The solution for high fees: We decided to share the fees by the campaign members. Here is how it works.


If I had to plan to pay bi-weekly or four weeks interval then I have to hold a lot of BTC. Currently in total I hold over 1 BTC in my 2 of 2 multi-sig wallet. For a four weeks interval payment my wallet will have over 5 BTC before I complete a whole cycle of payment for each interval.

My wallet is very secure (one needs to access two device to move any fund) but still I do not feel comfortable to hold such amounts in the escrow wallet. So I decided to clear every week's payment as quick as possible. So that I do not feel the burden.

As a solution, taking a very small amount of BTC from every output address make much sense. The amount is so small for individuals that one can easily ignore. I hope that explains why we decided to share the fees. Many members suggested the same, thanks to all.

The cost for this new transaction was 0.00059976 BTC which was equally deducted from all the output addresses, percentage wise. The deduction has been reflected in W45 payment.

I personally don't mind waiting as I usually don't use my sig campaign earnings but there might be people who actually depend on that money so I would also be up to @mikeywith proposal to share the cost of transactions between us and the mixer.

I don't usually visit this thread, however I saw the pending payment in my wallet.

I don't mind a monthly payment schedule , personally. It's not like I even come close to the max weekly amounts, not enough time!

I agree with ronsbit, 1 month is just way too long and many unexpected things can happen.

id suggest these two alternatives in preference order
1) every member pays 1-2$ towards total tx fees
2) payment every 2 weeks

Opening a poll is a good idea to see how the involved partoes stand.

@Royse777 It's been a long time since campaign signatures were designed, so if you have some time it might be a good idea to get new ones.
