Ajax did the least they needed for the championship, now it's getting a little closer to second place and it remains exciting.

Ajax also has one game less and can build on the lead.

As I said before, they are closer to the championship now but they still have hard games ahead of them too. They have games vs AZ home, Feyenoord away and Vitesse away in their remaining games. PSV also are going to play against Feyenoord home and AZ away consecutively. PSV should do whatever they can to win these matches. After that, they will wait for Ajax to make (multiple  Grin) mistakes to be able to take the lead.

That's so correct, there is still a long way to the championship title, but the starting situation for Ajax looks good at the moment and doesn't depend on anyone.

This week we had the semi finals for the Dutch Cup.

Vitesse won against VVV with 2-0. Ajax won against Heerenveen with 0-3. So the final will be Vitesse - Ajax. It will be a interesting final. The final will be played at the 18th of April.

So Ajax also can take the double 👌.

Let's get the actual standing:

After the last draw of Ajax against PSV they are in a very good position to win the championship. The fight for place 2 is now the interesting one. AZ did well last matches and could even become second.

At the bottom FC Emmen start winning so the gap between ADO Den Haag is getting smaller. At the end they wont make it I guess to place 16 but who knows.

That was to be expected as PSV fought really hard for the qualification in Europa League and I think they deserved to have been qualified based on their performance but they were unlucky.Ajax was lucky to have a late minute penalty but PSV if didn’t play in Europa League they would have won yesterday game.

Despite getting eliminated from the Europa League, PSV still didn't lose their focus on this game and put up a good fight. Ajax were very lucky like you said that they managed to save at least one point. Ajax should be more comfortable from now on as they got rid of one of their hardest games with a favorable result.

agree for PSV, disappointing week for them, two late goals changed their season for worst, since they were kicked-out by Olympiakos and now definitely left to fight for number 2 in Ere divisie, but they should do better
and I would not say that they were better team on Sunday, Ajax was good enough, if not better than them, and goal was really late, from penalty spot, but I cannot say that it was not deserved, they fought well, and they are on the top because of their good play this season

it will be interesting could AZ reach Champions league next season, both teams are good, and PSV is down emotionally, could lose some point down the road, I am not a fan of neither, but would sit back and follow their fight, Feyenoord is completely out, and Vitesse form is miserable at the moment, who can even remember that they were near the top month ago

VAR and than late penalty by Ajax, and there was a draw instead of home win for the weekend derby, so Ajax is on the brink of the new title
match was good to watch, PSV had a lead, but Ajax were better team on the pitch and late goal is earned well, as well as the title in the end, Ajax seems as much better team at the moment

AZ won over Feyenoord and battle for position two is now most interesting in Ere divisie

I think it was really a big disappointment for PSV not to be able to winning this with a very good effort. I think they played better than Ajax. Because Ajax got 17 shots but only 3 of them were on goal which was terrible for them. PSV missed their biggest chance to get closer to them in the table and Ajax will be the champions easier now.

AZ are going to play a home game against Feyenoord this weekend. AZ are the 3rd with 46 points and Feyenoord are the 4th with 43 points. AZ lost twice (3W 2L) and Feyenoord lost only once (2W 2D 1L) in the last 5 games in the league. AZ have lost 3 times in their home games (6W 2D 3L). Feyenoord have lost 3 times in their away games (6W 3D 3L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, both teams won twice and 1 game ended in a draw. In this season, AZ beat Feyenoord 3-2 away on Jan 24, 2021.

Missing player(s) at AZ: Calvin Stengs (6 goals), Jonas Svensson
Missing player(s) at Feyenoord: Justin Bijlow (uncertain), J. Carlos Teixeira

This is one of the toughest and competitive game of this week. AZ won their last 3 games. Feyenoord got 2 draws in their last 2 games. I think the best choice for this match is "both teams to score".

