DAMWON are the Worlds 2020 champions! and who knows how many championships they're gonna win from here, i feel like we still haven't seen this team showcasing their max potential. Pretty scary tbh.

Props to Suning, they put up a good fight in this final (except last game), but still lacked in some aspects that the korean team managed to capitalize on. All in all, good final, we had a Pentakill for the first time ever in Worlds, a great comeback in game 2, some insane team and single plays, i enjoyed it  Smiley

Is this first time this year without Secret in the final?
Not sure, but they looked very shaky in the entire playoffs. Now i'm looking forward to Liquid - Mudgolems in a few hours, both teams beat the main favorite Team Secret in spectacular fashion, so who's the favorite here?

Maybe I am crazy as per that old Einstain definition "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

But I am again placing a bet on over 2.5 maps on BIG game, lost it 3 times in a row, it is about time they play one over match.

My second pick is Nemiga 2:0, I am sure Nemiga is winning this but I went for greedy option. Hopefully will not regret it Smiley

This event was done but I've never seen someone addresses this and asks people's opinion about this match of NaVi and Yellow Submarine in Dota 2. Another issue of *possible* 322 event that has been brought up to the reddit community but I haven't seen any statement from ESL.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/je7vbd/yellow_submarine_players_were_offered_more_than/
interesting, but i'm not surprised the ESL didn't step in to make a statement. For starters, that's a screenshot from discord, god knows if the msg was a legit match fixing offer, coulda been a troll or some salty kid who lost his lunch money while betting. Also, if the organization sees that something's not right, you can bet that they're gonna clamp down on any attempt to 322 cos the last thing one of the biggest esport leagues in the world wants is to se its tourney & matches being linked with match fixing, betting mafia and all that BS...just look at what the ESL did to the csgo teams who abused a mere bug in the game (massive wave of individual bans), now imagine what they'd do if they see 322 in the ESL One. All in all, ESL prolly thought this didn't deserve an official response
I get it, thanks. ESL is really not allowing such offense to happen and if they see someone has been involved, they won't have a second thought on it and they will simply ban the player/s that are involved to this 322 just like what they did to CSGO.

Yeah, for sure that this has been brought to ESL management already. If it happened to YS team, if they think that it's not that much of a problem, it is on them but I hope that no the same thing will happen in the future no trolling, no real offer and hopefully it's just a bluff knowing that it's EU/CIS.

edit* Liquid 2-0'd Team Secret...the f*ck??
Just watched that game. I came at the end of map 1 when Liquid snatched it away from Secret and than waited for the draft of second map before placing the bet. I saw Liquid pick very greedy draft and I was thinking Secret will punish that in lain stage. Was very happy with odds of 1.9 on Secret to win. We all know how it ended, good thing I did not have more money on that bookie so it was a small bet Smiley

gonna leave my Worlds 2020 ticket early today:

boosted odds gave me @2.01  Shocked couldn't let that pass by, SB will prolly lower the odds as we get closer to the match and ppl start placing their tickets (Asia is asleep right now)

Sorry to disappoint you but I have exactly the same bet today and given my record lately that means your are loosing that ticket Smiley
lol and we lost. I overestimated BIG (once again), i thought this fluke team would show some spirit today, but nope, this is the harsh truth, they suck and should go back to playing tier 2 tournaments once LAN comes back. Should've kept them on my csgo blacklist and saved my stake

whats your opinion about that match?
i'm expecting a close one. Both team showed us what they're capable of against the big bois, but being one win away from the grand final might put both of them under a bit of pressure. Gonna be a cracking match for sure!

[DOTA2]
Natus Vincere are doing great at this tournament and have developed a streak to three wins. Recall that in the final match of the group stage, the team dealt with YeS (2: 1), and also managed to prove its superiority over OG (2: 1) and Vikin.gg with a score of 2: 0 in the playoffs. The team has not made it to the finals of major events for a long time, so they will probably make every effort in the upcoming meeting.

Now NAVI are showing a spectacular game and have prepared many different set-ups, and they definitely have heroes that we have not yet seen in their performance. By the way, in the second map against the Vikings, the Born to Win absolutely "smashed" their opponent and finished the game in 28 minutes.

I place for navi to win @2.25 odds, whats your opinion about that match?

btw, dota 2 players, how do you feel about new Diretide after 10 years of waiting? Smiley

Liquid - Secret: Secret -1.5

Even though this is a lower bracket round 3 match, this surely must be the match of the day. How did those two teams end up in the lower bracket? Well surprisingly enough, Team Secret is not playing their most dominant tournament for now, and Liquid’s performance can vary a lot. Team Secret did get their 1st loss in a while vs mudgolems in the upper bracket. After that loss, their stakes are higher and they don’t have any opportunities for new mistakes. After beating Alliance with a strong 2-0 in the lower bracket round 2, now they need to face another strong team. Team Liquid will try to stop Team Secret in taking another championship. The only team that managed to beat Liquid in the group stage was Team Secret (2-0). However, the playoffs didn’t start too well for them. They were crushed by the same team that beat Team Secret, mudgolems. Team Liquid showed decent play vs very weak Nigma in the lower bracket, while yesterday they managed to make a few comeback to 2-0 Vikin.gg. Really solid performance, but I’m not sure if this will be enough to face Team Secret with their prime play. They’re last clash was 2 weeks ago, in the group stage of the same tournament. How did those 2 weeks help Liquid is yet to be seen. This is a high risk bet, but that’s only logical thing to go for if you are asking me. Team Secret should take out Team Liquid. 2-0 is a result that we want.

