Evil Geniuses create a 15-man csgo team 👀 https://www.hltv.org/news/33953/eg-sign-carpe-diem-party-astronauts-rosters-announce-plans-to-create-fluid-15-man-team

NA scene is full surprises

anyway, official dates for Dota Pro Circuit Tour 3-Div I are out so i've updated the Calendar in the OP

Also on the competitive side of league, i've read some rumors about the summer split (LCK, LCS, LEC) starting around mid-june (15-18).
LEC and LCS are pretty much confirmed. LPL and LCK taking their sweet time to announce dates, as always

There's now an update of the schedules for the upcoming The International - 2022 for Dota 2 that will be held in Singapore.

The first schedule is for the last chance for the qualifiers and there will be 20 teams that will enter the playoffs. Well, if I'm still free, I would have booked a flight and ticket on this TI.

Everyone who's been a fan of Dota 2 and wants to watch the hype as the LAN has been back again after a long time due to covid restrictions would do something to be on the Suntec Arena watching it live.

Okay I get it. There  will be a total of 30 teams headed to Singapore for this year's The International. I think there will be more fun in this event. More chances for the teams to qualify as even the 2nd and 3rd in the regional qualifiers can still made it to Singapore in order to battle it out for the last 2 spots.

But before we get too excited on this, let's get to Arlington Major and its regional qualifiers first.

for me, there's something about current NiP that doesn't inspire confidence (like the're overperforming). i can't quite put my finger on it... Regardless, i'm with you on Cloud9, they are a far cry from that Gambit that we were used to seeing in the top 3 ranks
Unfortunately they couldn't take the first map, I agree with you NiP's rank seems way too inflated as there are so many teams that could beat them on any given day.

i was thinking G2 - Vitality over maps, but both teams are a tragedy lately, sometimes they look tier 1 pro players, sometimes they're making gold nova rank plays that make me want to punch my monitor  Cheesy

I totally agree with what you said. Neither team is showing any clear momentum. Sometimes they work wonders as you said, and sometimes they can't make a decent game at all. I mostly observe this in G2. That's why I see vitality close for this match 2.09 odds seem attractive. G2-Astralis had a bit of a hard time beating, I think they lost the dust 2 map. He beat Vitality-Mouz very easily and I embraced their game more.

I don't get how Cloud9 is so favored against NiP when they got smacked 2-0 by FURIA, it feels much closer than the odds suggest so i'm going with the over 2.5 @1.99. NiP handled Complexity as expected but Cloud9 is underperforming again. Then again NiP still missing their IGL so that might be enough of a factor for Cloud9 to have the edge but I don't think they should be as low as 1.50. With that said i'm hoping both teams win their map pick pushing the series to a decider.

off a to a good start in IEM Dallas... odds were too good for ENCE who are ranked #3 in the world against Mouz who have been crap lately

i'll start giving out more tips soon, need some more wins to gain more confidence after a shaky run in LoL MSI lol

The odds that the bookmaker gave for Ence are very good. I have a little time to follow the IEM dallas tournament. There is still a 5-6 day period until the end of the tournament. You made a good opening with 1.90 odds, if I had seen it, I would definitely bet this odds for ENCE. What I'm wondering is, it will be a good fight between Faze and Ence, which will be the upper final match. No matter how close I am to Faze, I foresee it as a surprise since the Ence team is also doing very well. I'll probably place my bet on Ence.

I took the same pick  Cheesy, later i'm thinking of making a parlay between BIG and Vitality, BIG performed okay against NiP and Vitality took care of Astralis then struggled against the major champs though.

If jerax remains on pro, what team could probably adopt him?
Probably none to be honest since most of the teams already locked in their players. At the same time, I think Jerax needs more time to bring back his old form or maybe focus on the position 5 role even more given the rough coordination they've shown during the major. If he decides to join a team and plan to participate in TI this year I guess it'll be a stack coming from the open qualifiers of the third tour.

Nice bet! Congratulations! By the way, maybe you remember what odds there were for an exact score of 3-2 for the victory of T1 and RNG? My thought is that if you were sure that the final score would be 3-2, then it might be profitable to make two bets - one for T1 to win with a score of 3-2, and the second for RNG to win with the same score?
I think the correct score for RNG was 3.8 odds or something and 3-2 T1 was a bit slower, but don't quote me on that

thing about those two bets is that you're risking a few units or mbtc (say 2mbtc in total, 1mbtc for each correct score) and in return you'll get about the same payout that you'd get with the Over 4.5 where you're only risking one unit (or 1 mbtc, for example). Plus, if the match ends 3-1 for either team, i would've lost just 1mbtc with the Over Maps ticket, whereas with two Correct Scores tickets i would've lost more

i enjoy the banter between G2 and KR teams, but i'm getting sick and tired of watching G2 getting deleted by kr teams ;P

RNG - T1 went to game 5 and and my last MSI ticket won, so my LoL season ends on a high note  Smiley

And RNG wins the whole thing. They were relentless throughout the whole tournament, they deserve it

now, looking forward to more CSGO action with IEM Dallas starting tomorrow

I've heard the rumor that it's Fly going back there but still, that remains a rumor.
It's official now, I can't believe Fly went back to EG after hearing his experience during the that one dota podcast between sunsfan and synderen. Then again, I can't blame him for going back since they meshed really well.
Yeah, I've seen the official announcement so that rumor was right. He's not fit with the play style of sea players and he should do better going back with EG.

The tandem of cr1t and fly is better than with jerax. Sad to say that but that's the reality and jerax's play style is irreplaceable together with the OG roster that he's been with.

If jerax remains on pro, what team could probably adopt him?

That grand finals between RNG and SKT was an interesting back and forth though, that last game felt like the outcome was already decided after the drafting phase since some of the matchups were similar to game 1 and game 3 where RNG came out on top.

I watched all 5 games today and was satisfied (although I was rooting for SKT1) - it was real entertainment and not 3-0 in the semi-finals. There was some bad aftertaste from game 5 where Faker feeding and the map turned out to be one sided, but as I said it's still better than 3-0 and RNG really deserved the title after all those endless losses to SKT1.

As for G2, I can't blame them. They are also playing their best game of League for the most part, but they seem to fall off when faced with KR teams. :/

Aren't they on division 2? Well, they're going to kick a lot of teams from there.

Well getting back to 1st division is going to be easy but their main target would be to qualify for the TI and with Tundra, OG, GG, Team Liquid pretty much almost qualified, their chances are looking good because the only contenders left are Alliance and Team Secret. Anyway, Im going for Nigma -1.5 for every game they will have on 2nd division lol
They're qualified but I think that will go through hell just to be qualified. Looking at the points they've got, how many majors are there remaining? They should win most of the wins if there's still a two or three because they're far if a point basis.

But it's not the only option, they'll got to go with the qualifiers and I don't know if it's two or three teams will be qualified to go through the TI from there.

now i'm curious to see which position 5 EG decides to pick up after removing Jerax.

Kinda boring that we gotta wait for a week until we get some good matches in DOTA, pretty much nothing to bet on right now with all those open qualifiers to DPC.
Yup, their only way to TI is through the qualifiers since there's only one major left but it'll be tough since Team Secret might have the better chance of qualifying but we'll see how teams perform.

Also, Ramzes moved back to Virtus Pro and now i'm curious to see which position 5 EG decides to pick up after removing Jerax.
