Skem seems to have a problem with his visa and the Stockholm majors is about to come. Well, this didn't happened for the first time and he's likely to be replaced by their coach, Mushi. If ever this won't be solved and he can't get in on time.
It looks like Skem will make it in time as he's able to secure his visa.

In addition to the news about the stand-ins, TSM will be playing with Quinn at the major i'm not sure which role he'll be filling in though since nothing was announced from the side of TSM.

That's nice to hear if he's able to make it on time. This is a solid Boom Esports then if he's able to make it. I also saw the news about Quinn that he'll play for TSM.
As for his position, based on liquipedia then he'll play for the mid lane/position 2. And bryle, who's the usual mid for this team will adjust for position 3/off lane. But yeah, let's still see how they're going to adjust.

didn't expect the PGL major to go almost unnoticed on this thread but here we are,, no matter, will keep giving free tips, i'm 3/3 wins so far and add another one to the list cos i forgot to post this bad boy earlier today

but tomorrow is all about ESL One Stockholm. ugh, the amount of games we'll have in Group Stage feels a bit overwhelming, 12 games per day, ffs man!  whatever, i'm going one ticket per match block (each block consists of 3 matches, so i'll pick one game). singles:

EG v Tundra   draw
beastcoast v BB   draw
Fnatic v TS   Team Spirit win
Thunder Awaken v Mind Games   TA win

Thanks for the advice!
No problem 👍

I’m surprised too when I saw this news tht Ceb is back since this will not gonna be good for OG because they will adjust again there play style to synchronize with Ceb or the other way around. Ceb is good but Misha is already comfortable to play with his team mates so we moght see an adjustment on OG games on the early stage of the majors.

Its an unfortunate stuff that normally happens nowadays especially when either of the players are Ukrainians or Russians though

Anyway lets start the day 1 with a 'fun' parlay because honestly I dont know which team to bet on during the first day, any shitty things could have happened either way in this 1st major

Took 6 combo bets parlay which consist of :

Boom vs BetBoom = BetBoom +0.5
OG vs Beastcoast = OG
EG vs T1 = EG
Beastcoast vs BetBoom = BetBoom
Team Liquid vs Thunder Awaken = Team Liquid
Fnatic vs Team Spirit = Team Spirit

Quinn can fill in the offlane role quite easily, although the effectiveness of him in such a role is highly debatable. He can adapt to other roles but he's more effective in the midlane if given the chance to have good drafts against the enemy.

OG's lineup is more interesting, though. Idk why they decided to let Ceb play 5 instead of N0tail when Misha had his visa issues. Dude's excellent in any roles except supporting, so maybe they are just out there for the lulz or idk. Nonetheless, I'd still bet on them on a game or two if I gauge that Ceb is there to play and not to troll.

By the way, which bookmaker is the most convenient for betting on this competition (as far as I understand, not everyone provides such an opportunity and the options in the line can be seriously different)?
if you're a casual player and you only bet in the popular markets (winner, total maps, etc), then Sportsbet.io with their daily price boost is a no brainer. If you want more markets (total drakes/barons, total inhibs, first blood, towers destroyed, etc), Thunderpick, Loot.bet and 500Casino are great choices. I'd go with the latter since they're pretty active here in btctalk

Thanks for the advice! I'm not a pro, so I'm more likely to bet on bo5 maps since you can always correct the game if something goes wrong, but I'm interested in looking at a wider line. Bets like first blood, number of inhibitors, etc. in my opinion, this is pure gambling (it is clear that supports are unlikely to make the first kill, but all this is taken into account in the odds, so betting on such an event is something like a coin toss).

Very interesting first two days of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 is already over. So far I really liked Vitality and G2, they both played good matches and are through the challengers stage already. As for todays matches there seem to be some good opportunities again. Astralis is playing against Team Spirit and should win that match easily. Even though Astralis is not the top team they were 2 years ago they still have a good roaster and are the clear favourite here. Another good game today should be Team Liquid vs Complexity Gaming, with Team Liquid winning this one. Complexity had a really bad start in this major with winning only 1 round against Vitality, such a demoralising defeat will make the game today even harder. I think Complexity won the least amount of rounds from any team in this Major so far. My last pick for today would be ENCE, they played really well so far and should win against Bad News Eagles.

Whilst for OG, misha also have the same problem so Ceb is in as position 5 while Notail is going to be their coach on the said major.

