I don't see why would people will still stay in a bounty campaign if the BM doesn't even update the sheets. Consider also those bounties that would require your email and they'll send you a phishing link to a website to put in your private key as well as your wallet file if you're using .dat wallet in MEW. I had one of those before and thankfully I wasn't a fool to fall for those.

There are also one thing I could add. Good thing that the forum has the feature of counting the  deleted posts in a moderated thread. Consider that also in your list. I think there's no particular reason to moderate a bounty thread.

I don't think many of the bounty hunters try to find out any of these. They just saw a new announcement and they rush into it. They don't have any time to check how good that bounty was or some don't even know how to choose a good project. Also, I think there are a lot of bot account and some use multi-account too. So i think they can't manage some time to check those bounties. One day these types of people surely will regret how much time they wasted.

I hate to see when spreadsheets are not updated every week promptly after the end of the week also when there is no indication of weekly time frames in the bounty thread and spreadsheet, it just depicts that team and bounty manager is non serious which is a really bad sign.

I think that no one can give a 100% guarantee of the success of the project, even if White Paper looks perfect and the team seems to be professional.  You can now list dozens of such projects that have announced themselves very loudly, but today there is not even any connection with the team.  Not to mention that no one saw the promised reward for the Bounty Company.  So I believe that anyway, for every Bounty Hunter there is a huge risk, even after carefully studying all the available information about the project.

Are you kind to your neighbor? Think it through
You have highlighted basically more than enough lapses that is evident in fraudulent Bounties.
now it is up to all Bounty hunters to conduct proper researches and identify one or more red flags before joining a Bounty.

Remember, if Bounty hunters can collectively ignore scam Bounties, then it will go off like a thin air

All these does not turn out to no payment. Some bounties can be complicated and hunters will be paid at the end whereas some others can be way too simple yet people won't paid at the end.

Sure. But the post isn't an end to itself but a means to an end. Is a guide however.
.... And seriously..., it represent 85% of the signs that seem innocuous to the failed bounties I have wasted my time on. ...Especially those that didn't find their way to exchange and never distributed. I mean those heinous projects that some of us have done that had "full capacity intention"  Grin to scam both investors in ICO, IEO and hunters.

Another important point to make here is if the team has no or few worded whitepaper with no good description of what the project is all about. i knew a project that wrote a full whitepaper and even got listed on CMC but was an Airdrop platform. was highly discouraged when it appears the whole stuff was shit and nothing to offer.
i strongly believe this place needs to be regulated.
If it is already obvious just by seeing the whitepaper and the team's background, we should quickly evade it so that we won't get scammed. There are a lot of scam project at the moment and if we are going to be careless, we would be very vulnerable to it leading to high possible losses. Be always smart and wise upon joining a certain project so that your time wouldn't go to waste at the end.

Just by looking at the team and the white paper you will already have a gist that a project is a potential scam. Making your own in-depth research about the team and the project itself will help you gauge if ever it is legitimate or not. People should do due diligence before promoting a project, that way it can help lessen scam projects from entering the cryptocurrency market.
As to what I was saying, searching the team and the whitepaper all throughout would be a great help for you in deciding whether you are going to join the project or not. If you are really eager to join a campaign that is worth it, then make your own in-depth research about it. Let us lessen the scammers by avoiding feeding them money as we get scammed by them so let us all be knowledgeable enough about it.

Everything you said are true but after all this there is still no guarantee that the project you promoting will turn out good, there are few perfect scams in crypto space that no one can detect until turn to be scam

Creating such a table requires a lot of knowledge and time. Therefore, such a table cannot be free of charge. But as I understand on the forum very few who are willing to pay for such selection bounty. Therefore, those who started to make such a table, after a while stopped supporting it .

Yes, many prefer to create a website, which is great while it has its own promotions, then it goes to oblivion.
Yes, it's quite some work until such a topic becomes well known. Afterwards the bounty posters and hunters will help out maintaining it. The same happens with the Bitcoin signature campaigns.

And I also don't agree with you on the "table cannot be free of charge" part. If you don't want to move a finger without getting paid on this forum, it's... ugly. I understand that if you would not have a signature campaign you wouldn't have even answered to this thread, right?
Well, this forum is about helping each other. Not necessarily about earning money. That's just a plus.

