Merry Christmas you guys.

I wonder what the new year holds for esports?

I only came into it this year because of the lockdowns and needing something to do. Was quite successful for a while when I could afford it.

I have never yet known what the normal is.

Thanks for all the learnings and tips.

Gasp I have never seen a physical tourney, only online.  I feel such a baby.   Cheesy

Liquid astral would almost be defeated, but it didn't happen. Astralis has once again shown us that it is the favorite of every tournament with its staff.

it was a multi, no? Access are party poopers  Sad

Semifinals: TES - VG, JDG - Team WE...gonna wait a bit more to see how the lines move, but i'm looking at -1.5 handicap for TES (no chance for VG, imo, JackeyLove & co have been playing insanely good this year) and JDG moneyline, this one's @1.41 right now, hopefully it'll go up a bit more so i can boost it to 1.5x or better
Yeah, Access broke my ticket Smiley No, matter Sportsbet is here to take care of me, heck I got 5 free bets on my account. I have a big one witch was awarded for my clubhouse rank and 4 x 1mBTC ones. I guess that is from NBA promo but I thought we needed to have winning ticket for that?

That -1.5 handicap for TES looks good and I will probably play it. Just have to decide for how big stake. I will probably combine it with some DOTA again. Maybe Phoenix gaming to take a map.

You just suckered me into the bet.
My ticket:
RNG -1.5 vs. Ig.vitality @ 1.6
Lbzs -1.5 vs. Access @ 1.82
JD gaming -1.5 @ 1.85

my single won, shoulda gone with the correct score too, i expected that exact 3-1 for JDG, ugh!

Actually, there are too many tournaments that has been done during this covid-19 crisis. No lan tournaments but the organizations managed to keep a continuous online Dota 2 tournament. Prizes are still the same from the LAN and even Valve events did.
2021 is the The International time again, probably by the 1st-2nd quarter of that year if they will change the schedule. We'll see again live actions but with certain protocols. Too bad that there won't be that much hype for audience because it would only be like a bubble for NBA. It is just that this year-end don't have much tournament left and most of them are reserved for 2021.
Yeah I have heard some but they do not seem to pique my interest because some tournaments have boring team brackets, it is a good thing that they are still hosting tournaments. The next International would probably get the biggest prize pool because another Battlepass will surely come next year, hopefully Sweden does not see an influx of infection at this time onward so they can continue the most awaited tournament.

so i suppose your bet was voided since T1 won cos their opponent had to forfeit, right? literally the only way this T1 noob roster could win a match in this tourney lol
Yup it got voided due to some Covid related issue between the Fredit management.

Good luck on your JDG bets looks like they're one game away from closing the series currently it's 1-1 but they have a solid early lead in game 3.

I'll stick to the Kespa cup again try my luck on Nongshim @1.6 vs Sandbox and hopefully Peanut delivers.

anyways, i'll definitely back JD Gaming tomorrow vs. Victory Five, hopefully we see them playing against Team WE in the semis

-merry xmas 🎄-
You just suckered me into the bet. I have played JD gaming to win and added a bit of DOTA on the ticket for good measure. I really had great luck these days while betting on low tier DOTA so I expect a loss but since I have to play something....cough..addiction...
My ticket:
RNG -1.5 vs. Ig.vitality @ 1.6
Lbzs -1.5 vs. Access @ 1.82
JD gaming -1.5 @ 1.85

Merry Xmas guys, and lots of winning tickets Smiley

Betting against T1 since they're only playing with their academy roster while their opponent Fredit Blade is pretty decent as the odds already reflect it @1.58.

i actually had a single bet today, Suning to win vs VG...big yikes!, clean 3-0 from Vici Gaming  Lips sealed Suning looking like a headless chicken without SwordArt, they were SO bad today :/ anyways, i'll definitely back JD Gaming tomorrow vs. Victory Five, hopefully we see them playing against Team WE in the semis

Last day of the Kespa cup group stages later today. Betting against T1 since they're only playing with their academy roster while their opponent Fredit Blade is pretty decent as the odds already reflect it @1.58. Later on I might also go for KT Rolster @1.5 on their last match since they'll be facing T1 as well and they're currently on a 2-0 record, a 4-0 sweep puts them at semis and 3-1 for quarterfinals.

Don't you worry, I'll post some Dota 2 tournaments. As of the moment, there's not that much high tier tournaments.
I mean a tournament for tier 1 teams except the Huya tournament. Tomorrow, playoffs. Group stages will end today.

No big events this current COVID season and to be honest it is pretty boring because most teams competing right now are either formulaic or boring, the top tiers are sleeping and I guess it is understandable considering The International is postponed. I am also excited with the new patch because meta will definitely be changing and hopefully we can see new team pop up when the International starts because I do not want another OG championship, I think it is enough that they won 2 times.

For Dota tournaments we'll probably see them somewhere mid January (18th) since Valve announced the DPC circuit will be back around that time and finally we'll get to see this tournament format come to life in the near future.
Can't wait for some top tournaments to start both in DOTA and CS. I have no clue about LOL so I have to bet on lower tier DOTA which actually went better than expected for me. Lower tier CS is kicking my ass though, so I will stop betting on CS until top teams came back from holidays.

Please share if you guys have some nice LOL picks for following days.

I've finally updated the Calendar in the OP! go check it out!

Top tier CS:GO is going on a one month break because of the holidays  Cry

Competive League of Legends is back for about a week with the KeSPA Cup (KR) and Demacia Cup (CN). KeSPA will have the Worlds champions, DAMWON Gaming, who just made their debut with the new member in the roster, Khan. The Damacia tourney will feature some of the best teams in the region like JD Gaming, Suning, Top Esports, FunPlus Phoenix, etc, but we'll have to wait until the 24th and 25th to see them in action in the playoffs

I don't follow the ongoing Dota tournaments, so i guess i'll just place some bets on LoL for now =P
