Taking GamerLegion [email protected] vs Sinners, I think Sinners have the edge on this match but GamerLegion managed to take a map off Fnatic yesterday so i'm expecting a closer match.

T1 vs Hawha Life Esports, There's no denying that T1 has a huge chance of winning the best of 5.

And the odds on gambling websites are also around 1.2x for T1.
Its tragic T1 is suffering a lot mostly the Bang was removed or left the team and Faker had good synergy with him after playing with them for years.

I will choose T1 for the win in tomorrow's best of 5 but we've seen surprising matches so anything can happen.
I also think T1 will win but 1.20 is way too high knowing Hanwha Life managed to push their last series all the way during the Regionals.

Imo their roster changes are currently in a good position, they used to have some issues as they failed to qualify last year but they're able to turn things around this time.

It does because you can play a lot of heroes and they don't know who to ban. There's no guarantee but you have higher chance to win because you've got a large pool of heroes.
It's an advantage and whoever is playing it really can enjoy the game itself even if it's the most crucial part of the series, there's always a way for someone to enjoy the game and play confidently if he got those heroes of his.
Thats how should a game would be on which it isnt really just being too competitive or turns out to be pressuring you but rather you really enjoy on what you are doing or really likes to play and you could really see it on Team spirit and just like on what carlfebz2 said above is that having a large hero pool is something unpredictable and does signify that their main core player "Yatoro" do really enjoy on what hes been playing
because it is just quite tiring when you do just focus on single or couple of heroes and this is what i do also saw to be a huge advantage.
All of them have large pool of heroes and that's their strength and with what they've been doing, it's been effective to them. Their run was one of the best because during group stages, they're at the bottom and they're about to be eliminated but they did well on rising through the playoffs and won against with those strong teams including those teams that has TI champ winners including PSG.LGD who has TI champs too.
LGD didnt really able to able win TI ever since but they have able to get that runner up position which that recent ti10 on where most people do believe that LGD would got it this time but they do failed up.

Team spirit was the dark horse on this competition and never one in a million chance that people had been anticipating for this team to win considering that there are lots of teams which are more better
and known to be previous champs which we didnt really expect that they had able to pull this off on this year.

Yeah, Team Spirit just master the meta for the current patch. Magnus was not that popular before until collapse use it on pos3 and use the skewer perfectly on all of the crucial part of the game. Team Spirit hero pool is so vast that's why they can easily counter and develop a quick strategy during picking period. OG has this same characteristics, the only problem was they are over confident on experimenting heroes without thinking the possible cons in case they didn't manage to use it properly. I think this is the reason why torontotokyo TT them after they sweep them is because OG is using an experiments strategy against while they are seriously study and practice the current meta of Dota2.

I'm skipping the Battle of Betway, that tournament seems like a showmatch with different rules, map pool, etc.

The Dreamhack qualifiers seems more interesting with Fnatic and other upcoming teams like Sinners, Eternal Fire fighting for the three Dreamhack open spots. I got a small unit on the side of [email protected] they looked bad during the IEM tournament but after their LAN win last week they're gaining a bit of form back.

Battle of Betway passed me by. Dream hack tournament is nice before the major. I would say Forze was a good choice. Although there are good players individually in the Eternal Fire team, the team is not tactical at all and there is no coordination. There was a new player change. Xfloud came to the team. Forze managed to win the Nuke map even though it was difficult. Currently, the match continues on the Mirage map, the score is going very evenly and I think Forze is closer to winning at the moment.

