Three wins in a row, while my picks on the other thread aren't having that much luck, unfortunately. Moving on to some more VCS this is the last week of the winter season and today Burst the Sky will be facing one of the weakest team which is Team Flash. They only have two games left and their other match is against Cerberus, the best team in their region which means a win is very unlikely, they can't afford to lose and drop a map as Saigon Buffalo is also in a tough position facing two of the top teams.

Smooth win on the Fnatic pick, watched Talon play against Nigma Galaxy earlier and with the way they're playing, I think they might end up in the middle of the standings.

Backing Team Spirit -1.5 as they face PuckChamp, not much reasoning on this pick aside from gut feeling. Both teams looking good but Team Spirit have the upper hand since they've been playing together longer than most of the teams but still anything can happen as we see so many favorites losing the series they're supposed to win.

I don't like the slate of games today but i'll give Fnatic -1.5 a shot since TNC is still in no mans land and Fnatic only played one series so far with their new roster.

Now they're facing a weaker team and I think this will be the testing ground to see if they have what it takes to compete against the top of the division since a lot of people have high expectations in this roster.

Already mentioned this few days ago and I still think it's a solid pick since the odds didn't move as much Tundra -1.5 as long as Miracle is out I don't think Nigma Galaxy would be able to get a map against Tundra after dominating their first opponent with the same draft.
You're actually right with your analysis.

No miracle, no win against Tundra.

When he's back, then that would probably the good time to bet for Nigma. And on his latest tweet, he said that he's going to be back against OG.

That's also hard to think of on which team we'll be betting by that time. OG's new roster is also good.

Had the same bet and watched whole match. We were very lucky today on the first map. Polaris was down all the time and they looked like it is all over several times. Not sure any more but we are talking 2 lines of barracks and 20k or even more (I think they lost 3rd line as well) and then they managed to turn it all around with couple of great fights. Also had Hydra ML which went well but CS:GO has been my undoing one more time (Eternal Fire ML).
Yeah, that first game was crazy, I already crossed them out when they're down by more than 10k since 496's power spike with the razor looked overwhelming as they kept on losing engagement after engagement.

Going for a small punt on this pick Polaris -1.5 @1.49 vs 496 Gaming, Polaris took down one of the best teams in their division which is Talon.

I honestly think they're in a decent position to take one of the promotional spot for Division 1 with the way they're playing at the moment and should win 2-0 against 496 Gaming since they're already 0-2 and haven't taken a map against their opponents.

Actually Polaris is of the strong team on SEA before talon was Form. If I remember correctly, They are the one who fight on the Grand final match on the latest SEA tournament before DPC starts. They just become an underdog again after TNC roster distribute on different team like Boom Esports and Talon. I'm not surprised that they sweep talon since talon is still adjusting because of there complete set of new roster. Also Gabbi is still not showing an impressive game maybe because he was on vacation for a long time after TNC didn't make on TI.

Betting on dota, I can aim for winrate based on draft or even with just pre-match bet. But on csgo, we have to be very strict with the risk and reward ratio. I learned it since the online season of CSGO, but will it stay the same in LAN season?
I bet also on both and it's easier for me to go more for Dota instead of CSGO. There's this vital part in CSGO that we don't have to let go upon analyzing which team to bet.

Whilst in Dota 2, you can look at the roster changes which is one factor but it doesn't totally depict who's going to win. There are underdog teams that are winning against a Tier 1 team with TI winners and placers.

On their match between the astralis and vitality, I thought they will handle the game but again the vitality manage to win the rounds and unexpected shots, on the finals against the Navi I didn't watch the game but I didnt except the Astralis didn't manage those game play like their championship, unlike the dota 2 they change their roosters mostly than the CSGO. It's more riskier to bet with dota nowadays because of the match-fixing recently used.
That's because CSGO barely has an actual off-season as there are so many scheduled tournaments with different point systems, so some teams are forced to announce new players just a few days after the tournament while DOTA only has the DPC leagues where there's a lot of time to pick and choose after TI ends.

For me, it's the other way around I still think CSGO is more risker as it's frustrating to see certain teams throw their leads or push the match into overtime before closing it out.

