I think more and more people will be aware of cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin in 2018 so by the year end it is reasonable to estimate the value would be more than $40,000.
Bitcoin is not possible $ 40,000 or more is possible until the end of 2018.
That doesn’t matter actually for the people either the price at the end of this year is $30k or $40k. The thing is last year, at the middle weeks of December, bitcoins were superficially increased within no days. And now see it they are just going up and down in these figures of $15k and $16k. So just pray bitcoins just get out of this problem and go higher with its own speed. 
Actually I dont believe that Bitcoin will hit this level by the end of 2018. I think that the constant rise cant be going on for much longer. There sure must come another bear market before Bitcoin will soar again. I expect Bitcoin to grow again big time in about two years. Maybe by then 40k is a low target.
The biggest concern with bitcoin is that you can't really use it for anything except for saving your money in an exchange. Transfer fees are absurd currently and same is for the transfer speed.
A little lower, I read the topic of what people think about bitcoin for $ 20,000, after which time it will reach these heights again. But it became interesting, is there anyone here who believes that bitcoin by the end of 2018 will be $ 40000 or more?
The growth of bitcoin each year is exponential. And if you don't want to believe that it can move up to $40,000 and you are skeptic about it then just leave it. For me, $20,000 or $40,000 whatever the price will bitcoin ending up, it doesn't matter to me as long as it's moving upward that would suffice.
Some people are forecasting bitcoin for 100k this year, but i feel this year is for etherium.

End of 2018 woud lead us to huge price rise of Bitcoin, maybe $50,000 or $60,000 would be the price, i expect at least $35,000, it depends how will BTC transactions evolve in trying to be less expensive and faster.
In my opinion if the btc won`t face anything huge like a ban from several countries or any other big issue 40.000$ won`t be hard to reach in 2018 but the governments will have a huge impact to it.
I believe so.I think with the current price of bitcoin today,reaching $40k before this year ends is very possible.Banning bitcoin may be a serious issue but i believe bitcoin this year will be more popular to other countries and will open lot of opportunities so instead of banning,they will learn to make use of bitcoin and have them as their investments.And yes hardforks are always present,making the system of bitcoin improved and making it more reliable.For bitcoin $40.000 is a fair approximation under the current market conditions of crypto. For ether $5.000 would also be a fair approximation to see in 2018 and in 2019 everything will change I believe.

It's possible that bitcoin will reach it's price into $40,000 by the end of 2018 if bitcoin continues pumping every day the value even though it hits this year the bitcoin fork but doesn't matter. Even though it continuesly increases the population of bitcoiners and the investors continuesly investing bitcoin everyday.
The expectations for the Bitcoin price increase this year are very good. I believe that $ 40,000 will can be achieved well before the end of the year, more precisely, I believe that in the middle of the year this value will be reached. This is only a personal wish, I have no evidence to justify this prediction.

The price of the bitcoin as of now is $15,000 and for shre it will increase again because last few hours ago the price decrease but it will increase again and that's good to us. I think possible the price become $20,000 again in this month so if you want to buy you cn buy more bitcoin and hold it to make a lot of profit. More bitcoin more money to come so dont sell your bitcoin. For me $40,000 that's also I think because I see the potential to increase more the price of the bitcoin. All we need is unity to see the price become that price. Better if you keep buying bitcoin and keep holding because everyone will benefits to this. can be crazy 40K is not a little money Such things can happen and already we know with bitcoin prices every year go up, well in 2017 the price grows rapidly and reaches a fantastic figure 20K.Could have happened in my opinion but in figures now I'm very grateful.
How much segwit is supposed to accelerate transfers/sec? And how much does lightning network add? I think bitcoin is in very bad spot currently. Competition has surpassed bitcoin with their easy usage and reasonable transfer time/cost. I think bitcoin might start to decline compared to alternative coins, if these implementations wont deliver enough. These things must be delivered in a quite rapid schedule or companies will start to stop using bitcoins. Anyway this will be a very interesting year.