Mudgolems - Natus Vincere: Natus Vincere +1.5

Mudgolems are the biggest underdog of this tournament. Until now they’ve lost only 1 series, and that was vs Team Liquid (0-2) in the group stage of the tournament. Their mid player BoraNija is really delivering almost every game. He is the biggest surprise on the scene regarding players if you ask me. Skiter is playing amazingly too. His position 1 play is much better compared to his time in CR4ZY. In the opening playoff match, they’ve beat Team Liquid in a close 3 map series. However, after that they shocked us all with their amazing performance vs Team Secret. Secret didn’t have the chance. It’s obvious, they are performing very good vs stronger teams, as I do think they are still a big question mark for most of the European Dota 2 teams. It will take some time for teams to study Mudgolems in a better and more detailed way. I’m a big fan of Natus Vincere, but Mudgolems already crushed them in the group stage. Match ended up with a 2-0 win for Mudgolems. Even though NaVi had really poor performance in the group stages, they showed what they made off in the playoffs. 2-1 win vs favoured OG, 2-0 win vs Vikin.gg are respectable results that can show us potentially how this current match will go. Mudgolems are favourites, that’s sure. But I wouldn’t count down NaVi. This should be a really open match, every team has it’s opportunities and for that reason I’m giving NaVi at least 1 map.

But i have my eyes on Vitality - BIG. Everyone seems to favor the french quintet here, not surprising after that 2-0 a week ago, but i'm gonna trust that BIG learned a thing or two from that game. So, O2.5 maps at 1.95

Also, mudgolems - Natus Vincere upper brack final in the ESL. Over 2.5 maps.

I had O2.5 on Vitality - BIG match last time around as well, it did not come for me but hopefully there will be better luck today.

Maybe your Mudgolems bet will pass since I am leaning more to simple ML here. Any team that 2:0 Secret can literally 2:0 anybody in the world.

Perhaps maybe betting against Faze would be good? Still would be awkward if they still manage to win without Niko  Cheesy <...>
heh, wouldn't be a bad idea to best against them, but then again, Kjaerbye and Co will want to prove that this wasn't a one man team so you never know. Anyhow, they'll be playing against another team who recently had a change in the roster, Complexity. It should be a close match

yep, and FaZe are currently without a coach as YNk left the team too so, a lot of changes in this org right now, looks like i'll be avoiding FaZe in my bets for a few weeks while they settle down

Perhaps maybe betting against Faze would be good? Still would be awkward if they still manage to win without Niko  Cheesy Feels a bit hard but in CSGO anything is possible. You can't predict team performance properly. At one point a team would be gving such a great performance but after a while it drops a lot. Guess dropping Faze from betting would be a good call for now.

I have Vitality too @1.59 i'll always take them against Complexity since it's hard to tell if the addition of jks would immediately bring better results for them.

NiKo has played a vital role in Faze journey. 3.5 years is a lot to dedicate to a CS team. Hope this helps G2 to recover their form.

Shout out for Sunning and all LOL fan here. Surely I will make a bet for my support team
If you're gonna back Suning, you'll find some really tempting lines in the bookies. Just the moneyline at 2.97 odds is already a no brainer for the fans, but even map handicap +1.5 at 1.94 is good value. I haven't made my picks yet, but I'll be backing the koreans, for sure =)

Today on Balster Series Natus Vincere vs Ninjas in Pyjamas
the Natus Vincere org with two massive games today on CS and Dota. In the Blast Premier, S1mple and Co should no problems against NiP. But in the ESL One germany i'd say NaVi are on the same level as Vikin.gg, pretty hard to pick a winner here so it might better to just wait for drafts and see what's up or just go Over2.5 maps

@ralle14  good luck today!

Yesterday Navi was horrible after that first map it felt like they're fully tilted as they started pulling force buys from round 2 to round 10 instead of just saving for a solid buy. At first it looked reasonable since they're on the T side and the CT economy can be broken very easily but it didn't work for them.

Skipping the Blast tournament today since ESL is back. I've got Secret -1.5 and Over 2.5 combined for a total of 2.7. Viking and Navi's last two meeting went to the distance and after those upsets I think we'll get another 3 map series.

Will the Korean beat the Chinese in their own country?
I think Damwon will take it since they look unbeatable but on the side of Suning it feels like they're about to replicate what Samsung Galaxy did three years ago.