Gambit over Faze is most likely, I reckon Fnatic should take BIG if they keep up their best performance and Nip over Liquid though Liquid beating Astralis is good its partly because Astralis is in a struggle seems like right now.
-snip-
Astralis were looking pretty good in Blast Premier Final, but I guess they were just on fire and the other teams are under pressure from the crowd  Grin. Now back to normal performance  Huh

I'm also excited to watch the new roster of OG. Notail is known best for scouting new talents, the way he scouted and discovered ana and topson, there must be something with OGs new roster.
We'll see though, I don't want to be negative but I still remember their trial run with OG Seed and unfortunately, it didn't work out.
Yeah, I remember OG.Seed. They've parted ways with them eventually but they've been with the seed while the main roster of OG has been there playing together.

This time, it's a complete new roster and with notail and probably ceb on their backs as their coach and analyst. I think topson would also help these new roster of theirs basically as another coach of theirs. So it would be the retired original roster to coach these new lads.

On November 30, 2021, we'll see their first match against the new roster of Team Secret too. I'm not expecting a lot with the first few games.

We know OG is one of the dominating teams from previous years but this new member of the OG is so strong imagine the 16 years old player of the OG gives a good shot against the team secret and they make some trash-talk with their interview previously on the DPC i guess they are now earning a good points for their next International if they might get a good complexity this is another time for the OG to win the Ti.

I think hardest game to call tomorrow will be Vitality vs G2.   I'll bet 3 maps on that in the main I think, they should be able to challenge each other that much.
Gambit over Faze is most likely, I reckon Fnatic should take BIG if they keep up their best performance and Nip over Liquid though Liquid beating Astralis is good its partly because Astralis is in a struggle seems like right now.

On all of those I wonder if just betting 3 maps is more of a consistent gain then the imprecise guess of performance on the day, they are all close enough to be 3 maps seems like.

Damn, this IEM tournament is hard to get correct. I lost all my initial bets and decided to mix it up a little and go against my gut since it is obviously not tuned to CS. My gut was telling me NIP and BIG should win so I placed a bet on their opponents to take at least a map for high stake and ML for low stake. One map is in the pocket on both matches so it already proved profitable and I got at least some money back to replenish my bank.

I think I will skip rest of the tournament or go against the favorites all to the end.

Damn, we are on opposite sides of Empire-Gambit match. I just never liked Empire and my bets always go against them Smiley They are one of those teams that never properly sat with me.
It looks like you're on the money, Empire shit the bed on both matches and Gambit smoothly controlled the lead throughout the series.
Moving on to the IEM tournament, locked in this 3 team parlay between BIG, Gambit, and Fnatic slightly worried on the side of BIG but i'm very confident on the other two though. What do you guys think?
I do like your selections for the IEM tournament. I had Heroic winning on a betslip which died earlier on so them not winning their first map didn't matter anymore to me. So going to focus on the following matches for the remainder of today with this acca:

The first match has started already so going to watch it live in a few minutes.

Also surprised to see Team Liquid still competing while they announced during the Blast Premier final they were disbanding due to their personal differences.
They will be officially going their separate ways by the end of the year from what I gathered watching the interview with Elige:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVH5U90-gKc

Good video to watch if you are interested to know the specific reasons why they have been struggling as of last year.

I'll be backing Team Empire vs Gambit, we haven't seen the performance of the new Gambit squad but I think Team Empire should come out on top knowing they put up a good performance on the D2CL these past few weeks.

Good thing that Sportsbet also has Betsy so that I could boost my stakes on the other side since i've been hitting their limits recently.  Cheesy

Waiting now for second map of Boom vs. Neon, have Boom -1.5 in this one. First map was easy for Boom but drafts for second map look like it will be much tighter second map. That is on the same ticket as Gambit for me.

Also have a very small bet (BO1) on IEM Winter matches but they have some technical problems at the moment and both matches are paused.

Some big matches yesterday with the ones I placed bets on which were in the Blast fall series finals.
The big teams stepped up and showed why they were there with a solid win for Astralis vs Heroic.
So it comes down to this match to see who will face Na'vi in the final later on today.
Here is the match where I put in my bet on Astralis:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/counter-strike/blast-cs-go/blast-premier-series/team-vitality-vs-astralis-61a2e167fbdae0849d85d809
Just about 3 1/2 hours left til this match begins so there is still time to place your bets on the Blast Premier finals.

If you watched them yesterday night in Copenhagen then you know they absolutely played lights out on map 2 with a 16-4 win to make it this far to face Team Vitality.
