Thanks to you, Gazeta, and Rick.

May this small aid help you well, dear yahoo62278! May you be well! And may everybody's prayers for you be listened thus your health situation will be better and better!

Does a physical Ron Coin/round exist? I'd be interested if one exist.

Sadly, no. There is no physical RON Coin. However, there is a RON Coin (RONC) which can be bought from BitcoinRomania and it's a stable coin, having a 1:1 value with Romanian national currency (RON). Official website of developers is https://roncoin.to/en and it allows you to create a wallet without making an account. However, you'll have to pass through KYC in order to make an account to BitcoinRomania and buy it from there. OTherwise, if you know anybody holding RONC, you can transact with that person using your KYC-less wallet. However, I believe you are interested in a physical item, for your collection.

I would be interested in purchasing one of these cards - not for redemption - but just to add to my collection - I am guessing it has to be someone local there? would someone be willing to purchase one for me and send it to me? I will of course pay in BTC

MoparMiningLLC, this is your lucky day Smiley This is because I have a few more such cards and, if you want, we can further discuss this through PM. I was (am) also willing to launch a free raffle at some point in time, with the prize being a card like this.

@RickDeckard: Thanks for setting this up (it was a very kind thing to do), and for offering the prize! I participated only to share some sats, so it won't be necessary to ship anything. I'm too much of a privacy nut to give out a shipping address anyway. Cheesy

Thanks also to @GazetaBitcoin and @1miau for being willing to handle shipping.

Maybe the card should go to the runner-up?
There's nothing wrong being a privacy nut, I'm also one of them! With that in mind I suppose that the highest bid is the one from ChiBitCTy[1] at .0018 BTC, congratulations!
@ChiBitCTy: Could you please get in contact with GazetaBitcoin so that he knows where to send the card?

Funds confirmed, I would say congrats on winning but you are passing the prize to the runner up. I like seeing the generosity to myself and others in the community. Very classy man.

Thanks to you, Gazeta, and Rick.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Smiley

Paid (0b9125486a6a091ec6774100915ec0a043028dfa1b77a066217f127704137bc4).

@yahoo62278: I know it's not much money (all things considered), but I hope it helps a little bit, and I hope that you're on the mend, with the worst behind you.
Congratulations @PowerGlove! I had no idea that this charity auction could reach the value that it did, so I'm glad that we were able to gather this amount to help yahoo expenses(and I'm sure he would appreciate any amount, as he has done in the past.).

Could you please send a message to @GazetaBitcoin with your details so that he can take care of shipping the item to you? One last request: When you receive the item could you please confirm that you've received it in this thread so that I can officially close this auction?

Thank you also RickDeckard for your generosity in offering your prize -- the card -- as a prize for this humanitarian auction. You have all my respect for all you do inside the forum!
Guess we replied almost at the same time... Thank you for the words and for being the official escrow of this auction Smiley

Hooray!

Congrats, PowerGlove and my sincere appreciations for your high bid and also for your proposal of making the prize even greater! Nobody made a greater bid, yet yours is by far greater than any expectiations I, personally, had (probably RickDeckard too). And I am sure that yahoo62238 will find good use for this help.

That being said, PowerGlove please contact me by PM and let me know where to ship your card Smiley

Thank you for your offer! Sadly the highest bid at the moment sits at 6mBTC so if you're interested in bidding, you'll need to make an increment of 0.1 mBTC considering PowerGlove bid...

BUMP: Almost 4(ish) more days to go! Will we find a user that will propose a higher bid than the one provided by PowerGlove (and his generous offer) ?  Smiley

I think a good way to encourage bigger bids (and therefore, help yahoo) is for me to spend a little more than I wanted to, and make the following offer: I'll match the winning bid (unless it's my own) up to the value of 8 mBTC (e.g. if the winning bid is 6.1 mBTC, then I'll send yahoo an additional 6.1 mBTC).
Hopefully, giving other people double the spending power will attract some generous types. Cheesy
Woah, this is reaching heights that I wasn't expecting to ! Thank you so much for the matching donation @PowerGlove! I'll update the thread accordingly! Really looking forward to see what happens next!
P.S. Just a reminder to update the OP with a settlement address before the auction closes (yahoo's address is no longer in the referenced topic).
I've reached out to yahoo to ask for this. I'll update with the information I'll receive from him. Thank you for the feedback! EDIT: yahoo has replied to my PM and I've posted the address in the OP.

We are not shipping an Elephant.  Cheesy Cheesy

Yes.

