I feel like there's some type curse on me  Tongue every pick i've shared these past few days lost EDG, Rogue then Elephant.

There's not many good matches on this day but hopefully this next pick breaks my streak.  Cheesy

If Stewie2k who is a top-tier CS:GO player decides to make the switch to valorant then I would expect a migration of others who want to follow his lead.
Especially if they have a better schedule and most certainly a paid increase. Who wouldn't.
Knowing how Riot games manage their competitive scene on League we're likely going to see more players switch in the future.

Have you guys seen the recent announcement of Stewie2K on his possible shifting from CSGO to Valorant? What do you guys think would be the effect on this on the CSGO scene if this change happens in the future? With that in mind, I do think that if he does continue with his plan of switching, this would also enable most players from the CSGO competitive scene to decide on switching to Valorant. With a player of his caliber, I do think that he will be able to adapt quickly with this set-up.

If you guys are curious about this discussion, feel free to check this link here: https://www.oneesports.gg/valorant/stewie2k-teases-switch-to-valorant/?fbclid=IwAR3pxV70NGqNNNIoz2qnRWufH6qvGAroqbTkhcN_e-s9k6w9vc8Bl76nv6M
There was some discussion on how people wanted to see some lines on valorant being available on a sportsbet chat yesterday, and now I see why. Wink

With the League playoffs underway I just want to share my 2 leg parlay between DK and Rogue @2.45 Damwon already finished their job with a 3-0 win against Nongshim the first two map was a one sided win while the third map was a bit of a rollercoaster. Excited to watch Rogue later, I know they lost to Mad lions twice in a row during the spring playoffs but this series is a good way to redeem themselves plus the worlds qualifications is on the line.

Edit : Yikes Rogue got swept and threw so hard on the third map, Mad lions is on another level with their team fight engagements.

Looks to be Heroic who are the ones to keep their unbeaten streak intact with their match against ENCE.
Vitality is a strong team this season the ESL so expect them to go far in this year's tournament.

The favorites will win their group stage matches later on today so you can place a wager on them all here for a good parlay bet:

ESL Pro league is good to see who are the winners and losers of this tournament very early on.
There are two teams who are 0-3: Team Spirit and the bad news bears.
They are facing off with eachother but are just playing for pride at this point to get atleast one win before leaving.

The stronger sides from watching a few matches were Astralis and Heroic who haven't dropped a match yet.

ESL Pro league has begun. Thanks to ralle14 for the mention of the new season starting.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/counter-strike/esl-cs-go/esl-pro-league/matches

They should be playing all matches on LAN by now so they should be a bit more predictable then last season.

Dota pit grand finals starts within a few hours, my pick is [email protected] both teams looked great throughout the tournament, LGD had a tough start but they're able to make it work after taking down teams in the lower bracket while Elephant looked solid overall they dropped a map here and there but always secure the win. This series is close as it gets basically the rematch from dota pit season 4.

ESL pro league is also scheduled to start today but haven't made any picks though. I might edit this later if I see a pick worth taking.

That's another win as IG pulled off the reverse sweep, with that win there's going to be another set of matches the three way tiebreaker will start then the upper bracket matches will follow.

I'll take my chances on [email protected] not much analysis this time other than a gut pick since this is just a best of 1 if it was a best of 3 I might've switch to the over.

And there's a lot of league matches scheduled tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that specifically the LPL playoffs.

Clean 2-0 win from Elephant yesterday, moving on to the final day of the group stage i'm liking IG+1.5 vs Aster. The odds for this match seems about right but i'm seeing a bit of value on the side of IG since they could push this to three maps. At the same time this is a decider match for the round 2 seed, hopefully they'd make it somewhat close. Also interesting to see the handicap odds on betsy is somewhat better even with boosted odds.

