Best of five ESL finals match  no-org vs Order, normally I'd guess it goes the distance but the bet for maps seems to be for the full 5 to be played which is alot of matches all in a row.  I think both teams will be motivated but for once I'd guess the game is not close enough for every map to play out.   Each team is listed as having its best and worst maps at polar opposites, no org winning Nuke in the majority is probably more significant overall.

as soon as i saw EDG were stealing two barons in game 3, i knew they were gonna win the series, RNG were dreadful today

props to EDG for making it to semifinals for the first time ever (they've been getting KO'd in Worlds quarter finals since 2014) Scout and Viper are SO good

After the third game, I was almost sure that RNG would win, due to the fact that EDG, having an advantage, behaved very risky and gave chances to the opponent. As you can imagine, after the 4th game, I was already 100% sure of this, but I was too lazy to place a bet (I was lucky lol), and in the 5th game the EDG won unexpectedly easily.

i lost my main ticket but managed to recover some coins thanks to the Over maps x2.4 which i forgot to mention yesterday

Well other bets did not go so well on my ticket but I managed to at least cash out on EDG win later on. I took them @2.6 after they lost game 1. That is nice on those BO5 games* you can get a lot of odd swings and catch up some real value.

*I just realized I wrote it wrong in my previous post, and now that you quoted me I can never edit my mistake Smiley It should have obviously been BO3 and BO5.

RNG +1.5 handicap @1.6 is pretty decent but will wait until last minute to shop for better odds
I am on this one, it sounds safe enough but I would feel even better if this was BO2 and not BO3. This will be my first LoL bet after quite a while but desperate times (no DOTA and CS) call for desperate measures Smiley

If other games on my ticket start going as planned I will maybe even try to hedge that bet with correct score 3:1 for EDG. This is the only realistic result for me that could result with us loosing this bet.

Looks like i'm on the other side backing [email protected] I agree this is definitely a coinflip but i'm more confident taking the side of Viper and Scout against Cryin and Gala.

The odds are low but i'll take it as a better alternative over T1 series winner.  Cheesy
quick 3-0, my dude. So disappointing, the kind of series you don't wanna see in a knockout match. What a let down

tomorrow, RNG - EDG. Honestly, this is a toss up. On one side you have Gala vs Viper, two of the best bot laners in the world, on the other hand, Scout - Cryin, two of the best mids. I'll just back RNG, mainly cos they crushed EDG in both splits this year

It looks like today's game will be the most interesting of all the quarterfinals, the remaining two have all chances to end with a score of 3-0, which is rather sad. By the way, Stake gives right now a slightly better coefficient for the victory of RNG - 2.11, but I think that the favorite will win in this pair.

Yeah this one was tough to watch as T1 took the gold lead on every map and it felt like Hanwha Life didn't even try to do anything.

It may be worthwhile to immediately give links to the odds from the bookmakers and your opinions about them so that more people talk about PUGB here. [...]
it's still too early.
Bookmakers will start offering PUBG Global Championship in like a month or so.
And, out of the 20+ esports bookies that i know, only a handful have offered PUBG in the past: loot.bet, GG.bet, EGB, Unikrn and Pinnacle. We'll see if more bookies offer PUBG on their site cos this year a lot of esports had a major boost in popularity (cos of Covid and all that)

The odds are low but i'll take it as a better alternative over T1 series winner.  Cheesy

All of them have large pool of heroes and that's their strength and with what they've been doing, it's been effective to them. Their run was one of the best because during group stages, they're at the bottom and they're about to be eliminated but they did well on rising through the playoffs and won against with those strong teams including those teams that has TI champ winners including PSG.LGD who has TI champs too.
LGD didnt really able to able win TI ever since but they have able to get that runner up position which that recent ti10 on where most people do believe that LGD would got it this time but they do failed up.

Team spirit was the dark horse on this competition and never one in a million chance that people had been anticipating for this team to win considering that there are lots of teams which are more better
and known to be previous champs which we didnt really expect that they had able to pull this off on this year.
Yeah, LGD has always been that close. Always the 2nd for these past TIs but that's it and as they're always close, who knows if they're going to be the next TI champ.
I agree about TS, they've never been expected to win the TI and their performance before the playoffs is too dull and that's why we mostly thought that it's going to be either Team Secret or LGD in the finals.
They do always fell short and i did expect that Elephant would really make out some good moment or a good run considering that there are other former LGD members on that team including Somnus.

Dont know on what happened on why they hadnt considered including Ame but instead kicked or leaved on LGD which its almost that they do get the championship of this year.

