They've proven themselves that they're not just the kings of the SEA but they're good also in the international stage. I can't wait to see them compete with other international competitions too. And hopefully that they'll get more DPC and have a secured slot in the TI soon.
We're all fans now of Boom when they've shuffled their roster and still a lot of tournaments to come, minors and majors.
Seeing currently on their recent performance which do really shows up that they could really able to compete out but i have doubts on the time they had beat out Secret is that they are just still hiding their true
tactics or gameplays with the recent gamers galaxy invitational match which it might not be that their full proper gameplay but well it is just a hunch or doubt but overall they did really good
on this tournament on which it did really result into good impressions on the team.
I don't know about that but Team Secret is always competitive even in small tournaments like this. They've won against them twice and that's no doubt that they were able to beat Team Secret with all of their force and talents. Maybe after another update, there's going to be a big change and Team Secret would look into that matter if there's an update that they can take advantage of it. Updates really are making changes not just for players but for the whole team if they see an interesting one that shall make use of it for them to step up.

Still unbelievable how G2 lost to Mouz eSports, who had previously lost to Entropiq and NIP. G2 looked clueless in both maps, just running into the opponents without any strats. G2 needs a better IGL.

I agree sometimes we can't help but think about certain teams having mediocre performance on third party tournaments as there's just not much incentive to place at the top aside from the prize money. Unlike in DPC matches where it's basically the path to getting qualified to another major then eventually the TI. Can't wait for the next regional tournaments next week and also looking forward to the teams that'll qualify from the Open Qualifiers.  Cheesy
This is true.

When it comes to tournaments that are distributing DPC points for top placers, they're trying their best to at least get the top place so that they'll have the DPC points.

But in fairness for the team of Boom Esports, upon checking the rankings, they are currently at 6 place to have the most DPC points. While OG and Team Secret needs to collect more.

Here's the current rankings on DPC
https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Dota_Pro_Circuit/2021-22/Rankings

You would see several teams had already secured their places but it is still subject to change since TI is still far away.

Tims does only have a small hero pool but execution of plays as pos 4 is really totally good and they wont able to snatch out some tournament if Yopaj and Jacky isnt there.
It isnt just 1-2 man contribution but in overall 5 man team does really made their positions and roles pretty well which it did really result into this.
They beat up those powerhouse teams which we know that it is hard to beat up by a SEA team but they had prove it wrong.
I don't think that he's got a small hero pool. But he's one of the most versatile and pos 4 that has a lot of hero pools and all of them can be played by him very well. It's a group and team effort so there's no need for any argument with that because all of them are good and strong and with the team coordination, well done. There are teams that have the best players but they don't have much coordination and they're not considered strong as a team.
We do even see powerhouse teams which had been composed off some allstars members but didnt end up well or doesnt really make any good on majors or even in TI.
With this new roster of Boom esports then lots had already speculated that they might really be having a shot on competing with good teams or top tier teams
on upcoming internationals which im also excited to look on to.

Nine teams competed for a share of a 1 million Emirati dirham prize pool. Finally Boom eSports won the Gamers Galaxy Championship. Tundra turned to be the runner up. It was a close match with a agression from Tundra at the beginning and the same is taken credit by the Boom eSports at the end. Also from the beginning of the championship there is no prediction about Boom eSports winning it against the European based teams. Now Philippines based Boom eSports have made the prediction wrong. Earlier Boom lost to Tundra in the first stage which is also a reason for massive support for Tundra.

Unexpected now happens because imagine they beat one of the top teams and they become the champions after Tims came from tnc and become free agent already the boom esports catching this player because he has a good play style imagine having a good position 4 to your team and now here they comes he's one of the winner in this tournament, i thought the TNC, and FNATIC makes a good play this time they need to make some adjustment like the team secret does.

