Since there are some talks about Dota 2 roster updates, another addition is here. Welcome to the SEA region, Fly and Talon Esports gang!

https://www.talon.gg/blogs/news/talon-enters-dota-2

The team is going to be composed of:

1. Gabbi
2. Mikoto
3. Kpii
4. Hyde
5. Fly
Oh wow, I did not expect Fly to leave EG. I have high hopes for this team though, afaik most of them almost had the chance to enter TI? If what my memory says is correct anyway. The team looks pretty solid imo, but we still have to see what they can show though. Hype for what SEA esports could bring about with this new roster, and whether Fly would actually now have a chance of getting the Aegis. Looks like EG also tweeted them officially dropping Fly in their twitter.

A brief update on the PUBG Global Championship 2021. Six teams have already arrived at the site to familiarize themselves with the surroundings and begin practicing (as always). TLGNT and Pio are having an interview, I believe they have a picture together talking, I'm not sure when they will release their interview, and a lot of fans are somewhat disappointed because a few teams have Visa issues, so they would change roosters and some players are their coach, which is I think really bad because it should be their player, they practice a ton of months then they have a Visa problem, which is really disappointing.

A Dota 2 roster update, one of the tier teams, Team Secret has already released matumbaman.
Official post: https://twitter.com/teamsecret/status/1460179453070524420
So Team Secret's offlane, Zai and their carry matumbaman, emptied the slot. There are a lot of good players that can fill this position for Team Secret, any guess for the two positions?

^^ Honestly Fnatic should win this one.  They have some really new good players and old players are also playing kinda decent so I am gonna pick Fnatic here.
Fnatic looked really good in this tourney, but i'd rate Dreamhack with all of those teams (forZe, BIG, ML)  as as tier 2 event, it was a really small too. We'll see if new Fnatic can step up their game and start being competitive in tier 1 in the near future

anyone else following NEST 2021? most teams are playing with their academy roster or b team, but i've added SN and team WE to a multi cos both have their main rosters...off season sucks so i'ml just throwing some small stakes on anything that pops up  Cheesy

Big has been sloppy with their performance and yeah Fnatic has been too but I think Fnatic are now making good impression more than BIG right now.

just finished watching fnatic - Mad lions map 1 (Ancient, one of ML best maps, it's also Fnatic's 0% wr perma ban) biggest choke i've seen in a while, 13-7 Mad Lions to 14-16 Fnatic, first time playing Ancient and fnatic looked really sharp, nowt hey have a 100% winrate  Grin will drop some mbtc on map 2 over25.5 rounds x1.69, it's gone down to 1.5 odds in a few minutes, looks like ppl expect something similar to map1

Didn't really saw the match but seems like Fnatic really made a great comeback coming after that scoreline. Judging by the scores of both matches, seems like was a close match but good to see Fnatic making some impression after their downfall.

Fnatic moves on to finals and will wait for the winner of BIG vs Forze. BIG should win this but Forze really played great in their match against ENCE so a bit hard to pick a side here.

BIG eliminated the forze team and BIG will play against Fnatic in the grand final. Today BIG will play the grand final match against Fnatic. Forze played a match with Mad lions for the third place, but could not win. Mad lions became the third place team of this tournament. I was able to watch the last map, vertigo, what a match. Actually, both teams were very close to 3rd place. Mad lions leaked very well on the T side, especially on the A side, and they defended well after taking the plant.

I've finally updated the Calendar in the OP!  Cool also changed the main pic...it was either Team spirit, EDG or NaVi...ended up choosing the team with the GOAT 🔥

Who else is pumped for PUBG? [...]
Ay! I added PUBG to the Calendar cos i was told it's gonna the biggest tournament of the year this month, too bad it's going to be online tho.
I've never watched competitive PUBG, but i'll probably watch this event cos November won't have that many tournaments as previous months and i'll have more time to watch different esports (:

Thank you for adding it Cheesy . PUBG is not really famous now a days but still worth watching its competition if you are into FPS games which youll enjoy also. You are right only few have tournaments right now that is global because of the pandemic but still pubg is getting through which i am glad. Cant wait for the tournament day hahaha i should watch while i am working remotely Cheesy

3 of the former OG player already out with the pro scene, Ana focus to his study, Topson focus to his family and Jerax already out too and the only one who stick is Notail here there's a lot of good players might give another chance for OG, having Sumail on their team is i guess not a good idea because on his game play since the EG won the Ti he have the habit of throwing the game when it comes to late game also OG already win a back to back champion i guess its enough already, now Zai of team Secret is open too there's a chance they grab it.
They're four already that's out of the pro-scene. You've forgot to mentioned Ceb, he has tweet about his retirement after they've been eliminated in TI10.

Zai is no longer a free agent, he just transferred from Secret to Team Liquid. That's a surprising transfer because many have thought that he'll be back in the NA but no.