Please, don't do that, unless you know that the recipient has enough space to hold such elephant, and proper facilities to care for it too..   Tongue

Currently not much available - see my websitelink
However, from what I understand from 1miau, I believe he saw my earlier post when I said I will pay the shipping and he made only a complementary addition when he said that he is willing to pay the shipping if the winner is from outside Europe.
You are right, I will pay shipping fees if someone wins our action who's from a country which is a non-EU country (like USA / Canada / United Kingdom / Nigeria / Japan....whatever country Bitcointalk members are from).
United Kingdom would be likely a bit more as well since UK has left EU but I'm sure we'll find a solution and as original giveaway owner, I will pay shipping fees for winners of non-EU countries.

I don't know your final shipping costs but I believe it's not too much and won't make me bankrupt.  Cheesy
It's just a small card, so shouldn't be much of an issue.  Smiley

you give the money to whoever you want, it's your entire responsibility. And the participants in this auction only participate because they want to. Know the prize they will receive and where the money will go - trusting you.

And, as a small addition, participants also trust yahoo62278, and this is the main reason for which they participate at this auction. After all, I am sure that the card itself is not really something extraordinary, excepting the fact that you can redeem 20 euros with it -- which, anyway, is not something extraordinary at all. Unless he is a collectible fanatic, I believe that any participant is only trying to help yahoo62278 -- and this is something touching.

I'll spare what I can and raise the bid to 6 mBTC. Hope things get better for you!

PowerGlove, that's really something, man! God bless you!

I would like to expose my arguments in the discussion in the right thread[2] latter in the day.

As you probably saw yourself by now, topic is locked, but this is not a loss anyway. Excepting that, I was wondering if you think it's a good idea to post in OP (at its bottom, eventually) the bids made so far, thus they are visible for anybody else interested? This topic tends to contain also posts different from just bidding and it may be easier to see what last bid is.

I am also curious to see if someone else will bid more than PowerGlove. And I really hope so, for yahoo2278's sake... Cheesy

Later edit: I just observed that:

Regarding shipping fees if a non EU citizen wins: as organizer from our giveaway, I would pay shipping fees!
Thank you for the donation and thank you so much for the offer regarding shipping fees outside EU! Just a clarification: Is it regarding customs outside EU or actually shipping fees? I also offered myself to pay for shipping fees that @GazetaBitcoin will incur, but he offered a counter deal that I couldn't agree and he ended up supporting them as well... Am I right @GazetaBitcoin?  Cheesy

I confirm, I told RickDeckard that I'll pay for the shipping, he insisted he'll do it; then I said it'll probably cost me ~5$ to do it, but if I let him do it I will charge him with 1000$, as I can't charge myself, lol. Having these two options in balance, he agreed with my proposal =)))

However, from what I understand from 1miau, I believe he saw my earlier post when I said I will pay the shipping and he made only a complementary addition when he said that he is willing to pay the shipping if the winner is from outside Europe.

**In BTC since 2013**
If the campaign than I'm donating to ends up being a scam then I'm the only responsible to have being tricked into taking part in it and I should learn from my mistakes. I'm not saying that it's a scam (else I wouldn't feel compelled to donate to it) and I have my reasons to support it, but I would like to expose my arguments in the discussion in the right thread[2] latter in the day.

I think you will no longer be able to make explanations in this mentioned topic[2], since it has already been closed.  Roll Eyes

But you don't have to give any explanation. As I said and very well, you give the money to whoever you want, it's your entire responsibility. And the participants in this auction only participate because they want to. Know the prize they will receive and where the money will go - trusting you.

Everyone is responsible for their actions, and that's why we don't have to judge them just because we don't agree.

You guys might consider cancelling this auction. I was sent a pm by a mod asking me to remove my donation addresses, I assume asking is against the rules and I do not want anyone getting into trouble for me.

The gesture was very kind and i'm sorry if anyone catches any shit over this. I don't think you will FYI.
I haven't received a message to stop this charity auction from any mod (at least so far). I may be wrong on the reasons but I think that this is probably due to the fact that this is, as theymos has pointed out and other established users, because the forum is meant to be as free as possible[1]. In this particular case I am free to choose if I end up donating my prize to whenever cause that I see fit, independent of the causes behind it.

Anyway, I'm guessing you have one monstrous bill heading your way, so I'll spare what I can and raise the bid to 6 mBTC. Hope things get better for you!
Woah, that's an incredible massive bump to the auction PowerGlove, thank you so much!
