Sad news for Dota 2's one of the favorite teams of everyone, OG. Sumail and Saksa parted ways with the team. Since Topson and Ceb were said to take their retirement, I think it's only N0tail remaining to the team, and will enjoy the last few years of his Dota 2 career. I've also heard that Misha will take the captain position, he's their coach during TI10. Still hoping the best for OG for the next season and still like how they play.
Yeah they have parted ways and its sad to see a 2x TI champ team to be on this way.Actually OG was never been the real OG when Saksa and Sumail
had joined the team.Im not saying that they arent capable but its totally different when Ana was the carry and jerax is on support together with Notail
and offlane Ceb or whatever position they could switch on.I missed those days  on where these 5 players been playing together.

S1mple finally won a major...the csgo GOAT. NAVI, unbeaten...Probably the most dominant performance in csgo history?
Aside from the grand finals I think it is one of the most dominant performance, it's unbelievable how G2 was one kill away from forcing a third map but then the pressure came in and NiKo missed the deagle kill on s1mple.

The next big tournament will be within a couple of weeks which is the Blast Fall Finals. It's impressive that some teams aren't getting burnt out by these tournament schedules while the Dota and League scene is currently in their off-season.

It is Bit's first major and it would be really great if he wins this at first shot at majors. flamie obviously wouldn't be loving this much btw.  Cheesy
B1t has to win a rookie of the year award simply because of his performance in this major. We're used to seeing s1mple and electronic popping off, but this was b1t's first LAN grand final and it was a Major and he was terrific throughout the whole tournament

Think I feel sorry for Spirit who did perfectly well this year and yet the squad is thrown up in the air, not sure where they land.    Plus I like their logo/sticker, they better come back :p

I went for Navi -1.5 @1.82, I don't know how G2 would deal with Navi after seeing their quick series win against Gambit. I'm also thinking of going for the round handicap but it felt too risky compared to the map handicap.
3.2x odds if I predict 2-1 to Navi,  has to be worth something of a sidebet.   Navi odds equate to over 80%   ok they probably do win but Im not a fan of throwing alot on there just to get a little back.   I'd rather try and predict the number of maps, Gambit collapsed a little surely G2 can put up more of a fight.

so glad the final is BO3 and not BO5, we won't have to sit down for like 5+ hours  Roll Eyes

Yeah well it has its own pros and cons but I personally wouldn't have mind watching this grand finale with BO5 as it gives a good chances of comeback for other who is behind and plus its final so yeah more the maps, more action we have. Anyway Navi are on cloud9 with their performance and G2 have been performing great lately.

And btw, have you guys thought about this- It is Bit's first major and it would be really great if he wins this at first shot at majors. flamie obviously wouldn't be loving this much btw.  Cheesy

if their last meeting in a Grand Final is anything to go by, G2 will put up a really good fight, but is that even enough against current NaVi? s1mple and b1t are godlike rn, unstoppable

i'll start off with this single and then place a lot more in-play, i've missed the adrenaline of placing tickets during a big LAN match  Grin

Fortunately, the G2 has Niko and I expect a superior performance from him today.
talking about NiKo, wholesome moment between him and S1mple  https://twitter.com/s1mpleO/status/1457106506453823494

can't wait for this match! so much hype!

Heroic did great to take overtime very nearly the entire series from G2.   I did think they were a good underdog bet but not quite made it this time,

I think it was their first major and to make it into the Semi Finals and defeating quite some good teams really speak what a great team they were. Unfortunately they didn't made it into finals but they surely put some great show. With a good talent like stavn and refrezh I am sure they can perform much better.

Its G2 vs Navi now in grand finale and with the performance Navi have put up so far it is very likely that Navi will win this but nothing can be said for sure.

Their comeback on the Inferno map was legendary, I think Heroic team took the game to overtime with this return. Despite being the first major, they did a great job. The final match will be played today between Navi and G2. When navi is involved, I look like a guarantee now Smiley

If there was a heroic-Navi match in the final, it would have excited me more. Fortunately, the G2 has Niko and I expect a superior performance from him today.

