BOOM have been underperforming so far with five draws in the groups and no wins,, OG are coin flip tbh, could see this going to a game 3
I am also on over 2.5 in this game and I was on the same bet for first 2 games, so one just passed (don't give Prophet to Daxak, ever) and I still can't believe Spirit was unable to take at least one map. That was really surprising to me. Could not watch the game while working so I have no idea what happened there.

I just recently watch the replay beastcoast already sweep them and to the airport immediately. Torontotokyo is not performing well even on there match against Tundra yesterday. He is not playing the same performance before which makes TS early exit on this majors although they are not a fan of major tournament even before. They only win few majors tournament and surprisingly win the TI against PSG.Lgd. Yatoro is the only player that still consistent as pos1.

TORONTOTOKYO and Yatoro seemed to have taken their opponents lightly as seen on how they play their lanes. Also, beastcoast's lineup is very easy to counter: you have 1 self-sustaining offlane and a roaming support. Put pressure on that offlane by having a very mobile mid hero and an aggressive 5 position to always go on the offlane and see them wasting their teleports to rotate on the offlane. Beastcoast got away with that setup on game 1 and still TS didn't thought of banning that Tiny - Batrider that costed them the tournament.

Oh well, the guys from SA are very motivated and carried their lead very well. For sure other teams have already taken notes of their current meta in this tournament.

Im bit surprised for TS almost get that game 3 but that 33 is too damn good even on off pos.
TS were very underwhelming in the group stage, no signs of improvements in playoffs and this is the result: 2-0'd by no other than beastcoats and second team to be eliminated from the Major. Expected more from the last TI winners 🤔

Hoping OG will do it in a bit more relaxed way. Have OG ML on another ticket.

Got a rough night on my bet last night with Betboom and Team Spirit. I though they can beat Tunda and Thunder Awaken yet they are lose with a close fight. The 3rd game of Tundra and TS is very one sided due to Nine KOTL dominant performance. I was surprised how KOTL is now use as midlane on the current meta. Only Thunder Awaken and Betboom match is worthy to watch on all the 3 games. I enjoy watching even my bet is lose due to Betboom overconfidence on the last clash.

I really thought the momentum already shifted to Team Spirit after overcoming game 2 with Tundra. That game 2 was played 59 minutes and was discouraging for Tundra since they were actually winning before the tempo of the game started to change late game. That match was too energy consuming for the part of Tundra. But they showed toughness and schooled Team Spirit in game the deciding game.

Ang would you believe Team Spirit just lose again? They lost game 1 to beastcoast.

I was watching those set of games today and combined ENCE G2 and cloud9 as a win only about 3x together but worth having; also sidebet 3 maps for the ENCE game as it could be close.   Maybe I should cash out right now, I'll go look [yep I think so as ENCE greatly lead on Nuke which can be a biased map & I cant watch the entire game right now]

How in the hell did Cloud9 lose this one. The game should have never went into overtime on Overpass, and even there Cloud9 had the opportunity to just win game 1. Game 2 was decent, but then on Mirage I have no clue what happened. As th clear favourite how can Cloud9 lose 16-3? What a crazy game, Imperial did a good job picking them off out of position. And still I would have expected such a professional team like Cloud9 to adapt to the playsytle. I am glad I didn't went for a combi bet so I atleast recovered some of my losses with ENCE, but still this was really hard to watch.  Probably for today I will only put down a small bet on G2 vs Furia, Furia didn't have a good major so far and G2 should be winning this one. As for Copenhagen Flames vs Imperial Esports, not going to bet again Imperial again. I need a good bet for the finals or semi finals on the weekend to still turn this major into a good event.

Taking Heroic @1.60 odds are a bit juiced compared to the other books but i'll go with it since Stake got an insurance promo whenever teams head into overtime and two of Vitality's games went to OT. Even though Vitality manage to pull 2 bo3 wins in a row they still haven't been able to beat Heroic since last year. I'm hoping Heroic gets it done here as their map pool is also looking quite good compared to Vitality.

For the next tournament that they will participate, I just wish that LULBA will never do this and allow Abed to showcase his talent not just with a single hero pool.
It's likely for it to happen again since he's the coach of the team. Imo EG needs a better captain like bring back Fly or maybe get Fata since Bulba is becoming like the commander of the team.