What a second map by ENCE against G2, could've been a clean win after that 7-1 lead, but still, masterclass from Spinx and they'll go to the decider. MSI games tomorrow are 0/10 in terms of value, imho, i'll just wait for the round 4 games in the PGL Major to place more bets

MSI 2022 is upon us. G2 to win their first game against EG at 1.6 odds is too good to pass up

in Antwerp the focus will be on ENCE - G2... this feels like a +2.5 maps match, doesn't it?

Ooh, good news! I love LOL tournaments. Here is a useful resource where you can view VODs of past games and get acquainted with general information and the tournament calendar. Just like that, PSG.LGD is most likely going to qualify for the next TI without even having to play against another team from the different region because they dominated the CN region. The minimum points to qualify for the last TI was 800 points so yeah they should be pretty much getting the tickets on their pocket already
One thing to note is that there's one less major during the previous season but I agree with you their direct invite should be secured at this point since there's little chance that the other 11 teams that'll receive the remaining invites gain at least 1400 DPC points. At this point, they're just playing for the seeding but that doesn't matter much since the format of the TI always starts with the group stages.

PSG won the series but the handicap ended up busting early due to another bad draft in the first map.

Didnt take any bet on this series because it seems pretty weird. Aster won 2-0 on the previous round against PSG.LGD then somehow they were beaten  3 straight games on the Final

Guess I'll wait for the Stockholm Major to bet

Anyway, look at the current DPC ranking

Imperial Sportsbet are off to a bad start in the Major,, predictable loss, but still, it stings, although it's just Round 1

G2 and Forze with their expected debut wins, now i just need Outsiders to beat MIBR and i'll start off this tournament with a decent parlay win (:

will try to post my picks for round 2. Anyone else watching the PGL Major?  EDIT* round 2 picks: forZe ml and COL + EF multi x1.6

Eternal Fire @1.80 since they should be more favored even though this is just a best of 1.
Kosovo cs versus Turkey cs... too unpredictable, decided to not pull the trigger on this one added ForZe @1.35 to my parlay. EF are a bit overrated i think, every time i see them play they're just not good enough

Does any one watch the match of Boom vs RNG? Again Somnus conquer the game this guy is always dominating the laning stage
Picking a DP against storm is very ideal game for the early game also their core AM can make a late game counter with Yopaj storn and PA and with the sustain of Abaddon pos 5 and this game 1 get with the RNG.

On the bright side, we have the RMR Challenger Stage scheduled for later today. Odds are mostly one-sided so instead of making a parlay, I went with a toss-up match which is Bad News Eagles vs Eternal Fire. Based on the teams these two fought during the qualifier stage Eternal Fire should have the edge since their groups are much tougher compared to what BNE went through to qualify so with that said i'll take Eternal Fire @1.80 since they should be more favored even though this is just a best of 1.

I always wanted wherever somnus is to get that slot for majors and mostly in TI.
Same here, they had some potential a while back with GodKing but yeah unfortunate things happened so they had to go with Ghost since he's from their secondary team.
It's not that late.

But, it's better that the earliest that they can, they're already part of the qualified teams that has enough DPC points. Anyway, they're still part of the 4 teams that will go to the Stockholm majors.

I just hope that they'll do better there.

PSG LGD ended up losing 2-0 to Aster yesterday, they played well but their drafting sucks going for Silencer IO as their duo support in the first map then Undying IO in the second map both supports lacking disables. While on the side of Aster their draft was straightforward going for at least two to three heroes with reliable stuns.

Later they'll be facing Xtreme and i'll go with the handicap @2.30 Xtreme was a bit sloppy during their series against RNG and I think there's a bit of value on the handicap since LGD just needs to draft properly instead of going for that weird lineup with minimal disables.
I also took PSG.LGD -1.5 but the odds dropped a little in the meantime @2.15. Seems to me that Aster sort of got into PSG head and they are making them play out of their comfort zone. I had +1.5 on Aster yesterday which passed easy and I expect PSG to win lower bracket final easy and then give much more in the rematch.

Felt bad for RNG.

Without Godking, they've been stomped on the DPC. I really think that they're one of the best if GK is with them but this is always the case. A new player comes in and the tournament is just on time.

They've got no enough time to practice and just play until they synchronize, still, good luck to this team. I always wanted wherever somnus is to get that slot for majors and mostly in TI.