Becauss people always take such topics for granted believing that they won't be a victim, not a chance. And then would go back here, would look for some sympathy, will blame the project as if they don't deserve to be a victim in the first place when they entered/participated on their own discretion. Well reality sucks but it is what it is. Either way there are still people who found such topics a big help for their journey, I certainly believe so.

Far too many simply jump in for campaigns fearing to not be missed out. And after a while they find out that they should have been better doing a little background check (at least!).
It's just another kind of FOMO and it hits badly on this level.

I think there is someone who created a thread that tackles about a good bounties. He/She even had a telegram channel announcing bounties. So if you have time may be you could take a look up on his/her work.
Here's the thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/safe-campaigns-in-the-altcoin-section-to-join-dont-waste-your-time-with-others-5228629

I know that topic, not as nicely formatted as I'd like, but it's a good start.
On the telegram and other kind of outside links, sorry, but if they are not in this forum so I can see when they're updated, I tend to forget "visiting" those links sooner or later. And I don't use telegram much.

I remembered that your active before on listing good bounties. Why did you stop the update? I usually search on your list before as you keep detailed and complete list of every bounty that has been introduced here in forum.

Asking big questions on telegram channel or group is very effective  Grin you will definitely get blocked if there is something shady about the project
Thats right. If participants ask some question that not favored them or trapped in such inquiry, they will definitely shut you down or kick. Meaning they dont want to answer it or prolong the discussion since some shady stuff will be noticed.

Though I am not agree with all of your points but yet you mentioned some really catchy reason to avoid shit bounties. This is good that many people like you are spending huge time on making awareness thread to save bounty hunter from scam but the saddest thing is, most of the bounty hunters are not listening to these, they keep joining in new scam bounties after so much warning! However, I hope the situation will be changed very soon and all the scam bounties will be neglected!

I totally agree, this is one of the major signs to tell you if the bounty and the team are legit or not,
Sometimes they will deliberately ignore your question in other not to answer it,
If you ask a very complicated question, they will try to avoid it or block you from the group,
Another problem is many hunters don't ask questions, they will just join any bounty they come across and then cry later if they didn't get paid.

I've read or tried to help build so many such lists I started get sick of them, really. Nobody seems to read them.

Maybe somebody could try to maintain a nicely formatted topic with the "good" bounties.
But at start it will need a lot of work.

Actually this one really helps,

I am also doing this, I always find something suspiscious about the project and then if they will kicked me out of their channel, I can say that the project is hiding something.

I already see the number 7 in many projects but the project don't say anything, they only tell you can keep doing the task until the campaign finish. But the other signs is right too because many scam projects did that and they leave the project in the end, so that makes the participants sad and confuse. Yes, we can help to stop it by not participating in those projects. But it is difficult because we already help them from the beginning, and they can get the investors so then they can run away with their money.

Even everything above is followed correctly, still there's no guarantee that project will be good. However, if someone does enough research it's possible to avoid scam project. I am really bored on bounty and given up participating too.
The most important thing is that we as bounty hunters are constantly trying to find legitimate projects, for me to avoid this kind of thing is to join several campaigns such as blogs or social media in several projects. When I used to have a lot of free time I often did that and there were definitely some projects that would pay.
as a bounty hunter it is really hard for us to this come by some bad projects or trash bounties so for my fellow bounty hunters let's be careful on picking a bounty of things that we are joining or participated because we are already aware that there are some or few scam bounties that are not paying their participants or their bounty hunters and they are just keeping it.
So i suggest to just picky on some bounty campaign so that you will not be able to promote or participate on some bad bounty campaigns.

It is very difficult to understand which bounty company is scam and which is not, because I have been participating in bounty companies for a very long time and very often it happens that a bounty company in which you are sure that not a scam is actually a scam, and another bounty company in which you was 100% sure that it will be scam is not scam.

This is true. Sometimes, even scam projects comply with the given requirements so it's hard to determine whether a certain project is a scam or not in just a short span of time. In some cases, it takes time before you consider a project a scam. If you're not comfortable or if you're doubting about it, it's better to look for a legit project so you'll never have regrets in the future. Things will always depend on our decisions so we have to be skeptical.
No mate, there will always be a flaws when it comes to scam campaign,

If the above requirements are met, then the project seems to be serious about their goal and the project itself. Scam project will always have something to forgot to add for the project or any information that will give you doubts.
