Good game from Ajax, they are already champions, the goal difference is simply too big. An important step from PSV to 2nd place, I don't think AZ can catch up, AZ will probably be 3rd because the pursuers are already too far behind.

Ajax have almost guaranteed champions title after beating AZ 2:0 today. Now they only have not to lose against Emmen next round. It's very solid season for them iwth domestic double - they also won cup few weeks ago. Only disappointment is Europa league where they were eliminated by Roma in 1/4 final, despite playing solid football.
It's also important to mention that fans finally were allowed to return to stadium. There was 7500 fans in Amsterdam Arena today and atmosphere was great.

did not catch that, great news, probably they allowed them to celebrate the title, and that makes it a good feeling, congrats to Ajax, they win the season somewhere between February and March, when all the other teams were a bit down, and they come up with a winning strike
PSV has three points above AZ at the moment, and better start before last four rounds for a CL fight
Vitesse is the biggest loser, at one moment seemed that they could fight for the title, but now they need to stay in Europa league positions

Ajax is known for their winning capacity. They have lose 2 matches so far since the season started, drawed 4 and have won 24 matches. With a Nice gap from PSV. Also have won the Eredivisie most, which is 34 times. Followed by PSV. Am convinced, they will also win this season. Making it 35.

Feyenoord with a red card yesterday was able to draw against Vitesse. I though Vitesse will use the red card as an advantage of winning the match, but it seem Feyenoord was not readly of losing any point. However, Feyenoord needs more points to get ahead of Vitesse.

Congrat to ajax, they create a new record which team has 35 the title of champion. this isn't finished yet PSV still can defeat ajax with the same point but can't defeat on 1st stand cause of goals different. Possible for PSV to get 2nd position as champion league zone if they were still consistent on the last games.

Too bad Ajax played 1-1 against FC Utrecht last night. If they want to become the champions this weekend they have to win and PSV must not win.

But they have weeks enough to get the last points of course.

Not so tragic for Ajax, if they win the next game or play a draw they are as good as champions, Ajax has 32 points better goal difference and is now 12 points ahead. One point should be enough on Sunday to fix the title, if I'm not wrong? The goal difference alone makes them champions ...

Yep their goal difference is way too big so they would be the unofficial champion. As long they others have still a chance they aren't the real champions yet. ;-)

Ajax is as good as fix master for me, they only need one point. PSV did what they had to do to finish as second. AZ has to risk everything at Ajax today to have another chance at second place. But i still think Ajax will win the game today.

PSV managed to defeat Groningen 1-0 although their three goals were cancelled by VAR.  Grin  If AZ lose points in the game against Ajax away tomorrow, PSV will finish the week being in a big profit.
AZ will be going to fight in the Amsterdam arena tonight. it's not easy to defeat them at the home. however Ajax will fight much either to get a champion Eredivisie trophy for this session, this is to secure the chance either. for AZ to be champion zone league on 2nd position is more important, they will be playing attack each other, this looks attractive games for tonight.

Ajax are very comfortable as they are near to guarantee their championship. Their last head-to-head ended with the huge victory of Ajax, 3-0. But things are different this time and it's a very important game for AZ. And they have a really nice form as well. They might manage to draw with Ajax. But one thing seems certain for me that we will see goal(s) from both of them.

Well if Ajax wins against FC Utrecht they can win the championship in the match against AZ so they will take that much seriously. No way they dont take that match not that serious. They have plenty of time to win the championship but the sooner the better.

if there is a chance to win a championship at home, than Ajax will try to use it, although there is no fans on the stadiums, and will be creepy to celebrate on an empty stadium
nevertheless, it does seem that Ajax would like to take the championship as soon as possible, they are in winning strike, now without Europa league disturbance, and that leaves AZ with lower chances to avoid lose in Amsterdam

After Ajax was eliminated in the Europa League, I think they will give everything in today's game to secure the title on Sunday at the latest by their own hands. For AZ it will of course be very difficult to take points on Sunday. And yes, it's sad if you win the championship at home and the stadium is empty.

It depends on how important Ajax take the game, next week I am assuming an Ajax victory in the addendum. If PSV then doesn't win on Saturday, Ajax will be the champions if I'm not mistaken. Should this happen, will Ajax still take Sunday's game seriously? Should PSV win, they will try to secure the championship title in the home Stadion. But Ajax has the more important game tomorrow I think.

Maybe not mathematically yet but Ajax are already the champions if we think realistically. They are going to play their missing game against Utrecht next week and they will most probably beat their opponent.

I am very sure that Ajax will not play seriously in the match against AZ, one of the factors is that AZ has played 29 matches, but Ajax has only played 28 games. Besides that too, Ajax definitely wants to keep the performance of its players to stay fit.

Besides that, PSV might be having a hard time facing their opponents before entering the month of May. Many PSV Players Have Injuries.

If Ajax don't play very seriously then AZ's chance for a win will be quite high. It will be more dependent on the result of the Ajax-Utrecht game. If Ajax win that, they may not take the AZ game very seriously.

The Ajax - AZ Alkmaar game in 2 weeks will be a big chance for PSV to gain an advantage surely. But even if AZ lose to Ajax in that one and PSV benefit from it, I'm also sure that we will watch a great competition for the 2nd place between these two clubs.

will be interesting to see fight between PSV and AZ, that should last until the end
next round for them will bring AZ match in Amsterdam, so PSV could take some advantage after that one

on the bottom end, Venlo is sinking and they are approaching relegation, with Emmen just a point behind and Willem II already above, they will certainly have this break to consolidate

Wait and see how much power Ajax still has and how seriously they still take it. I think the focus is currently on the Europa League game. The next round has more priority than the league game, and Ajax also has the supplementary game on Thursday.
