It has been a really interesting day so far. Ajax played a home game against Utrecht. And Utrecht were also having a good season until this game. But I still thought that Ajax would destroy them as there is a huge power difference between them. However, Ajax made me very surprised at the end of the match. They lost the game by 1-0 and they got their first loss also. Now, Utrecht are at the 2nd place being only two points behind the leader Ajax. Maybe it can be an interesting season this time but I still feel like Ajax will start pulling away from their competitors at some point.

So the Eredivisie is the next league with a surprising loss for a favorite team.... This is really odd this weekend. We had Barcelona and Madrid losing their games, we had Bayern losing their game, we had PSG losing their game, Manchester United losing points very late. I guess a lot of sport bettors went nuts this weekend! Wink

Ajax had 30 : 1 goals before this game. How on earth would anyone ever bet against them? Cheesy

Ajax is a real goal machine this season
Talking about ajax until now there is no doubt about it but in the last week they got an obstacle from utrecht which although it did not make them move from the first position but their difference is now closer and only two points apart.

regarding 2nd place fight, Willem II seems to have rather good start, but I think they will drop out through-out the season, and PSV will probably have only Feyenoord to fight for CL next season (could not set apart that even Feyenoord will go down with form during the season)
Willem II is one of the clubs that has been quite consistent this season and when looking at the last 5 matches, they can win 3 matches, 1 draw and 1 loss.
although the defeat in the last week against Heracles is something that can be considered quite bad but Willem II is still good so far.
although it will be very difficult to fight for the second position but at least Willem II is at the top of the standings

LOL, I just checked the table for the Eredivisie for the first time in a while. Ajax Amsterdam has 30 : 2 goals... Now, if you see that score to concede ratio, would you ever be able to draw the conclusion that they did lose one game and tie one game out of 8? With 30 : 2? Anyway, that is just a sick scoring ratio, no doubt about that. Compared to that PSV is really weak with their 17 : 10. Time for the showdown between the two!

So, this day finally come - Ajax suffered first loss in this Eredivisie season. They lost to Utrecht at home 0:1.If I'm not mistaken, it's first game when Ajax didn't scored after 20 games in a row. While Utrecht quite unexpected wnt up to 2nd place, just 2 points behind Ajax.
Other game is in action now where Vitesse is leading 2:1 against Feyenoord after 60 minutes. And one game later today between PSV and Sparta Rotterdam.

Twente is down at the moment in Groningen, after four wins in a row, it was a bit expected

Ajax is having easy one with Utrecht, probably H2, H3 should be targeted, PSV is playing Sparta, should be an easy one as well
other three top teams have much harder tasks, Feyenoord have away match in Arnhem, with Vitesse, and despite Vitesse being in bad form, it will not be an easy win, @1.95 is a solid value
Willem II is playing great, but it will be hard to win against Heracles, while AZ is getting into shape and Cambuur should be down (interestingly enough, Cambuur is not defensive team, and they have four wins and 9:0 lose against Ajax in last five rounds), but goals on Cambuur - AZ are the best bet, over3.5

Another strong game from Ajax, Feyenoord also won. From PSV it is currently just too little, as you already write Feyenoord has one game less and can with a win to catch up with Ajax. I would not have expected Feyenoord this year as so strong, am a bit surprised.

Feyenoord is great this season, although I do not think that they will hold up throughout the season, to compete with Ajax
but, some points up, and they will a chance to compete for CL with PSV, it was a great football for weekend in Rotterdam, eight goals and another three points for them, Ajax is just to strong, they are filling every team with few goals in the net, but PSV lose is really good for Feyenoord

AZ is waking up, five goals into Eagles net, for a second win this season, they will probably reach top 4 as well

I also think that only Feyenoord and PSV are good enough to fight for 2nd place, Ajax seems to be extremely strong again and is back in the title hunt.
Bad day for PSV, what happen? (all lost on the last 3 games), they don't have enough challenge when they still play like this, Feyenoord has 1 game didn't play yet, still has a chance to grow up to 2nd place. maybe they have dividing concentrate on Eufa league in next day, I hope so they fix that when meet sturm.