Zwolle is playing with Heerenveen tonight, and it seems that we will have another boring match in Dutch ere on Friday, last weekend was exception with Utrecht 0:6 win

alhough Heerenveen has a bit more chances, it is not a match to put some bigger money on

nevertheless, there are two big matches during weekend, both on Sunday, PSV will try to keep up with Ajax, and make season a bit more interesting, in an Eindhoven derby, that is playing from 14:30 (usually these are playing in earlier termin from 12:30, but seems that no spectators means it could go later), even with a win PSV is far from the title, and all other outcomes would put title in Amsterdam
PSV just left Europa league on a late goal by Olympiakos, and it is hard to expect some great performance on Sunday, but I will go with them and watch the match cheering for Philips's

another good one on Sunday is in Alkmaar, their motivation could go high in case Ajax win in Eindhoven, and their chances to reach Champions league will go up, so I will wait with this until the outcome from first match

PSV are going to play a home game against Ajax this weekend. It is a very big game as it can be very effective on the road to the championship. Ajax maintain their lead with 56 points and PSV are the 2nd with 50 points. Ajax got 5 wins and PSV lost only once (3W 1D 1L) in the last 5 games in the league. PSV have lost only once in their home games (10W 1L). Ajax also have lost only once in their away games (9W 1D 1L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, Ajax won 3 times and 2 games ended in a draw. In this season, Ajax drew with PSV 2-2 home on Jan 10, 2021.

Missing player(s) at PSV: Ibrahim Sangare (1 goal), Olivier Boscagli (uncertain - 2 goals), Mohammed Ihattaren (uncertain - 2 goals), Noni Madueke (6 goals),
Cody Gakpo (5 goals), Richard Ledezma, Maximiliano Romero (1 goal)
There is no missing player at Ajax.

We will see a very competitive and close game surely. PSV have many missing players but still I expect a very good performance from them. It is a chance for PSV to reduce the point difference to 3. But if Ajax manage to win this game somehow, I think there will be no way that they will be losing the title. I feel like it will end in a draw.

Ajax had an easy win against Sparta Rotterdam: 4-2. If Ajax played more concentrated the score could be much more but it looks like they thought it was all OK after the 4-0. Danzell Gravenberch of Sparta scored to times against his little brother Ryan Gravenberch (Ajax).

Next Sunday we have PSV - Ajax. If Ajax win that game they are way too far ahead for other teams to catch.

Yes easy win from Ajax, next weekend could there be a small preliminary decision should Ajax win. For a non Ajax fan it would be preferable to PSV win or they play a draw. The same at AZ and Feyenoord for the third place.

11 weeks left to go (which is 12 for Ajax as they have a missing game). The gap between Ajax and PSV is 6 points. It is unacceptable for PSV to lose this home match vs Ajax. Because it can pave the way for Ajax to win the title. On their last rendezvous which was in Johan Cruijff Arena, it ended 2-2. It is very probable that we can see a tie again, I think.

They play against each other later on in the Dutch Cup and Ajax won that game with 2-1. Ajax was the first half much beter then PSV. The 2-1 was scored by an own goal by Timber.

So I don't see PSV win this game but let's see what they can do at home.

Ajax already finished Sparta Rotterdam in the first half and demolished them. On the other hand, PSV had a hard game vs Vitesse home. Vitesse scored an early goal but PSV turned the game around very nicely and managed to win (66', 86' and 88').
PSV-Ajax is of capital importance as it will affect the point difference between these two for the championship. Ajax-PSV ended 2-2 in this season and both teams played really good. PSV got ahead 2-0 in that game and Ajax made a comeback. This time maybe PSV can manage to defeat them but it will be a tough game for sure.

Top of the table league clash this Sunday in the Eredivisie; This will test PSV title credentials and if really they want to win the title come May; A win for PSV means Ajax lead at the top is cut to 3 points; while An Ajax win means they go 9 points clear with a game in hand. Who are you rooting for ?

Live now;

Twente vs Feyenoord

Seems, Twente take a lead to win the game, they created the second goal only 1 minute after Danilo makes a goal by penalty. ball positions still on Feyenoord, can Feyenoord make it draw?

Feyenoord succeeded in making a comeback from a 2-0 score and the match ended 2-2. I was expecting a tough game and it didn't make me surprised. Feyenoord are at the 4th position having 42 points. Twente are at the 8th position having 34 points.
