I'm sorry - why the hell am I on this list

What? No. Everything is better with some chips mixed in. Pancakes for example. Cookies. Fish in some weird countries. Even salsa is tolerable with chips. When I see a Chipmixer signature I skip that post without even reading it because I already know it's SO MUCH BETTER than anything else.

The problem with this approach is that he won't be able to balance the appearance of the signature across all the different boards he wishes to target, by observing how DS chooses the campaign candidates you can tell that he usually looks for the best canditiate/s within certain boards and not just the best overall, or else he would simply count on the number of earned merit, but that isn't the case.

This approach is very tiring for any campaign manager, but it ensures the best results for the project.

Also for those who don't get accepted, it doesn't always mean the accepted members are better than you overall, they are likely just more fit for that "specific" task.

I just tried to parse this using a certain program and manually checked the validity if the user really did joined or not. Again, Goodluck to us, participants! 

I'll consider ChipMixer and let you know whether I would accept to advertise them. Thanks OP for your excellent work here.

DS, if it helps: if you get me a list of competing userIDs, I'll get you a convenient list of their posts as if they were in this campaign in the past week.

Not to mention that he has to go through all the off-topic posts here including this one to tabulate the applicants. Neh.. DS himself is the don Illuminati in control of DT (via the mafia) and I doubt he would wanna give up all that powa..

If you look at the bigger picture though, DS is just the talking head puppet on strings controlled by the Lizard “people” that coded ChipMixer in the first place.. I’m not sure if the Lizards would be happy about their own minions choosing their own minions.. May give up too much control..

DarkStar_'s been doing this for years and (I hope) gets paid handsomely for this... I'm sure he can handle it and honestly it's none of anyone's business how he does it. Despite some obvious nonsense the candidate pool is generally quite solid so even if he pulls them out of a hat it's going to be fine.

OTOH eddie13's plan sounds solid too. Clearly based on experience and you can't go wrong with that.

Nah, I think this would just lead to more complaints to be honest. People already complain and make conspiracies up about DT and their Chipmixer buddies and people are more likely to vote for the friends or people they like. If Darkstar is struggling to pick some I would just create a shortlist of the best users and maybe do a draw/raffle for them then at least it's random and nobody can complain.

If he cannot decide by himself the easy way to do this without bearing the responsibility of the choice is to make a list of candidates he would approve and then ask the participants in the CM campaign to vote for 4 ( or depending of the slots) candidates, the ones that gather the most votes enter the campaign.
It won't be easy to manipulate the vote, and there will be no personal drama anymore.

Suggestion for theymos DarkStar_: A passing score of a litmus test in general forum and cryptocurrency knowledge must be achieved and submitted along with your application..
Also, I find that extensive questioning in applications, including such things as requiring 10 years of accurate and verifiable job history with references, many forms including consent to background check, etc.., are good way to weed out all but the most serious of potential candidates..
The longer the app, the less idiots will complete it.. (Attention span required)

Could also require employment offers to be accepted by corporate (drag it out) before starting the lengthy background check and physical fitness test process, prior to atleast a week long orientation period (aptitude to obtain required certifications)..
Must be a delay of 2-5 weeks before employment..
If you need to start the job fast, their may be reason to question your personal stability...

Candidates must also make it through an initial interview with a flighty HR chick while successfully dodging her flirtatious advances (resists the temptation of immediate gratification) before 2 subsequent interviews surviving much time with the regional hiring manager stiff in a suit..

If they make it through all that, then ya probably have keepers..
