I handled the metal version at the Amsterdam conference for a while (non working/software). Felt nice in the hand and didnt want to give it back!

Considering they seem to not be ready with the plastic cases, wish they would just satisfy the early plastic orders with metal ones instead.  Sad

Installation went through well from github but https://mytrezor.com/ also times out for me so there is the end of the testing.

Actually http://mytrezor.com/ works and said "Trezor Browser Plugin is succesfully installed" (there is a typo in "succesfully"). Probably the extension HTTPS Everywhere redirected to HTTPS, but if I enter http://mytrezor.com/ the plugin loads fine.

Tested it on a w7x64 on FF and chrome

For any Windows users wanting to help us with the browser plugin integration:

There's MSI installer of Bitcoin Trezor Plugin: BitcoinTrezorPlugin-1.0.0.msi at https://github.com/trezor/webwallet/tree/master/app/data/plugin
(Its quite painful to download binary file from github, so there's mirror on http://mytrezor.com/data/plugin/BitcoinTrezorPlugin-1.0.0.msi, but without a SSL certificate yet)

It would be extremely useful for us to install this browser plugin, open http://mytrezor.com in your favourite browser and report the status of plugin detection (there's status text in left top corner). Just short info about used OS version, browser and the result will be enough.

Both installer and Plugin are digitally signed by SatoshiLabs, so there should not appear any warning about untrusted software during the installation.

We have successfully tested the plugin in Vista and Win7 32/64 bits, but it is very hard for us to reach other versions of Windows. I'm particularly interested in reports of Win8 users.

Plugin should work seamlesly in IE/Firefox/Chrome, but reports from other browsers are welcome as well.

Both firefox, chrome and ie, 7 x64
Trezor Browser Plugin is succesfully installed

do not like no installation confirmation. ie pop up times out, must be restarted.
your first installation pop up seems to time out for everyone

bitcoininformation: Thanks for test, what OS version / Chrome version? Can you eventually open Chrome Developer tools (Ctrl+Shift+J in Chrome) and check if there's any error in the log?
See my edited post Wink It works now and I have added system specifications.

Downloaded the MSI from GitHub and it's clean according to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. The file is signed with a valid signature, but I do advice you guys to add an e-mail address to the "Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G4"-certificate. Everything seems to check out. Installing it right now (even though I didn't order a Trezor).

Installation worked just fine. However opening mytrezor.com doesn't work anymore. It worked before, but doesn't right now. It times out for no reason (and works just fine according to isitup.com). Restarting Chrome. Maybe that helps.

EDIT: Still times out.

System specifications:
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (2.00 GHz)
RAM: 6038 MB Total (2992 MB Free)
Browser: Chrome (version 33.0.1750.117 m)

EDIT 2: The site works now and the plugin installed correctly:
"Trezor Browser Plugin is succesfully installed"

I hope this helps Grin

Nice boxes.  Tongue

So basically, "firmware delays" ... this is not something you want to be rushing out under deadlines.

rather "firmware checking delays" and "plastic case designing delays"

Smiley

I really hope to get it by the end of march.

we're now actively looking for a new production facility that could guarantee a seamless production of plastic cases.

I'd be willing to buy the bare hardware no case. I suspect most people with access to a 3D printer would too.
