LPL finals about to start. RNG v TES. All i ask is a banger 🔥🔥 and also TES lifting the trophy  Grin

Yeah lesson learnt, its always safer to take over 2.5 for two evenly matched teams
and i did this today in a csgo game. Let's see if Astralis can put up a good fight

So that's why the tournament pages were taken down all of a sudden on liquipedia. Things looking pretty rough from Valve and the organizers for not clearing this up right away.

It seems that it has been cleared up, there was a scheduled match between OG vs GG for the tiebreaker but it was already cancelled and OG took the 1st spot while GG took the 2nd spot because of the head-to-head statistics. Pretty sure that this is going to be applied for the other region as well but we'll see how this goes as there is a match scheduled for BOOM vs Fnatic as well for the tiebreaker

That sucks. If there's a pick i prolly never take or at least try to avoid as much as possible is under maps, i'm just bad at picking unders in any type of sports

DPC SEA, there are 4 teams remaining and they're all in a tiebreaker. A good clutch can be seen there until the next day, 23.

Boom and Fnatic are fighting for first place but they're secured for the major. They'll be fighting on the said date for the DPC points and the prize.

Whilst for the battle for 3rd and 4th, this is a hard deciding tiebreaker. It's going to be T1 and Polaris, I'm more a fan of T1 since I like the team but Polaris is an underrated team and can beat them.

Anyway, lost my parlay bet because of this

I was kinda hoping either team could close the game with 2-0 but oh well

What a day! Top Esports beat V5 and will face RNG in the lpl Finals
I'm leaning early on RNG once again and for some reason whenever I watch these two teams clash with each other it's always TES with the disadvantage and RNG usually edges them out.
i'm going with TES moneyline. No analysis here, i'm a huge Top Esports and Knight fanboy, betting on your fav team it's a bad idea, but i've been in profit in LoL games thanks to TES, so...  Cheesy
I'll also take the over 4.5, could be a close series, no?

Valve changed the rules midway so there will be few tiebreakers games to decide the top spot as well as the bottom spot while the original rules stated that there wont be any tiebreaker because head-to-head statistic will be used as tiebreaker. Some teams feels Valve is being irresponsible by changing it midway but hey no complaint from viewers POV as I get to watch alot more games  Tongue

Valve should really get their rules and conditions straight before going into major tournaments and events because this will confuse a lot of organizations and teams that worked their asses off to get to where they are right now. It might be a lot of games to watch, but imagine teams getting drained because of how inconsistent Valve is with their ruling on things that decides whether a team will have a chance to play on big events or not.

Decisive week!!

Speaking of decisive week, it seems that there is a bit of an issue with the all the DPC League.

Virtus Pro qualified to the Major after a close series against sAw

And, Fnatic made a great comeback and beat T1 and qualified to ESL One Stockholm... And in a few hours, Quincy Crew v TSM will fight for one NA spot in the major. Decisive week!!

Careful with this bet, this is still Chinese Dotes so the result can be reverse in an instant especially that E-home manage to get 1 game against Xtreme gaming which is good team. I will go on +1.5 on them I were gonna bet on this guys because Ehome is not same on the last 2 teams on CN division unless they are up against LGD or RNG. Team Aster is a choker team and there’s a high chance that E-home can get the first match.
I agree these CN matches are tough to predict, a few days back Aster manage to beat Xtreme in a convincing fashion and now they're struggling against EHOME.

Later today Aster will be facing RNG and Aster is in a decent position to take the series and one of the main reason why they're favorites is because RNG's carry player have missed the last two series and they're playing with a stand in (Flyby) and his main role is offlane which could put RNG at a big disadvantage.

Yeah it's such a disappointment to watch. Good thing I didn't bet anything yet. A good rule of thumb for Chinese dota perhaps is to not bet when they are against themselves, but against other countries, you can bet on them with confidence. Learned my lesson on this one. Previous match history between the two teams state that Aster is the better team, but those 3 games showed that Ehome, despite having relatively unknown players, can go toe to toe (and even dominate) legends in a series.

