Elon Musk's actions do not irritate me at all. He does not force anyone to buy cryptocurrency. He does not even directly advertise it, as many do. Yes, just mentioning a certain cryptocurrency to them causes a significant demand among people for it. Apparently he is very amused by this. In general, it stimulates this market to grow. People themselves should think about what they are doing and be responsible for their actions.

McAfee's brain was not damaged. He promoted all those scams, because he earned big $$$ from them. Once he stated that he charges $105,000 for a single tweet to promote a cryptocurrency project. Now this is something that intelligent criminals would do. You don't expect that from a brain damaged person. The estimate by SEC is that McAfee made $23 million in total, but I think that the real amount may be much higher.

Again, another post comparing Elon Musk to John McAfee. There is no similarity between the two. McAfee knowingly promoted fake projects, in return of a monetary payment. On the other hand, Elon promoted one project (Bitcoin), which already had a market cap of close to $1 trillion, and he never profited out of this promotion. And in the case of Dogecoin, he never promoted it. Anyone who could understand the meaning of his tweets on Dogecoin would agree.

Personally it does not annoy me too much. Of course where the money lots of people who would like to raise personal assets or funds always will be. He is the one of such kind. The other thing how people are ready and do it - filter the information and other things. So for such things in order to help people to sort the information this forum is. It will really help for those who is ready to check and learn information in deep. For others who do not want to do this nobody will prevent from mistakes.