Tims is one of the incredible pos 4 in the whole SEA that's why if have a chance notail will get this man as their position 4, also most of the game today of yopaj there's no throw at the first game its hard to their team with the initiate of the Tundra but they can make it  to the game 2 immediately but again they crash with the unexpected comeback of the DP, tide and FV. after they saw the potential of the hoodwink in the previous games they give it to tims even though its squishy with the initiate of the brew, and HK the razor can easily create a damage with TA.
They could really simply make out some adjustments depending on the situation. It is a more trial and error. Tundra is really putting so much trust on Nine but that last or game 5 game on which he do make use of Jakiro
was indeed just like some sort of throwing the game. How they do consider out on picking it up if tendency that it would really be just squishy on mid/late game?
Yopaj is versatile on which even he is really that outfarmed but still could able to find out ways to cope up.

So Nip over Fnatic, recent history is better for them.  I was sad to see Smooya fail to capitalize with this team apparently it didnt mix well enough for them.
Mouz over Entropiq against better history and they already won once vs them
Then easiest choice is G2 over the Aussie team should occur in G2 favour 90% of the time  (The odds I see are 99% roughly, thats really bad value might have to skip it)
They are playing right now in the ESL Pro League XV and are dominating the Australian team in the first match to kick off this tournament with the big name teams.
There are two more matches left to play for today and continues on over the next couple of weeks.

That's exactly why DOTA 2 is still one of the most popular online games these days especially in South East Asia regions, you can always see a lot of gamers playing DOTA 2 with different age brackets. Bringing a new patch or updates makes the game more interesting as there will be some new twist of items/skills or combo than can defy stronger heroes before the patch.
I used to play this game way back when it is just DOTA 1 until it became DOTA2 and that was when I'm still studying but now, I can only afford to watch livestreams when I have some time because I have a lot more things to do than playing.
I thought before that updates were useless and not needed but I've come to understand that it's one important feature and factor when we play.

It adds up to the strategy that we're coming up so that everyone is going to build new meta and strategies from those updates and changes that has been made.

By the way, Gamers Galaxy champ is Boom Esports.
Just seen the video on youtube of the win for Gamers Galaxy championship in Dubai and it was indeed Boom Esports.
Thanks Sunsilk for the update.
Here is the video for those who want to watch the grand final match as it was skimmed down a bit for time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJVR21IeEEM
You're welcome.

That was a great run for Boom Esports and for skem, their captain. 4 years ago, he has almost given up of playing dota 2 because he's not achieving anything.

But ever since he's with yopaj, from Neon to Boom Esports. They've performed very well and has achieved a lot of things and tournament championships already.

Boom isn't a PH-based team. Its manager and 3 players are Filipinos but it doesn't mean that they're a PH-based team. Based on liquipedia, they're an Indonesian based esports organization: https://liquipedia.net/dota2/BOOM_Esports

Yep, Boom Esports is former Boom ID they rebrand to accept international players to improve there roster. But they only become famous internationally during this current roster. The organization is based on Indonesia but most of there players is playing in the Philippines so technically they are indeed currently located in the PH since most of there players and supporters is here.  Cheesy
Well, I'd say that okay. It's just a basing so there's no big deal with that and what's important is that this current roster that they have is dominating the world stage.
I'm just wishing that the Boom management won't just release these players that they have. They've made good relationship and chemistry altogether and watching some videos of them makes them comfortable to each other as they bond.

EDG vs AL (Ex Rogue Warriors) starts in a few minutes and i'll be taking EDG -1.5, EDG lost in their last match vs RNG but they still have a solid record when it comes to facing teams that are currently in the bottom half of the standings. AL can still get a map as they're able to do against some of the top teams like LNG and RNG but I think EDG is consistent enough to not make these careless mistakes and drop a map against weaker oppositions.

It usually depends because most of the time they're just fixing some bugs or sometimes upgrading some graphics on the map, just some minor adjustments that needs update so that gameplay will be more smooth to the players.
But the most important ones are those who got some upgrade on skills or items, so if you didn't play just a day or two after the patch then you're more likely getting bullied in the game until you adjusted to it.

They deserved to be the champion, and they got a revenge for the Tundra for dropping them in the lower bracket.