EG is out!

They're just the same place as the DQed team.

It's unexpected that EG has to end this early, we all know that they're a tier 1 team and one of the strongest teams ever. But they didn't make it to the play offs.

Tier 1 team in NA Region, honestly they are pretty much nothing compared to the other region right now. I thought that the SA Region would probably be the weakest teams in this Major but EG that came out as the winner from NA Region DPC turned out to be the worst team after all
The same thoughts about SA region. I've thought that it's like a sure win for their opponent and I'm only expecting BC to be the strongest there. But look at Thunder Awaken! They're strong and breaking those wrong impressions about them and proved me wrong.

Its because of Bulba drafts. It do sucks that Abed do continously been given with Storm.

Better luck next time for EG and i do have doubts that this would create some change of roster.  Cheesy
Abed might be going SEA again? Possible.
True.

BB vs TA ongoing ...
What a second map between these two. TA had them for most of the game but then Furion with split push made it possible to enter ancient race and BetBoom managed to snatch a victory. I had over 2.5 on this one so money in the bank but it was a real close thing.

Hoping OG will do it in a bit more relaxed way. Have OG ML on another ticket.
Well, i lost already on 2nd match which BB lost to Thunder and that was unexpected for BB to lost 2nd time and the mistake is? They are really that making game on long duration
on where their cores do really able to make out some farm which their heroes are really for long game, they might able to get some advantage on early game
but when late game kicks in , you could really see the chances of losing if they havent able to lock them up on early phase in terms of farm.

PGL Antwerp major is going in the last phase soon, not many games left before the quarter finals on Thursday and Friday. Didn't have much time to watch the games this weekend and was really surprised to see Heroic beat G2 in overtime. For todays games I will only go for two obvious wins, G2 vs Outsiders - should be a good game for G2; and Cloud9 vs Imperial Esports - should be an easy win for Cloud9. ENCE vs Heroic looks like a very close match that could go either way, same for NiP vs Furia, not worth the risk in my opinion. Better to for easier matches and get some more money for the semi and final games on the weekend.

alright, folks, Stockholm playoffs bracket is live. My picks:  Tundra - Team Spirit  over 2.5  /  Thunder Awaken - BB  over 2.5  /  OG to win. Tundra feel unbeatable, but hopefully the Team spirit will go online during the playoffs, they looked a bit off in the groups

and PGL Major keeps delivering some good games, ENCE - Heroic and NIP - Furia are gonna be 🔥🔥 no bets here but i can see both going to a map 3 decider

Abed might be going SEA again? Possible.
Surely if EG want to rebuild they should to everything they can to keep Abed on the team, he's a great player, they should release Rtz and bulba instead

Made some parlay

Tundra
BB
OG

I agree it's not easy to find another good mid player like Abed. The unfortunate part on the side of EG is that RTZ and Bulba are the ones handling the team. While I was browsing one of the discussions thread related to EG's elimination from the major there was one comment that shared a timestamp of the podcast where Fly shared the story of how roster shuffles went on the side of EG. And from what I understand, RTZ and Bulba might have a bigger influence when it comes to removing players from their team.

One thing though, I have lost every single bet and parlay so far on this Major so apologizing ahead if this turns out to be another losing bet because I might have jinxed it  Roll Eyes
no jinx  Wink
and, to be fair, best-of-2 matches are really tricky, BO3 is where the real fun begins

Almost though lol. I honestly thought that I jinxed this after EG won the 1st map and that might have positive impact for their 2nd map. My first ticket that ended up winning lol, I honestly should look for some suggestion on this thread rather than betting on my own  Roll Eyes

Always take a wild bet if its good odds is something I would normally stick to but I saw Nip losing 1st map and also the start of the 2nd map first 5 or so rounds and left it.  They've come back won that 2nd map 14-16 and are again struggling on the 3rd but if I had taken 11x odds for Nip to win (people just run away cash out and odds get extreme) I could have cashed out even now while they struggle and made some easy money on a recovery.   Have to live and learn on that one for future games.   Navi do take the series most likely but they arent quite as flawless as last major and I already knew that, devils in the detail :p
