All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
So is this the safest way to store Bitcoin and be able to spend it pretty quickly trying to weigh up the pros and cons of this.
I would call it one of the safest.  I use it to store a lot of BTC.

So are you guys plugging it in to check the balances every so often, or just entering the receiving address into a block explorer?
You do not need to plug it in to get the balance if your browser has remembered the xpub key.  The balance should be available at mytrezor.com without plugging in the Trezor.

It would be very painful to enter all of the receiving and change addresses into a block explorer.  There could be many of them and they are (should be) always changing.

One of the things I really like about Trezor and deterministic wallets in general is that they move people away from address reuse which is a big deal for privacy and fungibility.

This is the land of wolves now & you're not a wolf
the right button seems slightly dented in the center.

thats normal

you're right, I just checked again, and there are dents in the buttons.   So are you guys plugging it in to check the balances every so often, or just entering the receiving address into a block explorer?

It would be cool if they offered a discount if you purchased them in bulk, or at least multiple trezors.   I guess you can use your own affiliate link, right?

Hi All!

I think we have identified the problem that is occuring for OS X users where Plugin crashed on some systems. Would you mind trying new version of TREZOR plugin which is available from URL below and report back if it helped or not?

https://mytrezor.com/data/plugin/test/trezor-plugin-1.0.6.dmg

This version of plugin works only in Safari and Firefox, because Chrome still does not have a 64-bit version under OS X.

Thank you very much for your feedback!
Three Mac machines here.
Now it works great.
Thank you very much for your hard team work and excellent customer support.
I will definitely buy more TREZORs for other family members and friends.Waiting for a different colors to be more personal.

mine don't have any dents in the buttons

turn it in the light. either way if some don't i can attest that many do. ive seen them like that in youtube videos and pictures and on mine.

I think I am going to buy another one as a backup and just keep it in the box, unless I have a problem with my current one.   If I do have a problem, I am not going to want to have to order another and wait for it to arrive and all that...

i wish they sold the metal ones.  I would be willing to pay extra for it...

Weird, mine didn't have any plastic protection, and the right button seems slightly dented in the center.

there's a little bit of what looks like delaminating on the bottom of the screen on my trezor. it looks like a little bubble under the screen. is this because there is a protective sticker that i can just peel off or is it something else?

Have you not peeled off the laminate that it is shipped with?   I was going to leave it on, but I was having trouble holding both buttons down and plugging it into the computer at the same time (because the cord is so short).

The laminate is really sticky, so you can probably lift it and stick it back down if that is what you want to do...

Oh yea i pulled that of. That was across the whole trezor. I'm just talking about the screen only. Driving me bonkers Angry

I been seeing this for a couple of days.

It's reported, we know about the problem and we are working on it. And yes, it's caused by multisig transactions.

I didn't get any multi sig transactions...

Also when is someone going to answer my ticket as it has been sitting for a long time. Over 14 hours!

Did you send any multisig (m-of-n) transactions to it by any chance? This happend to me.

I feel like this is needed to be said since so many people report in with a similar problem:

I believe some of the stock USB cables are broken (white and blue) due to a wrong wiring. If the device is not recognized, unplug the cable immediately and if it works with another one, never use the stock cable again. Playing devils advocate: using a broken cable may harm the device.

No I didn't send any multi sig to it.

The cable isn't broken as I was able to sign transaction.