Anyone on EHOME v Aster DPC? Not really betting anything but I feel like Aster -1.5 is a good value bet. EHOME as an org doesn't seem to be as much as powerful as they were before, and their previous games were shaky. Catching up to the meta perhaps, but this match against Aster, I don't think they'll get a map.

Planet and shiro are good pub players, but when it comes to tournaments, it's not a one-man effort to win, so it'll be very crucial for their teammates to contribute in order to win against the giants that is Aster.

Just an update on this match. E-Home indeed defeat Team Aster 2-1 as predicted. E-Home manage to reverse sweep Aster using SK and Pugna on both game 2 and 3. This is what I love on Chinese dotes especially on the middle tier team because they can turn around the odds once they completely get the tempo of the game. I hope that you didn’t bet on Aster on this match.

we also have HUGE game in the DPC WEU tomorrow, Tundra v Brame. If Tundra win they'll go to Major, but if Brame win do they go to a tiebreaker or what? 🤔
Brame won't gain anything if they win. Correct me with the calculations if I'm wrong but their points aren't enough. But they'll maintain their team into the division I if they win.

This is quite hard for Team Secret, they're going to watch if Tundra will replace them as the 4th placer and qualified team to the major. That's a hard feeling for Puppey and the gang.

Yeah Brame is already out of the Majors even if they win there match against Tundra but they can help Team Secret to force a tie breaker against Tundra for the 4th place. Team Secret performance is not good on this DPC tournament so I still preferred Tundra over Secret to go in Majors so that they can give a good fight to other team. Team Secret choke a lot on there recent matches and they are still adjusting on there current roster. Tundra is much better to Secret for that spot.
Looking at the stats record now, Tundra advances and Team Secret falls to 5 while Tundra is 3 which is tied with Team Liquid but they're already qualified for the major.

Last remaining match is with both teams that are already in for the major. GG and Team Liquid so whoever wins, they're fighting for the 2nd & 3rd place and as well as the DPC points.

Regardless of that, all of them are secured to Stockholm major.

surprised no one's talking about the Europe RMR European. Heroic just qualified to the Major after beating NaVi
Teams with a 2-1 record that could face each other in Round 4 tomorrow: NaVi, Vitality, Mouz, BIG or Faze, forze and sAw... this round is going to be 🔥🔥

I didn't expect that one coming, back to back upsets on the upper part of the groups, Faze looked off though as Twistzz underperformed during their series against BIG.

If Brame wins there's a three-way tiebreaker for the fourth place I remember that's how the tiebreaker works for the DPC tournaments that's why there's usually a tiebreaker match happening in every other region. Unfortunately, the map differentials don't matter so it sucks for some teams that tend to sweep weaker teams or take a map against stronger teams.

There will be tiebreaker with Secret and Tundra for the last spot for the Major. Even better if Entity ended up winning against OG, there will be 4 way tie breaker for the last major spot. Team Secret wasted their chances though, they would have gotten better chance for that Major if they win against Nigma

Anyway as for the Stockholm Major, it has been confirmed to be on 12th May and will be getting $500,000 prizepool. Details Here. Total of 18 teams including the EEU Region but Im not sure how the EEU teams are going to participate as their DPC is being postponed currently

Polaris has no longer any match left while T1 has still a match with Fnatic.

If Fnatic loses, nothing to lose.

If Fnatic wins, nothing to win.

If T1 wins, are they going to switch that 3rd slot on Stockholm major from Polaris through points, right?
Fnatic still has something to play for and that's the tiebreaker for the first place seeding plus the extra DPC points as there's a 160 DPC point difference between the first place and second place.

There's a possibility for a third-place tiebreaker if T1 loses the series but if they win then yup they get the last major slot.
Oh yes! I've forgot about it, thank you!

There's also one remaining game for Boom Esports. So, if it's about the placing for this tour 2 then one of them will be getting the highest DPC points for this tournament.

I have forgotten about the DPC points since I've been hyped by the Stockholm major and that's what I was looking at.
