a quick profits from anyone that gains some traction in the market and some will get stock in the process because because they were mostly just reacting to the news without knowing the project.

YES. That's very annoying. At first, I thought that he was a huge Bitcoin supporter, but then he started with all these inconsistent posts and bs, like that investing in Bitcoin wasn't his idea in the first place, he's only an engineer and has nothing to do with the investment team, and then with Doge. I used to believe him, but now I'm starting to see how he tries to manipulate things, and that's disappointing  Cry

But why is it annoying? Everyone seemed to be pretty chuffed when he hyped it up, and then got mad when he said it was overpriced, and then etc etc. It's social media, it's Twitter. McAfee had his day, Musk is having many days, we all know it's just nonsensical rubbish right?

If we don't, we probably deserve to get ruined. At least it'll be an expensive lesson we won't soon forget, right?

Don't be disappointed in him, just wise up and see the world for what it is.

but i did make profits on investing in Doge..

Good for you.  Smiley

Seems like many Bitcoiners are just jealous, that Doge is currently a better investment.

Doge can go to $10 and bitcoin can reach $1 million, everyone should just accept it and enjoy success for both coins.

you misunderstand, this is not jealousy...
Bitcoin or Doge are equally profitable, it's just that what the OP means is why coins that were originally just jokes are so valuable nowadays just because of Elon musk's tweets. The thing that is feared is that in the future Elon will mess up again and make coins that previously had no price become very valuable.

You are forgetting the fact that his tweets only had a limited impact on Bitcoin. When he tweeted that Bitcoin looks overpriced, the price went down for a short while, but it recovered very soon. On the other hand, the bull run was triggered by real market incidents, such as adoption of cryptocurrency by PayPal and the purchase of BTC by Tesla. We don't need to give too much importance to the tweets by Elon Musk on Bitcoin prices, because in reality they didn't had much of an impact. That said, his tweets succeeded in pumping some of the shitcoins, such as Doge.

Read about John McAffee and how he tried to manipulate the Verge market, interesting reading and a lot of things to learn from.
