I think it can hit that. A ton of stars need to align for it to happen, but its not as far off as people suspect.

Someone tracked the $1000 movements of BTC. And some of the jumps occurred within a few hours. So BTC has all the potential in the world to hit 40K.

It will happen, yeah it will happen. I don't know bitcoin is very kind to us. Every time we guess the price of bitcoin in the future it will surely happen. Who know it's just coincidence or maybe bitcoin price is worth to getting it. But for this time I have a reason if bitcoin price will reach $40000 because i hear some issue bitcoin will launch a lighting network that serves to speed up a transaction. What we know the weakness of bitcoin is the slowness to complete a transaction, which is only able to complete 7 transactions in 1 second.

well my preditcion bitcoin will touch $50000 before end of 2018. why i say that because all people will invest bitcoin. and tether will release euroT so this company (many people claim this tether was scam and fraud) will pump bitcoin and altcoin.

Yes, it's not impossible, looking back at the humble beginning of the Bitcoin and how it grows in a fast-pacing scheme will make this prediction true, we could not tell the exact price when that time arrives but it would surely touch that price.

I also agree, though the future is still unclear, but I am sure that bitcoin will reach the nominal price. the cryptocurrency is surprising and difficult in prediction so all still can happen.

I think that BTC price will be up to 30k $ per 1 BTC. Of course, in case of total criptocurrency capitalization with 1500 billions $ and more it could be up to 40 k $.

Well there is nothing wrong with hope. If we will just continue to support bitcoin and ignore fake news that is trying to destroy its strong reputation. Bitcoin has the potential to grow even more with our support despite of all the false facts being presented by many people trying to convince bitcoin users that " Bitcoin is a bubble".

I am gonna say yes it will hit 40k but I am not terribly bullish about where it will land above that nor does it matter to me at the moment. I think bitcoin will do what it will in due time, and there is no need to rush it.

Is it impossible for Bitcoin? No it is not. If the LN comes this year then the price will reach the 40k without any problem, otherwise I think the price will be around 30k$
