we'll see a lot of favorites playing against each other in the playoffs, so i reckon the Over 2.5 maps is gonna hit a lot. 2-0's were pretty rare in the group stage, warming-up is pretty much over
Yup, can't wait for the "real stuff" to begin. Group stages are always open to a bit of calculation and maybe trying out some strange drafts. It doesn't really matter in the end if you drop several maps during group stage.

Just came home so I was not watching it but I believe we should have some tie breakers today. Waiting for the odds to go live....

Navi won the match 19-17 in overtime in the match played on the g2 and navi mirage map in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 matchups. [...]
Navi are not looking sharp lately,, they're still winning, sure, but they don't breeze through every game like they did a few months ago

I guess the Navi team is tired of winning now. I think they save the best games for good tournaments. And I think it's hard to expect them to always perform at the highest level. However, they still continue to win. I wonder what they will do against NIP today, of course Navi is the favorite team, but they can make a surprise in the NIP team, not a team to be underestimated.

from finishing in 2nd place in Leipzig Major, WePlay and Singapore Major to being the first team to get eliminated from Stockholm. End of an era for Evil Geniuses

One thing though, I have lost every single bet and parlay so far on this Major so apologizing ahead if this turns out to be another losing bet because I might have jinxed it  Roll Eyes
no jinx  Wink
and, to be fair, best-of-2 matches are really tricky, BO3 is where the real fun begins

Seems to me this major is very close and there is a lot of value in going against the favorits.

I was missing something to add to my morning 12:00 ticket so I took your tip. Sorry, that means it will probably loose Smiley

I took T1 +1.5, which should be safe and this game will probably end up as a draw. Now as I write this I am thinking I have to put something more on the draw. My last game is Bet Boom +1.5, don't know exactly why, but I always like playing against EG.
That opening game was super tight but good thing they closed it up in the last two rounds and congrats on the parlay win it seems like it ended up hitting.  Cheesy

On the Stockholm major, it's crazy how Group B results are so close that it might end up with a 4-way tie-breaker and the leading teams are just one game away from potentially ending up in that tiebreaker as well. That means we'll be getting more series than the five series scheduled for today.
Yeah it passed. Seems to me this major is very close and there is a lot of value in going against the favorits. So I am continuing in the same way today with a double:
Beastcoast +1,5 @1.52, seems to me they were better so far in the tournament and they need at least one map to guarantee lower bracket, EG needs clean sweep to have any chance. Meaning if beastcost wins map 1, EG could crumble and loose 2:0, if it weren't for that I would go for a draw.
OG vs. BB draw @2.10, seems like most probable result to me, probably decided in draft phase

This close score in ranks is due to dominant performance of Team Liquid an Team Spirit while Mind Games is already removed in there bracket. They are now just fighting for the position on UB and LB which means there's no pressure at all in there games. I'm surprised how Team Liquid both defeated by Thunder Awaken and TSM while they are much weaker compared to TS and GG that Team Liquid both sweep in there matches. Team Liquid loss on those 2 teams surely destroy a lot of parlay bets.

I've watched how ceb handles pos 5 and he's not really ideal on it. I agree that it should be johan instead of him and ceb is a perfect coach for them since that's where he's started. As ceb plays pos 5, he's not doing what a pos 5 must do. It's entirely different from the usual pos 5 that I've watched. He needs to take a break and sub with johan but maybe we'll see that he's going to prove all of us wrong.

I don't understand too why they let Ceb play on the position he is not comfortable while Notail is available and with them to play his original position. Ceb commit a lot of mistakes especially when saving there core heroes. OG now ranking on the bottom and probably might end up on lower bracket. They are lucky that EG has worst performance on this tournament which make them safe from elimination. I think EG is already over on this major since they are always out drafted in every game they made on this tournament.

RTZ and Abed is a good carry players, It's just there heroes is always heavy counter on all there matches.
I think it's Ceb that has volunteered to play for the team. There's no problem with that but it should really be notail that has played for them and ceb as the coach.
They both fit for their respective roles. Anyway, they are far from being eliminated on this group stages while on the other group, the group B. No team will be eliminated there because of the disqualification of MG and that's good for that group and advantage to all of them to enter the playoffs.

EG are a tragedy, didn't expect them to be on the verge of elimination so early. Same with Vitality in the PGL Major, 0-2 record and one loss away from getting KO

well, beastcoast put up a big fight against BB and T1, two teams that 2-0'd EG, so i wonder if Arteezy & co have what it takes to win tomorrow,, i kinda like beascoast +1.5 handicap @1.6. Anyone betting on this game?

Yeah I bet on this because honestly EG is pretty much broken right now, they have lost most of the games and only won a single map so far. It totally breaks their mentality because they came to this major as the top 1 team from the NA region but they cant even win a single game against any team so far

There's something wrong and it's all about their coach, Bulba. He's always like this. One more day remaining for the group stages and they're out. I don't think that even if they win their match tomorrow against beastcoast, they'll get in. Just no, it's points system if they just happen to have par with all of their matches then probably they have a good points. I guess they have to realize that problem and they'll go home with a 13th-14th place the same with Mind games, without any prize and DPC points.

