I don't know if its distracting DS or not but one of the mods seems to think its okay to selectively delete posts. Or they have probably taken it upon themselves to ensure that the thread remains "clean". Maybe in reverence to ChipMixer themselves. I just casually replied to this hilarious post of yours about how the "CM Mafia wars" were missing this time..LOL..just for fun. This was the reply.

And some @$%$## mod deleted it. There were contemporary posts of the same nature which were apparently "on topic". I think deleting that post was a bit of an ass move on your part Mr. moderator (whoever of you did it.. :X). I mean the regulators are already fucking with everyone. Then there are rug-pulls, scams and money grabs going on. To top it all, are we now supposed to fucking think twice before writing something on the ChipMixer thread??!! Like not be bad employess lest I don't pass the HR round?? I think everyone, (including the bloody mod that deleted my post) needs to lighten up a bit and accept that some of us will never be accepted here because of the sheer number of people who have way more time to spend on the forum and are way more knowledgeable and engaged in the forum to actually justify the money ChipMixer spends on them.

I mean I KNOW that i won't be accepted here but i still just apply because c'mon, isn't it one of those tradition things now?? DS opens the applications and IT IS OUR BLOODY JOB to fucking flood it. At least we know that DS will have a shitload of work. Even then, he manages to pick out a gem EVERY single time and I can actually go back to thinking "ok fuck, there are all these talented people here..I have so much to learn in life coz i still ain't good enough to  even fucking succeed on an online forum". It is also just a re-affirmation that this forum is still filled with great people from whom i can learn a lot (just by reading their posts or just seeing them handle the occasional shitstorms or even create the shitstorms). A lot of them are not in the CM campaign but there are people here (on both sides) who have successfully handled damaged reputations, constant troll attacks and still maintain their cool while continuing to debate like its the fucking House of commons.

Not being selected here is a re-affirmation that this forum still has people who will maybe contribute to the well-being of bitcoin because I, for the life of me, am not able to bloody get one thing done right. I don't even mind it anymore to not get selected. IT IS JUST GOOD FUN to know that there is a CM campaign and DS will occasionally open it and we'll have all these stupid debates about nationalities and mafia and good posters vs bad posters. Then this bloody mod comes walking pompously and deletes my post. FCUK YOU! Don't fuck with the forum goddamnit. Let some things not change. Don't make it all bloody regimental and formal like its a bloody HR process.

I don't want to apply like this is a job. (While i am ranting, can all of you South-East Asian brothers fucking stop using the words "EMPLOYEE, EMPLOYER & EMPLOYED" while reprimanding each other about signature campaigns or while thanking your manager for "employing" you?? Its not cool.) I just want to know that there are good, intelligent people involved in bitcoin who care for more than just about money. There is just not enough focus on bitcoin these days. I worry about how long the forum will last. I dread the day that good campaigns like CM or Roobet will stop. People have done a good thing here letting others make some money. I worry that more slick marketers will takeover and this forum will be forgotten. Fuck i think so much about this forum and this mod struts along and just deletes my post!! It riled me up a bit so i ranted. If you found some of your thoughts reflected in this then just reply or send me a PM hug. If by any stretch of imagination, you want to give merit, give it to someone else. Its already so fucking dreary to see people behaving like bitches trying to one-up each other. Might be a touch of “virtue signaling” going on as far as posters needlessly posting complaints of other posters posting as if their were some problem creating a need to protect the OP..

I think CM thread already seen the best of the best participants ever applied. I think it's best for all as well as for DS to close the thread meanwhile undergo selection of its employee/s.

Any advertisement is great, but you need to soberly assess your abilities. The main thing in life is, to be honest with yourself. I bet some are confident of losing. If the chances are zero, why climb into this fire? Unless only assume that the manager will choose by the number of letters in the nickname, or play counting-rhyme. Better to stay on the sidelines and calmly watch such a circus than to participate in it.

Although everyone who is bored can place bets.

Honestly guys your shit posting here is not needed on this thread, basically the manager is seeking for participants that will fit on his criteria to help chipmixer on his advertising campaign on this forum.

So stop ranting and give any side comments regarding on your application or to anyone since it will never give you any higher chances to be chosen.

I suggest to give lower chances to those people who continuously spamming here since if they want a proper discussion regarding on this camp they can create a thread on reputation board and post their opinion about their issues and other personal opinion.

Right now CM pays more than what people make in their own countries probably. (sometimes it is a lot more)

If you can ignore this quietly, that's very cool of you. I do it too but not everybody can resist it. Some people just want to create noise to make themselves visible.

Their possible strategy is, "Any publicity is good publicity."

It's not that I'm siding with your opinion or to anybody but my point here is everytime this Campaign opens there are critics/issues, we could have leave them be if they fail to comply with basic rules. As well as the users with negatives, let them be IMO. it's just an application, although I do get the point that it will only add to the screening process of the manager which I also find it annoying.

But the fact that we've been through this for the entire time, I think we should just ignore them. I do hope in the next opportunity, we'll get a quiet one (No Issues, No Critics)

Based on the amount of work all this implies for you, I do hope you'll actually fill all the slots. But I've got the feeling in the last round that this is extremely difficult to achieve.

I don't know why there are so many bitter and discriminators here in this campaign, they are not even the campaign manager. I mean yes, I know that participants in this campaign are god tiers when it comes to posting but I don't see that as a reason to badmouth anyone who are applying on this campaign trying his luck if he's going to be accepted thinking that he improved himself that he might be a qualified to be accepted here.

Sometimes I think too much intelligent and merits makes a person dumb and too boastful in a way that he only see himself as the best (even if not)

The person who decided to leave me negative trust has refused to discuss or defend his rating despite public opinions of multiple prominent forum members saying they believe it is inappropriate. I have reviewed this history of, and threads about the person who left me negative trust, and I believe this person gets off on people being afraid of him, and of people begging him for mercy. I refuse to do either. I don't hold any animus towards this person, I honestly feel bad for this person.

As for the merit of my application (no pun intended), my history speaks for itself. I have a long history of helping other forum members in various ways, including helping them secure their money (securing money they are holding for others, including the OP), understand bitcoin, develop applications that handle/interact with bitcoin, and providing my technical expertise. My history speaks for itself. There is a reason why I have receive so much merit from such a diverse group of people, and this is not because I post popular opinions, it is because I post useful insight and helpful content that is widely read.

I try to avoid forum politics, don't trade in the forum, and for the most part do not partipiate in the trust system. I contribute more than many people in the forum that has higher trust ratings than I do, and if I did any of the above, I would probably have similar trust ratings, but I am not here to try to get a really good trust rating, I am here to talk about bitcoin (and politics).

I am not going to accuse DS of being racist or a misogynist if he doesn't select me. I will however say that anyone who says I am not qualified, or that I would not be an effective advertiser for any company that you are wrong.

Honestly... Merit is probably the most useless metric of how to judge a users "quality".

I see all these "self-made legendary" bragging posts on some of the boards such merit, much "quality", very wow Especially when you see some of the things people getting merit for... endless pages of "stats" posts? Yep, "quality" stuff right there... people dropping "20" merits on an [ANN] thread for a popular project? obviously 11/10 "quality"... pretty much anything in Reputation and/or Meta

I understand why merit was implemented, but unfortunately I don't think it has really been successful with regards to it's desired outcomes.

Why is it everytime CM opens, there's always an issue going on. Can't we just apply quietly and let the Manager do his thing?  I'm pretty sure there would be no changes on how he does things.
A competitive competition is what I see here, no need for ButtHurts IMO.