Finally 2-2 and last game ahead. The fourth game was pretty even with almost complete absence of outs for DG (EDG luckylly stole the dragon, but in another episode they were unlucky so that luck did not interfere with this game). I am surprised that bookmakers do not rate the teams' odds as equal:
Edward Gaming 2,35
Damwon Gaming 1,57
Slept on the last game since I was pretty tired by then, just finished watching the VOD and ultimately it looks like EDG closed the game favorably for them, not letting Damwon take any chances from them from the last game. rather unfortunate since I was really rooting for Damwon since the beginning, but well, can't help with that I guess. Guess you could say EDG winning was kind of unexpected but also at the same time unexpected? Ig EDG just outperformed Damwon in the end.

In the last game, there was a moment when DG reduced the gap, but they could not "mentally" realize it and immediately failed (EDG made an ace and took the dragon) after that there really was no chance. By the way, at the moment when DG reduced the gap, the odds of their victory changed from 2.8 to 1.9.
As for the forecast, I initially did not believe in the bookmaker's quotes:
Unfortunately, EDG did win and in the final we will see the predicted pair EDG versus DG. At the moment, the odds for the final are as follows:
Edward Gaming 3,40
Damwon Gaming 1,29

DG look like favorites, but as we can see from the semi-finals, such a coefficient on them is hardly justified. EDG will take at least one map in my opinion and the match itself will end with a minimal gap.

Yup, this one is Navi's grand finals to lose since they're able to beat G2 multiple times before and I think we'll see a similar outcome.

I went for Navi -1.5 @1.82, I don't know how G2 would deal with Navi after seeing their quick series win against Gambit. I'm also thinking of going for the round handicap but it felt too risky compared to the map handicap.

Not sure why it showed me bad score line during the game, bad (live) bet there from me; guess I was distracted have to double check my data next time.  Good win by Navi anyway, completely dominant nobody should beat this now.

Later i'll go with G2 @1.59 vs Heroic, the bookies are on point with the odds as they're performing much better compared to Heroic, and expecting them to advance to the Finals.

Surprisingly Heroic are quite enjoying some good lead on the first map Nuke and it seems with scoreline at 15-10 they will put the first map on the board for them. Anyway it was their map pick- Nuke and G2 need to win their map pick - Mirage to push to the third map - Inferno.

I am not sure what is happening right now with the majors.. First the Dota 2 major was a surprise one and now the CS major also has picked some interesting turn in these QF-SF stages.

It was obvious  Cheesy After the first game, the odds really changed a lot:
Edward Gaming 1,90
Damwon Gaming 1,85
Interestingly enough, the odds on the 2nd and 3rd maps are still in favor of DG:
1,52 - 2,40
I must say that EDG played the first game in a dominant style and I see no reason why they should not continue and win, for example, with a score of 3-0.
In-Game 4 right now and EDG is leading for the current game but a score of 2-1 in favor of Damon on the best of 5. Looks like we might actually be seeing a game 5 and I wouldn't be surprised if either teams took the last game, both teams are being quite the finalists here with each team showing how they reached the finals. It was pretty amazing how EDG took game 1 though, but Damwon is showing they aren't to be underestimated here with them taking the next 2 games.

That first map between Furia and Gambit was so close it would've been impressive if Furia pulled it off but Gambit found the edge in overtime though.

Later i'll go with G2 @1.59 vs Heroic, the bookies are on point with the odds as they're performing much better compared to Heroic, and expecting them to advance to the Finals.

Edit : What a decider map, Heroic coming back down 12-6 or something like that then comes out on top leading at one point 13-14 then G2 bouncing back to force OT.

Half an hour before the start of the final and the odds are now as follows:

Damwon Gaming 1,24
I don't see any point in betting on DG, but the coefficient on EDG looks very attractive. For some reason, I have a premonition that after the first map the odds will become more balanced.