In this match, G2's Hunter really played like a hunter, he tried to carry his team, but it wasn't enough. Boombl4 from the Navi team caught my attention, he played a bad game, but their team started to win the Navi match. The Navi team thus ended G2's six-game winning streak.

yeah i saw that. Devastating. First major for MG and this happens,, i'd still be crying if i were them tbh lol

They used up all their luck in the DPC EEU though. Literally 3 chances to get to Major and they won one of it but was disqualified even before playing a single game lol. This is going down as history if its one of those big EU team though but most probably will forget about this in a year because its MG  Roll Eyes

Alright Taking Liquid 2-0 against TSM for the next one, hope this one pays off for all of those previous lost bet lol

No hate to Bulba but yeah his draft is easy to predict and counter.

Aside from all those claims about their coach, NA region is pretty much the weakest region in the current Major if you look at the groups standing. Both EG and TSM from NA region is at the bottom of each group

Do you guys like Bulba? I really wanted EG to kick Bulba out and try for something new. He's been with EG for so long and they seemed to always choke especially in TI. Letting go on Fly was a good decision IMO but Bulba should've been included. Maybe management thought that EG is doing well because they always qualify in majors and is topping their region. But this is expected already. There is not much competition in NA.

No watching Group A top 1 game. Tundra's draft was impressive as they already took game 1. Let's see if Boom maintains that 1-1 in all their group games.

No hate to Bulba but yeah his draft is easy to predict and counter. We all know that he has very short list of hero pool especially for Abed. We don't know exactly what is the truth behind those draft, Is the players itself gave Bulba there kimited hero pool or Bulba has only limited strategy that can rival the current meta. I knew Bulba when he is playing on team Liquid. Maybe he is old enough to be on this meta same with Kuroky.

Anyone notice how bad EG right now. They are the only team who lose back to back on the opening day of group stage. They still picking storm spirit even though it's not working anymore. They only didn’t get it on game 2 against T1 when it was banned. I think there is really something wrong on there draft and the comment of the public about it since last year is now making me think that's right after all. Bulba gaming.
They were 0-4.

Their coach keeps on pushing storm spirit. It's not the first time that I've seen them too pushy with storm spirit, I think it's also a request of Abed to keep on playing with SS because it is his favorite hero.

Right now, I'm watching the 2nd game of T1(1) vs. OG (0).

Next to this game is T1 vs BC and then Boom vs EG.

As usual with the pick of bulba storm spirit for abed most of the tournament for EG has the Abed pick of storm even though there's a counter currently the update is the T1 got the 2-0 for the EG because they have a bad draft at the same time Viper offlane can easily rekt the Clock, Ta and the Phoenix and we know the LS gabbi can free farm also the OG offlane does not have a good play lvl 8 with no Arena. Currently watching with the EG and Boom I go for the EG 2-0 here.

Finally EG got there first victory on this ESL One major tournament with Storm Spirit in there line-up. I think they just want to prove that they can win Storm spirit despite how many bash they receive for using this here. EG is in better shape on Day2 and maybe they will finally change there draft this time around. JerAxmight be trolling Bulba to to keep SP draft until they win. Game 2 is on underway and its good to pick +0.5 for Boom with this match.

I don't know why bulba always picking the storm spirit for abed because since the last tournament for 5x straight they are letting abed to play this hero but still we know how aggressive he plays right , this time EG has a huge potential with this game. We can see that jerax knows his position play we saw his Witch doctor before keep making troll against the Boom too imagine WD can easily kill the mid QOP of Yopaj.

PGL Major Legends Stage is upon us! things are about to get more serious 🔥

reminder that the sportsbook 500casino is one of the few sites with active promos for this event, latest one is here and they have a fun one for the legends stage round 1: "S1mple to outfrag m0NESY in terms of AWP kills"

Nah they are confirmed to be on the playoff rounds for sure, Mind Games was disqualified because some of the players are not arriving on the venue due to the visa issue. That means everyone that is one group B is going to advance to the next stage. Speaking of losing though, OG lost two games today and EG finally managed to get a draw

The PGL Major is going to continue today and I like CPH Flames @1.47 vs BNE, CPH Flames' recent results look shaky but they went 3-0 during the major qualifiers while BNE had the tougher route. Their head-to-head favors BNE but I don't think it matters that much since CPH Flames improved a lot and are capable of keeping up against tougher opponents. It's still a best of 1 match but this is one of the easier matchups for CPH Flames since BNE is probably one of the weakest teams in the legends stage.

My last ticket got busted when Liquid won 2:0 against Gladiators. Really did not see this one coming and I don't remember when was the last time I saw bristtleback in the game before this.
I got fucked by Liquid as well, I didn't expect them to sweep GG since they're struggling a bit and GG did okay on the first day.

Lost 4, and I can't accept that OG loss lol. I already knew that Ceb will be a dead weight as pos 5 but I still magically believe that they can somehow post a solid performance despite lacking a proper support. They should have placed Johan in there and Ceb as coach and we can see a very promising OG but oh well Grin

It is always difficult to bet on these BO2 games, at least for me. It just throws off my feeling for the game and then it is also a mix of regions and we have to see how different styles of DOTA compare to each other in this patch. Tough time to bet on DOTA but I am doing it anyways. It is just so fun to watch and I managed to win enough of the bets to hover around positive 0. Should be much better when knockout games start.
