safar1980, I do not doubt that there are members who definitely stands out from the average forum members, but only 4 of them satisfy one of the criteria of this campaign, rank of Senior Member and above. Unless the rules change, any lower rank cannot be accepted regardless of the quality of posts and merits they get.

I've got a question though: is it a problem if, until the manager decides whether I'll be allowed to take a place or not, I will be part of another campaign? I am kinda concerned this might tear my chances apart.

I am sure that DarkStar_ knows that this is the best signature campaign right now on bitcointalk, so there should be not much of a decision to be made by anyone as soon as he's accepted here.
It is incorrect. Considering status in my thread means:
You don't have to re-apply.
- If you are old applicants (applicants): you are truly considering because you've passed through the first 2 rounds of investigation from the manager.
- If you are new applicants (new applicants): you only applied recent days, and have not yet passed through any investigation round of the manager.
You don't have to re-apply.
- Open slots will fill from existing applications and new applications. If you're already applied, you do not need to reapply.
Thank you for the heads-up! That's exactly why I said I edited my post - I cannot delete my reply within 24hrs so I had to change the re-application to that edited post as soon as I found your thread.

Thank you for the explanation, Questat. Well, in case something would change, I think DarkStar will announce here. I thought it was worth to ask the question though. As far as I know, the extra slots became available as a surprise and I was wondering if they have different conditions.
Given that it is only 1 extra slot remaining,
There will be more slots according to Darkstar's last update. This is what will happen with the campaign:
- The final slot will remain unfilled this week.
- There will be additional removals (and thus new slots) this week and/or next week.