Yes, they believed they'd shatter the TS Magnus, but collapse is completely different, so they're still picking it, and the team trusted him with that hero. That's one of LGD's mistakes; they should've respect ban on Magnus, and I think it's a bad decision to display their awesome draft (lycan tiny) in the battle between team secret; perhaps team spirit already knows about this draft and is preparing for it. I checked Team Spirit's recent matches, notably in the Easter qualifiers, and they've managed to stay in the upper bracket, indicating that they're more than just a normal dota2 team.
They did become confident that they can beat Collapse's Magnus again. If I were their coach, I'll respect it and will ban it for the entire series. Although there really are heroes that can counter Magnus but it's still going to be different from most of the games if there's a comfort hero that has been banned. As I've read xinQs post in weibo since there's an issue that's rotating towards their coach, he said that even they'll ban Magnus, Team Spirit, all of them, have a large hero pool.
Have a large hero pool is always having that kind of advantage because opposing team will really be having that fucking hard time on which hero should be banned its true that if they do banned out Magnus

but still wont really be a guarantee that they would win up but i do agree that they should have banned it if they do based up on how this Collapse magnus did really play well and make other teams go home

then as a coach then i wont really be doubting on banning this one directly but well its their choice and its too late to whine now.

anyhow, MAD Lions just beat LNG and made it to knockout stage in Worlds 2021. Now it's ML - Gen.G tiebreaker to decide first place in the group, and i believe the draw for knockout stage will be held right after this match ends(?) if MAD lions win, there's a chance they could face Cloud9 in quarterfinals, that would be awful, we all want the EU - NA grand final
That group is crazy, didn't expect the 4-way tiebreaker to happen and I still can't believe FPX failed to qualify in the playoffs.

FunPlus Pheonix vs Team Spirit here is a bit harder FunPlus  are realy good butt im think Spirit will win they have more experiense in cs:go.
I also think FunPlus Phoenix is the better team in this match up and Team Spirit seems too overrated at the moment since their form doesn't look that good against tier two teams. I wanted to take the +map on the side of FPX but it's way too low so I settled with the over 2.5 @1.9 hoping both teams will take their own map pick.

Edit : Clean map pick win for both teams.  Smiley

does anyone know if there was an MVP award in TI 10? and if there was, did Yatoro or Collapse got it? cos either of them deserved it...
There's no MVP during TI as far as I know but they have been setting records since the start of the tournament. Don't forget about TORONTOTOKYO, he also deserve to place the spot for being an MVP. Well, all of them actually are viable to become MVP but it's hard to choose only one.

btw, regular Dota players, prepare for Magnus nerf  Grin
I don't think that there's a need for nerfing Magnus. It's just well played by Collapse. But for those who are in the pubs, brace yourselves then you'll see a lot of Magnus.  Tongue

the supporting duo of Team Spirit is just too good and their versatile picks paid off.

The main mvp for the Team Spirit would be pos 3, 4 and 5. You can literally switch their carry with any top tier carry and pretty sure that they are going to sweep the whole TI. Most people seems to overlook about how their carry players played but without those two supports ( Obviously their offlane as well ), it will be completely different story

Meanwhile I lose two of my outright bets, I was betting for either OG or PSG. LGD to win. Classic bet yeah and I was already pretty confident about it when PSG.LGD get to the final from the upper bracket.

Anyway I just realized that the Worlds 2021 prizepool is pretty low compared to TI, well nothing beats Dota 2 I guess

I am thinking it was more a case of PSG believing they have the game when Tiny-Lycan combo passed trough. Colapse is player of the tournament for me with his performances on Mars and Magnus.

Did not think Team Spirit will win this one after LDG destroyed them on map 4. Big congrats to young Russian team.
LGD kept being confident that they could handle TS Magnus, look what happened. Granted it was also a bait by TS with them leaving Tiny open from what I can see though. I honestly thought LGD was doing a huge comeback they performed astoundingly well in games 3 and 4, and even in Game 5 they got the Tiny-Lycan combo BUT again, they left out Magnus without any hard counter. Game 3 had Rubick to counter him, and we all saw how Collapse's entry was always denied.

I think LGD thought they broke TS's magnus after winning game 3 and 4 but in game 5、 a different story was unveiled and their lack of respect to these young team paid them the prize. Team Spirit is a dark horse in TI10 indeed.
