We have a new team I haven't seen before for the Academy side of CS:GO named Eternal fire.
There are the usual ones from last season returning such as Natus Vincere Junior, Big Academy, Fnatic Rising, Young Ninjas and Mouse Nxt.
The matches can be seen here:

LPL is back on the menu, i'm going for EDG -1.5 @1.51 expecting a smooth 2-0 from the current world champs as they go against JDG, not much information go against JDG but imo I think they're a mid table team as their roster don't look that good. Also, they got 0-4 in the Demacia Cup but during that tournament they're playing with a couple of their academy players rather than the full main lineup.

Edit : 2-0 win from EDG as expected but JDG put up a decent fight at the start of game 2 but they kept making small mistakes and EDG capitalized on it.

I placed bets on Young Ninjas to win their first match yesterday and then the second because they were playing a weaker team.
But they got beat pretty bad in the second match.
So it seems the map chosen does make a difference even to these younger teams in their game play.

I will keep backing Astralis talent for the rest of the tournament because I like their roster as I see they do play well together as a team.
This is where the games got interesting on which probabilities of be beaten up by weaker teams could really happen even myself didnt expect and speaking

of map chosen then its one of the factors but as a good team then quality of being versatile is a must no matter what map would be chosen up
but well lets move on and something like this could happen anytime.

Unless I know the players or at least some team redefining player(s) then not comfortable betting on the newer up and coming teams so much.   I used to bet on Tarik when he was 'unknown', long time ago and now he is wanting to go Valorant if anything looks like & I got 50x odds on some retired Canadian players, people who opted out of pro to go UNI not from any lack of skill but also they long gone now.  Its possible but tricky to do.  Perhaps bet small placer bets and learn something more then gain or risk especially.   Same for the Asia games, they dont feel as consistent but Im in the wrong time zone so some personal bias.

Now that the holidays are nearly over, Counterstrike events begin again for the new year.
There are some for the Funpark Asia groups early on tomorrow.
Then the WePlay season 3 starts on January 3rd where the regular names show up to compete.
You can view the matches here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/counter-strike/matches/future
Wow, they're already starting the matches, the teams don't seem to mind to play even though there's some holiday hangover. Pretty big names although usual teams are participating, need to probably stay away from betting for awhile to gauge the skills of other teams.
WePlay are usually with the younger players of those team names such as Young Ninjas for Ninjas in Pyjamas and Astralis talent for Team Astralis, etc.
So you get the feel of those up and comers to the tournament before they get called up from the main teams.

It should be a good tournament never the less and have placed bets on these teams myself so they do give good value to your bets.

I was referring to Free to Play for DOTA2 as the documentary on netflix and not bloodmoon.
I did find it's story poor but hopefully their second season does it justice when it releases in about three weeks from now on the 21st of next month.
Here is more information about this documentary of the Internationals final of the largest prize pool given in an online gaming tournament of $1.06 million with the film centralized on the famous Dendi and Fear.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3203290
For something that happened a decade ago it still is rather intriguing to see how it built up and made it's high presence in the online gaming genre to this day possible. And this was the first time I found out why there were Dendi emojis made for this player of DOTA2.

Not too certain if anyone has viewed anything on netflix recently but there are a couple of shows/series which are from the DOTA 2 and the League of Legends universe.

I've watched already the Dota 2 Bloodmoon story by Davion Knight or DK all the story is good and the animation but it's like just a simple animation but the story of course it hits different and now recently the Leauge of legends release their series too which is becomes more trend honestly I will in favour of the LoL animations they release than Dota even though I'm not playing their game but it's a different story if the game itself.

The two shows are reviewed at these youtube videos for those who interested in seeing them:
First one is for Arcane from the Critical Drinker - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3h6Pszege4
This one is from Upcomer stating it is the series which took over netflix - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89Nlk9wQ11U

Both reviews are correct and should be watched before viewing the series in my opinion anyways.
It certainly is a masterpiece to behold and the best adaptation for a video game series ever made.

Navi won the World championship in the Blast Premier finals.
Congratulations to them as they well deserved it the way they were playing the whole tournament only losing to Team Liquid the first day. But that was a fluke win.

Here are the video clips from some of the players after the finals and with Shox on Team Vitality leaving, which was a surprise.

Blast Premier had been pretty good to me yesterday along with a ESEA match I did have my doubts about.
But in the end it paid out! Wink

Smooth win on the Fnatic pick, watched Talon play against Nigma Galaxy earlier and with the way they're playing, I think they might end up in the middle of the standings.
3 more games are waiting for Talon and they should really give their best for these remaining games that they have under division 2. They're in the middle but it's the bottom middle.
If they happen not to the maintain their current standing, their position in the middle might be sniped by any of those two that are about to be eliminated.

One of the LCK teams and the finalist of Worlds 2021, DWG KIA decided to fill their Korean top plane player KHAN's place with Hoya as KHAN joined the army. I think that KHAN was the best top lane player in the world. It was really sad that his career ended because he had to join the army. DWG KIA would feel his absence.