PSV also has a piece of great news with bitcoin, Anycoin Direct exchange will be sponsorship for PSV for the next 2 years. PSV also accepted bitcoin as payment contract and keep hold it on their balance sheet.

There is not much excitement in the Dutch league. Ajax will win again, others will fight for second place. Ajax is so good that there is a serious quality difference between them and other teams. My favorite part of Ajax is that it always shines by playing young players. However, they are still very successful.
Today they won comfortably by scoring 3 goals again. I'm surprised Haller didn't score. They will play in Champions League two days later, they still didn't do much rotation unlike their opponent.

Did anyone watched Feyenoord - NEC game? If not, I'm sorry for you because you missed a lot Cheesy. It was sick game. One of the best games this season not just in Eredivisie, but in whole Europe in general.
Feyenoord scored 2 early goals and it already looked that they are going to achieve easy win. But NEC in the first half already responded with 2 goals and made score 2:2. In 2nd half they scored 3rd goal. Amazing comeback. But it's not the end - Guus Til responded with 2 goals near to the end of game and Feyenoord were leading again. And Feyenoord finished things by scoring 5th goal.
Amazing win, but I feel sorry for NEC - They didn't deserved to leave Roterdam with 0 points.

I watched the second half and it was amazing NEC scored an amazing goal to lead 2-3 and then Feyenord just started pushing and pushing and pushing and they scored 3 goals after that for a total of 5 goals what a match and what an ending. Til destroyed NEC in this match.

PSV and Feyenoord have also won their games yesterday, Feyenoord is now closing on PSV and certainly fight for the 2nd place with, Willem II I can not assess enough, they are strong and stable enough to fight for the 2nd or 3rd place permanently?

Ajax is a real goal machine this season
regarding 2nd place fight, Willem II seems to have rather good start, but I think they will drop out through-out the season, and PSV will probably have only Feyenoord to fight for CL next season (could not set apart that even Feyenoord will go down with form during the season)
AZ is a surprise for me, they are next to bottom with 3 points from five matches, really disappointing, but their luck will probably change to the better

I also think that only Feyenoord and PSV are good enough to fight for 2nd place, Ajax seems to be extremely strong again and is back in the title hunt.

So far, Ajax have been showing a great performance like all the time. They won 5 games and got a draw and they are the leading team in the table. They scored 27 goals and conceded only 1 in their first 6 matches. This is really huge for them but it mustn't be that hard as they have very easy opponents in general. The only teams that can get a point against them seem like PSV, Feyenoord and Twente (already did). I don't say AZ Alkmaar because they are terrible this season (1W 4L).

I agree, Ajax is putting in a very strong performance in the league and also in the Champions League and are probably unbeatable in the league. Why AZ is so weak this year I can not explain?

and when you think you saw everything this weekend, PSV got trashed 0:4 at home, by Feyenoord
two late goals, but nevertheless, painful lose for PSV, and yeah it does seem that Ajax is already holding the title, although the season just started
Yeah, that was really something unexpected. Especially because result is such big and they won away. Until now Feyenoord looked not impressive at all and this win get them closer to leading group.
This week we will have midweek round which will start tomorrow. There is no must watch games, maybe only Twente - Alkmaar sound interesting for neutral spectator.

In the bag I would not say now the season is still very long, but such slips of PSV hurt them and will also not be good for self-confidence. For the fans of the Dutch league, it would of course be advantageous if Feyenoord could catch up and it becomes a three-way fight for the title.  But will Ajax allow that or will they play sovereign like last year?

Tomorrow, PSV are going to play a home match against Feyenoord. And this is one of the biggest games in the league I think. PSV started with 4 wins in 4 matches. Feyenoord lost one of their 3 matches and won the rest of them. Interestingly, the last 3 matches in this stadium ended with the same result which was 1-1. But this time could be different. And I expect PSV to win this by one goal.
A pretty hot match was presented here but I was very surprised by the final score which was like a massacre for PSV considering they lost by 4 goals at home.
but indeed Feyenoord's players played well on all fronts and even if they lost in match statistics they were able to mess up the psv defense and maximize the chances that occurred.
