dogs are cute.
I would like to update my address to a SegWit one to keep with the spirit of the campaign. My new address is bc1qszrhw5hn26py4a9glqy3hdv53r0xnze2pd5nqk. I do not find signing a message with my old address to be necessary, but I'll do so if requested.

Anyone know how to create a segwit address with the Ledger wallet? Thanks.

Just select "Segwit" as address type instead of "Legacy" when you enter your Ledger wallet.

Where is this option? On start up of the wallet? I see no option other than to choose bitcoin cash or not.
There are two options, bitcoin and bitcoin cash, you select bitcoin. Furthermore, you get two more options of Legacy and SegWit address. If you had checked the little checkbox that says "remember my choice", then you probably won't get such options anymore. But you can try clicking the new account button in your main panel, it should probably ask for segwit or legacy, I personally haven't tried that yet.

Ivory tower and Serious Discussion boards are boards where the spam content is almost zero, but not counting posts in such discussions may curb down real, good discussions. Is it a good idea? It has been introduced quite recently only,so...

I think you're missing the entire point of both those new boards and signature campaigns. Signature campaigns aren't meant to influence posts in there so only people who are not financially motivated or care about discussion regardless of payment will post in them and campaigns aren't going to pay for posts in there because there's zero benefit to them as an advertiser. I think the boards are a good experiment but people really shouldn't be getting paid to post in them.

is anybody of you using ChipMixer tumbler? I mean I did participate on the BitMixer.io campaign and was also using it for myself. Because I trusted BitMixer.io. Any experience with ChipMixer so far out there?

I have been in BitMixer too, and at the same time was using it as my sole mixer, and the same applies to ChipMixer in current times. The thing I highly like about ChipMixer is that you are able to obtain pre generated chips with each a different value level. Due to the fact that every chip you withdraw has its own private key, you can choose for yourself when and if you're going to move the funds. It also means that you have full control over the involved network fees at that moment. My favorite mixing task is depositing 0.3 BTC (could be any relatively larger amount), where I then split that initial deposit into various smaller chips, which greatly enhances my overall privacy.

I tested them just to check they were alright in one of my first weeks in the campaign.
They are a little odd but the site is quite nice and the system is.
A few pointers:
1. It breaks down your chips into (0.001*)2n.
So I deposited 0.051, and it broke it into 0.032, 0.016, 0.002 and 0.001.
word of warning don't send chips that can be broken down to 0.002 or below as you can't spend them (not sure about 0.004 though). I think this will be fixed if they start to encorporate segwit.

2. The 0.003 I couldn't spend, got recycled into a voucher that you could then use. So it's like how you can store BTC on bitblender as a wallet until you have enough to spend. You can input voucher codes on the site much like you send funds to them.

The best way to work it out though is to try it for youself - my original test was with a mere 0.004BTC.

Looks like it's easier to hit a SHA256 collision than getting on this campaign, but I will still try Tongue

If you don't follow rules/requirements, don't expect to be accepted.

Payments for this week have been sent. You can view the payment transaction here.

Sir, what is the reason for the open slot?
Take a look at the google spreadsheet, it looks like the user "GreenBits" has been kicked for inactivity ( since he only made 1 post.)

That leaves me wondering if there's actually a minimum amount of posts you should make each week, (which is refuted in the OP actually.)or if this guy was inactive for longer then just this week.

According to the spreadsheet: Last 4 weeks - 1,0,0,1 which is pretty inactive.

This.

ChipMixer solely pays for exposure, and in the stated sections of the forum they don't get that due to disabled signatures, so it makes sense that they don't pay for posts that don't give them that exposure. You can participate as much as you want in said sections, it just won't get paid.
Right... I almost forgot about that. Thanks!

Do you even know what a segwit address/segwit is?
For obvious reasons, posts in Ivory Tower and Serious discussion don't count as well.