I also didn't think that Fnatic would leave the groups in the group matches. Fnatic are in a good recovery period, they are currently in the semi-finals and will be met with mad lions. By the way, the favorite team is Fnatic for this match. They will probably face BIG in the final, although their chances are tough against BIG, Fnatic still has a chance to win this tournament. I would like to see Fnatic in better places like in the old days.
i thought no one else here was following DreamHack open but looks like i was wrong. And yeah, Fnatic - BIG seems like the dream final, but i'm used to seeing BIG choking in key matches so we'll see if forZe can upset

He's the only one that hasn't state his retirement. Sockshka has bid his farewell to the team as assistant coach. On liquipedia, there's still Topson and Ceb because there's still no formal announcement of their retirement. So I think, they'll have it soon one by one.
AFAIK, n0tail has said before that as long as he can still play, he'll play. On Chinese Dota, Elephant's roster has already official got out of the team but I think they'll still form a new team which will still compose of the same roster.
Not surprising for Chinese teams that they do continue to disbanned a team and create a new one which do tends to accumulate the best players as possible yet they are trying to make a powerhouse team which could dominate the entire tournament because they do usually choke out when it comes to finals which we do commonly
observe. Its true that there were no formal announcement but since we had already heard of those words then it would definitely happen for sure or still
have some change of minds along the way but its unlikely to happen.
They just being released by the team but they won't be disbanding as a team I guess. Or if they do, the 3 or 4 of them from the roster will remain and will just wait for another addition to form a new team. That's how team goes in China, because a few of them are being loaned so there's money involve and it's really a business for them to do such and that's why there's a massive roster changes that has been happening there since there are a lot of good players in that country.

Hmm, n0tail might have a hard time finding, or at least, adjusting to a new team. His OG team could be said to be one of a kind after all. Ceb might just go continue into coaching or heck, even a caster, like please, we need more casters who know actual stuff in the game, and Ceb, when he was still an analyst, was one of the times I listened to them explaining the game very much. Topson though might not go for retirement straight away and instead opt for a break, maybe a year or two. We can probably then discover what he would go for after that.

With this kind of situation for the OG it tooks time before they finding out a new members, it's too hard to replace the line up of Jerax, topson, Ana and Ceb well it's big daddy notail he find these underrated guys and won 2x in Ti there's a chance he could find again. After the international it took time again before they will join with another Major, still, AFAIK w33 is now open I don't know if Notail will give their 6th man, also there are a lot of roosters changes too the same with EG is this another comeback for Fly and Notail

Yeah, that's fine mate. A rumor doesn't need to have source, any random stranger can be a source and a fan that wants them to see go back in action.
But let's just leave them as they're good for retirement for real, the actual 4 original roster of OG that took 2 TI championships are good for retirement. The remaining one is n0tail.
So notail would still remain on the said team which he might form up another Roster which would fit up on another possible 3x TI champion but we cant really deny that nothing beats up on those
original roster which did really make out some history on the game of Dota 2. People are really badly that minding off that those players would come back playing but i agree
that lets just accept the fact and respect on their decisions in life because not everything will really be just circling around on playing games. We do have our own
personal lives to mind on.

Well, they're not really the original roster when they've participated in the TI10. Without Ana and Jerax, they have never been the same. That's sad and maybe the era of OG is about to end. But as I know, n0tail is good at scouting in new talents. The way he has scouted Ana and Topson, I'm sure that there will be a new generation that will be the new flag-bearer of their team.

There's a rumour that JerAx is in negotiation to play with EG while Fly is departing. Fly might go to Team Secret though. The source is from a random guy on twitter but most his past rumour about roaster changes is pretty accurate. I really miss how JerAx play and I definitely support EG this time if they manage to convince JerAx to play again as pos4. He will be a good help and he is much better to cr1t on this position.

Most of the EU team change roster especially the VP since most of there roster might spread in different teams like Nightfall and Save.
Don't believe on that rumor, AFAIK, jerax has been retired for good and he's just streaming around. Despite him being a two-time TI champ, it's a different adjustment for him.
Don't just believe in every rumor that you see on twitter, facebook and any other social media. Let's just wait for more other interesting roster shuffle, so after this Sumail and Saksa parting ways with OG and as well as zai going to team Liquid. There will be now the other teams that will announce of the same shuffle.

I didn't stated that I already believe on it. That's why I called it a rumour. Besides this rumour will never be introduced if there is no source. And also it didn't stated that Jerax will indeed play and accept the offer. It just say that they are negotiating for Jerax to play again so it's up to Jerax if he will accept it. Dude I'm playing Dota2 since it was introduced and I'm familiar on every roster change as well as drama. Thanks for the advice and I appreciate it but I'm not new when it come to rumour. Just sharing it here.  Cheesy
