Maybe Im biased too much to NBK but a good IGL can make all the difference as its an influence over 5 players not just reliance on 1 all-star.
experience is something new Mouz is gonna need and NBk can be provide that,, I'm interested to see how Bymas will develop with NBk a

taking about csgo, nitr0 returns to Liquid https://twitter.com/TeamLiquidCS/status/1482412270621761537

Just watched Gambit - Hydra game and seen 4 vs. 5 game for the first time in my DOTA life.
talk about ez money on gambit i meant hydra  Grin
did the bookies void the bets? they usually take into account the final result of the game and not what happened during the game unless they suspect there was some 322 involved in which case they'll void it asap

Huge downgrade after Ropz left, and dexter still on the team but they bench acor and sell ropz wtf?  Roll Eyes Mouz new roster looks does not look exciting at all, grim
Its true NBK on raw play is no Ropz he might not even be as good as his former self IDK but I was hoping he could sew the team together.
Maybe Im biased too much to NBK but a good IGL can make all the difference as its an influence over 5 players not just reliance on 1 all-star.   Perhaps he is just there to pick up a pay check and wont do any homework or even really guide the team as I imagine.   I doubt they will have initial success, but they could develop.  Mouz was often in times past an upset team (and so too good odds), discounted as not tier 1 but then at times able to beat any team in the scene.   Ideally they become able to do this again, either way its a story Im interested in but I'm biased to all the old French major winners as they all seem flawed greats to me.

Just watched Gambit - Hydra game and seen 4 vs. 5 game for the first time in my DOTA life. One gambit player left the game after 10 minutes and they continued playing as 4 and managing his hero a bit. After that it was just a matter of time for Hydra to take that 3rd map but Gambit gave them a good run and even had chances to maybe win the decider.

Mentioning it here so you know what happened if some bookies decide to void the bet.

Also, LEC is scheduled to start later today, looking forward to Vitality vs Mad Lions.
Vitality's roster kinda looks like a superteam,,Selfmade, carzzy, perkz, alphari... I'll take Vitality moneyline x1.5, seems a bit generous, i could totally see a stomp here, or maybe i'm underestimating Mad Lions? but losing carzzy and humanoid must've been a devastating blow... I see no value in the other games /edit* my dumb fav bookie is having issues with LoL, so i'll parlay G2 and Fnc on sportsbet for around same odds

Too bad Team Liquid won't play today in the LCS, another superteam i'm eager to see (Bwipo, Hans sama, bjergsen + corejj and NA viking Santorin)

I'm out of shape on Dota right now as I barely watch tier 2 and 3 teams as I barely have find during the nights but didn't we suppose to get a new hero after TI ? Or were false rumors ? Because as far as I know , 2 years in a row , we had 2 new heroes in Dota.

Well the new hero was Marci and it was launched a bit after TI. It was pretty OP and nerfed until its quite balanced right now

Anyway speaking of tier 2 and tier 3, we might get alot more tier 2 and 3 tournaments in the near future because the Winter Major is officially cancelled due to flight restriction because of covid. This enraged some players as their teams are currently on the top DPC spots to secure position for the Major, Sumail even tweeted that all players and teams should band together then stop joining the 2nd DPC

Source :Here

I'm not well informed on DPC points system worth but is tier 2 and 3 tournaments has a DPC points if they win? I thought only specific DPC tournaments has the points they can accumulate and most of the lower tier team has just for prize money alone. Anyway most of team participating on lower tier is coming from unknown background so the odds on most match in there has always very one-sided so its very boring to make a bet tih them unlike tier 1 tournaments.

Most of the team in my country doesn't get a hype anymore because they will compete outside the country but of course, it's better on the health protocols. It's better to keep safe than travelling on the other country and also it took time again before getting back here. Also a new variant shows up and feels sad that most of our favourite team's cannot make their new strategy that will give hype on us.

I went with Gen G -1.5 @1.67 for today, Gen G made a huge upgrade in their roster picking up Chovy and Peanut so there are high expectations coming from this roster and this should go 2-0 at the minimum since DRX looked bad on their opening match. In terms of individual performance, Gen G should be the better team the only question is if they could mesh things together on their first series.

Also, LEC is scheduled to start later today, looking forward to Vitality vs Mad Lions.

Tier 3 doesn't have points but tier 2 has and that's Division 1 of the DPC, division 2 doesn't have too and that's a tier 3 tournament and just a stepping stone for the div 2 teams to go up to div 1. Aside from those tournaments, the minor and major tournaments have the DPC points. But sadly, we're not going to have any major this time, Valve has canceled the upcoming major.

good value,, i was tempted but i lost all confident to place more tickets after losing a few in a row, there's just been some wild results : TES getting and DRX getting 2-0'd by weaker teams, RNG losing to FPX, LGD Gaming also losing in their debut, even in Dota...i think i'm gonna wait for the LEC, give the LCK and LPL teams some time to "stabilize"
I'm also eyeing TES initially but avoided them due to their handicap at 1.60, didn't see that loss coming as well.

Unfortunate news on the first major, meanwhile tournament organizers on the side of CSGO are successful with their LAN tournaments(IEM, Blast Premier).  Lips sealed

Just when new teams were close to qualifying the major then that happens, at least we're going to see a bunch of new upcoming teams get promoted to division 1.

A tier 3 tournament with $15,000 prizepool. Bitsler could easily sponsor a tournament with 1btc prizepool, not sure why they didnt do that yet to get better exposure for their site

https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Bitsler_Cup/1

Well atleast they managed to get few top SA teams that currently play in DPC SA division 1, thats kinda decent because I thought it would be filled with whatever random SA team because the prizepool is kinda small
yeah, prizepool is small, but the teams should be fine, they probably enjoy having more competitive games to prep for the big tournaments. But it's pretty nice to see a sportsbook you're familiar with getting involved in esports  Smiley  although i barely use bitsler lol

Liking the handicap on T1 -1.5 @2.04 vs Kwangdong Freecs (Afreeca rename)

Liking the handicap on T1 -1.5 @2.04 vs Kwangdong Freecs (Afreeca rename) I feel like T1 isn't given that much respect but this is a good chance to take them at slightly better odds as I don't think they'll underperform given the performance they put out last year. Freecs on the other hand picked up a couple of players from the side of T1 like Teddy and Ellim their roster seems decent but it's a tough task to take down a solid T1 squad that's gaining a lot of success.

They're focused in South American teams/players for this tournament. But this isn't the first time that I've seen a casino sponsored tournament.
But sadly, this tournament was already done

Its ongoing right now and will run until 29th January. Check the link

But sadly, this tournament was already done and it's quite to see this tournament happen since it's the different region that they have been targeting as the market and participants.
I don't think it's already done, it was mentioned in the email that the Grand finals will be held on January 30.

Thanks, guys, I thought the finals is done. I've checked the link and checked both Peru and Brazil servers and the brackets there. It says finished and there were teams already done at the finals. It's probably going to be the finals against the winners for both servers, is that right?

Yeah, I saw gorillas pride and that's one decent team IMO that I usually see always with the bracket together with beastcoast.

and you were right about FPX taking a map. Lwx dominated that game 1, some demacia cup vibes right there.  my RNG hype just took a nosedive :/   they went for the early game action with the drafts and still got destroyed *edit  remind me to never fall for hype again, ffs! at least i managed to recover some thx to rng taking 2nd map
I'm more surprised at how FPX handled the series so well even in their loss during the second game even though RNG was controlling everything it felt like all it takes is one good engagement to turn things around.