Trying to look back on first day of the tournament is that Team spirit does have 0-4 where no one had expected to have some cinderalla story.
Yeah they do. It's always the hardest feeling that when they're the favorites and close to their TI dream but fell short because there's another team that has built their cinderella story.
Elephant was also the best team and considered that shall rise to the top but they've been eliminated that early. Well, the chinese teams will go back stronger next TI and that's for sure but are we going to see a two-peat for TS?

Isn't anyone talking about PUBG? So I just wanted to share my excitement for the PUBG Global Championship in November, which I believe will be won by the South Koreans once again. Or will the winner-take-all chicken dinner be served to the SEA? The most recent PGIS, in which Gen G was the most well-known, is really getting into the games. This tournament excites me because it features a team from my home country, which I am looking forward to seeing. It is hoped that they will be able to compete with other top pubg teams.

It may be worthwhile to immediately give links to the odds from the bookmakers and your opinions about them so that more people talk about PUGB here. I think the main interest for forum participants in such threads is betting. If you think that any of the odds are beneficial for betting, then I will gladly look at your thoughts. This is a big tournament and in my opinion it is suitable for betting (I am suspicious of all the smaller esports competitions).

so, Hanwha Life +1.5 @2.2 could be decent value? but this team looked a bit shaky in Group stage. i remember their game against Fnatic and how close it was and Fnatic were playing with a stand-in :/  also losing to RNG a couple times who i rate a tier below T1

i think i'll wait for live markets, see if the T1 moneyline goes up a bit if Hanhwa somehow win game 1. If we see a quick 2-0 for T1 just like in Regionals, then i'll go low stake on over 4.5 maps just in case  Grin
I'm also torn between the handicaps that's why I went with the over [email protected] since it's unlikely for T1 to get a sweep plus they knew each other very well.

The odds are low but i'll take it as a better alternative over T1 series winner.  Cheesy

It does because you can play a lot of heroes and they don't know who to ban. There's no guarantee but you have higher chance to win because you've got a large pool of heroes.
It's an advantage and whoever is playing it really can enjoy the game itself even if it's the most crucial part of the series, there's always a way for someone to enjoy the game and play confidently if he got those heroes of his.
Thats how should a game would be on which it isnt really just being too competitive or turns out to be pressuring you but rather you really enjoy on what you are doing or really likes to play and you could really see it on Team spirit and just like on what carlfebz2 said above is that having a large hero pool is something unpredictable and does signify that their main core player "Yatoro" do really enjoy on what hes been playing
because it is just quite tiring when you do just focus on single or couple of heroes and this is what i do also saw to be a huge advantage.

Yeah, Team Spirit just master the meta for the current patch. Magnus was not that popular before until collapse use it on pos3 and use the skewer perfectly on all of the crucial part of the game. Team Spirit hero pool is so vast that's why they can easily counter and develop a quick strategy during picking period. OG has this same characteristics, the only problem was they are over confident on experimenting heroes without thinking the possible cons in case they didn't manage to use it properly. I think this is the reason why torontotokyo TT them after they sweep them is because OG is using an experiments strategy against while they are seriously study and practice the current meta of Dota2.
OG does really have that kind of behavior on where they are a bit witty on their plays and also with those personal actions considering that they do really spam out chat whenever they do like.
I agree about that testing phase of heroes which they could make out combinations but they arent aware that the opponent team is really preparing up something.
I dont really consider for OG  to be strong unless if ANA and Jerax would be there. Original team members is much preferable. Team spirit is the current champion and for
sure other teams would be trying to expand or extent out their hero pool or specializations.

it seems rare someone to talk about battle royale games. more often FPS or MOBA games and just like sunsilk mention lack of bookies put this game on their e-sports list. PUBG Mobile or PC? I also play PUBG but not really follow their tournament btw how is the tournament system in pubg? team or solo?

No one I guess.

And that's because not that many sportsbooks have listed the game to bet for. I know the game is still on the trend and there are still quite good numbers.

But because there's a lack of bookies that have listed it, there's not that much discussion about the game.

Going to Dota 2, I'm waiting for some post-TI shuffle of rosters.

I also think T1 will win but 1.20 is way too high knowing Hanwha Life managed to push their last series all the way during the Regionals.

Imo their roster changes are currently in a good position, they used to have some issues as they failed to qualify last year but they're able to turn things around this time.

Taking GamerLegion [email protected] vs Sinners, I think Sinners have the edge on this match but GamerLegion managed to take a map off Fnatic yesterday so i'm expecting a closer match.

T1 vs Hawha Life Esports, There's no denying that T1 has a huge chance of winning the best of 5.

And the odds on gambling websites are also around 1.2x for T1.
Its tragic T1 is suffering a lot mostly the Bang was removed or left the team and Faker had good synergy with him after playing with them for years.

I will choose T1 for the win in tomorrow's best of 5 but we've seen surprising matches so anything can happen.