Dota is the only interesting matches scheduled for today so i'll go for dotapit and take the chance on [email protected](boosted) h2h results is on the side of VG but I feel like they're due for a win since they've met several times already. I'm relying on Elephant's recent form after they've qualified from the TI qualifiers. On top of that this match will decide the round 2 seed since there's a potential three way tiebreaker if Elephant loses and assuming VG wins their last game against Aries.

Also Navi made an announcement about their players(ramzes, mag, rodjer) going inactive after they failed in the TI qualifiers.

Final match in the WePlay tournament today to end it, then we can get back to normal with the big professional teams starting tomorrow.
Fnatic rising seem like the favorites before but now it is Navi in these match up. So we will see later on today.

WePlay tournament is showing just the one match available to bet on so far:
That match is close to a coinflip but i'm leaning on VP.Prodigy since they have the slightly better odds and both of them don't look that great.
The odds have changed in Astralis Talent's favor last I looked from last night. They were nearly even but now @1.76x they look to be the favorites in these semis.
I'll put my few litoshis on them to win this and then go on to face Fnatic rising in the finals. Wink
The tournament has only today (in the next 1.5 hours) and tomorrow left, so pick your favorite amateur team to win here:

I don't know what to say for all the ones who love overwatch and say that it is above valorant.
It is just progression and video game players interests move on to the next iteration of a game which is somewhat similar even if it is a blatant rip-off. Cheesy
So all I can say is:
To each their own! Wink
Same goes for apex legends even though the competitive scene isn't thriving as much I think all of these games are great in their own way but when it comes to managing tournaments Riot does things much better compared to Valve. The only downside in Riot's management is that there's less third party tournaments but in return every player is getting paid nicely and doesn't have to rely on the prize pool.

The winner of this match will face off Navi Junior for the next one scheduled the very same day.
Then the finals on Sunday August 8th with the winner of that match who will face off against Fnatic Rising.

As someone who played CSGO for around 1550 hours, I would say that Valorant has some interesting aspects that sparked the interests of most players.

Counter Strike has been around for years. It has also been tagged as the King of FPS since its popularity is widespread throughout the years. Many FPS have attempted to re-create the same atmosphere that CS offered but they somehow failed to manage to encapsulate the audience with it. Now comes Valorant with the same fundamentals and skill but Riot introduced 'Agents' in which the latter offered respective unique abilities.

At the end of the day, my heart will always be at CSGO but the mechanics introduced by Valorant makes me want to play it more.
Dude, what Valorant offers is nothing new because it has been seen already, Overwatch I think did it first with different skill set like what those Agents in Valorant has. I don't think no one is going to be able to replicate the experience of CS, it has been a nostalgia overdrive for many and young players are also getting in it.

Weplay Academy league play is coming to end as the tournament ran through July 19 - August 8th.
It seemed the favorites are starting to win all their matches as I noticed from the start most of the underdogs did.
Atleast now we are beginning to see which players are more likely to be signed up with their parent teams to the main rosters. Smiley

WePlay Academy tournament had been good to bet on for me since the very start. Had my first bet at over 5.40x on one team in a parlay win back then.
Managed to get a solid win yesterday. As I had been following the tournament from the very start of it and had seen where the team's rosters had been going. The sub for VP Prodigy really made the difference. The new member on their team named MistR really did stand out and is actually going to be a permanent member start on August 1 according to his twitter. Wink

Today, OMG is facing one of the weakest teams in the league and I think there's some value in their -1.5 handicap given that every other team manage to keep a clean win against V5.

Also they manage to sweep other teams in the bottom of the table (RW, UP, TT) and they have to get a 2-0 if they want to get ahead in the potential tiebreakers.
Ah, this is League play. Smiley
After looking at your betslip I had to do some searching on these teams ans came up with this video from back in 2019.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao-5ArS3xEk

Did it win?

I have been putting all my focus on CS GO Academy league this week sine it is done on August 1st.
Some really good talent the main teams can take on to their rosters once the tournament is over.
