What reasons would you guys have to use multibit HD (once they have trezor support), over just using the mytrezor webwallet?   The webwallet has enough functionality for me alone...

Decentralization.

What do you mean by that? Like we don't have to depend on a back-end server like we do a with Trezor?

Let's say you have a three company owners. One is in Japan, Second in the US and third in Zurich. You may need two of them to sign company expenses. That's what multi sig is about.
Second use case: You have to sign transaction with 3 out of five: your Trezor, your wife's Trezor, your mobile phone, Trezor in the bank vault and your geek cousin computer wallet.

Any local wallet I've used has never not worked for me unlike mytrezor which has been unavailable to me on more than one occasion

After 17 months, it would appear Trezor support in Multibit HD is coming.

In other news, Trezor Bridge has appeared on github.

Now we just need Multisig support !

Anyone else having problem with not being able to access their account via mytrezor.com?

It doesn't seem to recognize my device at all.

does it show Account #1 loading ... loading ...
on repeat, never finishing? if so, the backend of the website hung up and needs, ehm, to be turned off and on again

or do you receive an error message?

mine was doing that a couple of days ago, as everyone was facing the same issues.   I don't think that issue is going on right now because mine is working fine...

Aren't you using Chromium by any change? (not Chrome)

Nope, Google Chrome 37.0.2062.124.

This is what the log shows

Quote
["error","Wed, 08 Oct 2014 13:49:00 GMT","[app] Loading http transport failed",{"cors":"rejected"}]
["log","Wed, 08 Oct 2014 13:49:01 GMT","[trezor] Loaded plugin 1.0.5"]

That "http transport failed" isn't indicative of a problem, I see that during normal operation.

No, not loading. Just "disconnected". And when I use "forget my device" it never recognizes it. No error message.

Can I restore a BIP44 wallet created with other software?
Yes. When you start a fresh install of the app you get the option to restore a backup. You can choose between word lists lengths of 12, 18, or 24 words, and also supply an optional password in accordance with BIP44. This way you can restore all HD accounts generated by other wallets compatible with BIP44 and BIP39. For instance, this allows you to import your TREZOR word list in case your device was lost or damaged so you can quickly move your funds to safety.

I'm on OSX.  I was able to setup and use the Trezor in Safari (I don't use Safari generally), but it won't work in Chrome (my main browser).  It asks me to install the browser plugin, which I do, but then that message doesn't go away.

Chrome is not supported on Mac OS X at the moment.

That's odd, it seems to work for me. Can I provide some information to troubleshoot this issue perhaps?
I'm also using the stable channel of Chrome on OSX Yosemite B3 and it works just fine!

The server was not fixed. It was restarted. This will happen again soon. I look forward to Electrum release so I have a backup solution when this happens next time.

You don't have to wait until the release, you can follow the instructions here under "Development version".

I had contacted them a few days ago about a bug that didn't show *some* transactions. They said they are aware and it's a backend problem. Seems it just got worse.

It looks like the transactions are back to normal.   I also received a message from the guys over at trezor saying that they have fixed the problem.  Pretty prompt response from them, which is much appreciated Smiley
