i'm waiting for VIT-FNT, i have O2.5 maps on this one https://i.ibb.co/ynYPQ6X/ayaya.png
Both teams have been kinda meh lately, winning comfortably here and there but also losing to lower ranked teams, have a feeling this is gonna be a hard-fought battle
Vitality took Fnatic map pick and I am thinking they are finishing the job here on Dust2. Fnatic has really poor record on that map. One just 1 from last 4.

FaZe going to the decider vs. Spirit rn, impressive...
  Cheesy

Tough stretch for FaZe (#punchingbag), 5th straight loss for them in ESL Pro League and no chance to make the playoffs now.
At least they got one map this time, 1st and only one in the tournament  Lol, i really needed it for my main bet today though, FaZe O2.5 + Vitality ML (i hope the french don't stink up the joint against fnatic)
I had a bet against FaZe from couple a days ago and I was afraid for a moment when they looked good in the first map but that was all they showed today. After that it was Spirit all the way.

What are your thoughts on the Astralis vs. NiP match later today?
Over or Astralis in two? Last three meeting between the two, NiP have three wins (5-1 maps), i'm leaning towards the O2.5

FaZe going to the decider vs. Spirit rn, impressive...but Mirage is one of FaZe's weakest maps :/

Seems like they're adjusting the odds now that I can't find any markets on that series. I'll still take them as long as the odds stay within even. Fnatic's roster won't go that far without iceiceice.

My bets for today:

FaZe vs Spirit - MY BET

Vitality vs fnatic - MY BET

Astralis vs NiP - MY BET

Vitality and Astralis are clear favorites. Recent form od FaZe is terrible but it's still a team with skilled individualities and imho it's worth a try especially at 2.38 odds

Take a look on the upcoming match between Fnatic and BOOM on 19 September.  It looks like the sportsbook is still favoring Fnatic and its a very juicy odds to bet on BOOM.

Hopefully fnatic didnt play very bad on purpose. They're really trash in this tourney  Cheesy

For now it's time to ride Faze's losing streak and go with Team Spirit, the map handicap looks like a value bet at 2.55 but i'm playing it safe since Team Spirit's last 4 matches all went to 3 maps. I guess Faze really want to have an early exit since there's a rumor about woxic going to Faze.

Fnatic to take one map is 1.6 and their win 5.8. Maybe I am crazy but somebody miscalculated those odds for sure, no matter the news. After I placed my bet odds dropped to 5.4 so low liquidity and betting on TNC probably influenced the odds significantly.
Yeah it should be the other way around, on sportsbet TNC to win the first and second map was like 1.55 pre live.

Good win on Furia, I didn't bet on their series but I was able to watch the series mid way in the first map and eventually stomping Liquid on both maps.

I've been eyeing this one since yesterday. TNC to win this bo2 series against Fnatic they're currently playing with a stand in as their offlaner skipped the tournament and they had a bad start already 0-0-2. TNC on the other hand doing alright currently 1-1-0 they 2-0'd New Esports which beat Fnatic 2-0 few days ago and drew 1-1 against BOOM.

Major changes in MIBR : TACO and fer and coach dead were dropped out of the team. Fallen disliked the decision and asked the organisation to bench him. They were struggling but didn't expected to drop such star players like TACO and fer.

Damn, I wish I have seen your post before I placed my bet on Fnatic. I saw odds @5.8 for Fanatic to win and took them immediately thinking this must be some bookie mistake Smiley
It seems it is my mistake, but still even with that information you provided those odds look like value. Good thing the bookie did not let me bet 4 mBTC on them, they just let me put a little more then 1.5 mBTC. I wanted to put them on another multi ticket as well and then I read this post of yours.

updated the Calendar in the OP...less than 2 weeks until LoL Worlds 2020!

@Globb0  GL! i'm going with a single today backing FURIA https://i.ibb.co/gmhRYrh/furia.png
i think this is going to be a close match, both teams are looking hot lately, no big advantage in map pool, this could easily be O26.5 rounds in every map (sames as DreamHack), but i think Furia have the edge here, h2h is looking good for them

Faze just handing out free wins to all of the teams they might even get 0-7 at this point since they'll face Spirit, NiP and Complexity on the last week of the groups.
and free money lol too bad i've been skipping them since the start of the tourney, been reading that some ppl are manking bank thx to FaZe lol i'll definitely back Spirit when they play against FaZe, the russians have been really impressive so far, they look like a top 10 team!

@Globb0
Aren't those BTS DOTA games best of 2? How do you play winner 2 way on that match? Is that bet void if the game ends 1:1?
kinda odd that this bookie isn't offering a draw, most bookies are giving you 1X2in BTS Pro, some others simply don't offer ML, there's no value in 2-way
props for pointing that out  Wink

For me Viking and 5Men should win their games 2:0 and I will probably play those on my multi while Boom vs. Neon will end 1:1.

Thanks Ill go check that out.

Maybe Ill void it myself.

*edit*
Cheers you were right and whilst I would leave it, the games that will void are the value in the bet. So I closed it. Its sometimes handy my bookies don't get esports but not always.

I moved on to look at the handicap markets, maybe they made the same mistake?

They didn't, its the opposite, they are even more cruel +1.5 1/5

Thanks Trofo

Side-note, FaZe in a bit of a slump, 4 straight losses in ESL Pro League, things not looking good for them right now.
Faze just handing out free wins to all of the teams they might even get 0-7 at this point since they'll face Spirit, NiP and Complexity on the last week of the groups.

They haven't won a single map as well but the bookies still believe in them though currently at 2.2 against Team Spirit.
Plenty of time till Tuesday for those odds to drop as more and more people bet on Spirit. I just placed a small bet since I don't like betting on anything that will not finish today, but these odds deserve a chance.

When I started my eSports betting career not so long ago CS was much better for me, I guess it is easier to understand and bet on. Or I just got lucky Smiley
As the time passed I started to understand much more about the drafts and results in DOTA (especially live) improved a lot so now DOTA is my favorite eSport to throw money on. At the same time my CS results took a hit so really a no brainier for me.

I didn't notice that DotA2 is losing its popularity over CS:GO or is it just because DotA had less tournaments than CSGO nowadays? Nah. DotA2 is mostly famous with their TI or The International and its minor and major tournaments had been on hold and had to reschedule due to the pandemic. DotA preferred the old way of tournaments where they can see the actions of each and every players in the game as there would be  arisk and possibility that if they let players play on their own PCs or houses, they might use cheats and whatsoever. But CSGO doesn't take that onto consideration. That's why I also didn't play anymore CSGO with their community having so much cheaters and Valve and CSGO makers couldn't resolve that.
The cheats are less of an issue to Dota compared to CSGO, according to their blog the reason why they stopped the major tournaments is because of travel issues.

Don't like this situation in CS where more and more coaches are coming out and confessing something like "I have used coaching bug without knowledge of the team or organization". Have a feeling a bunch of teams has used the bug and profited from it and now when shit has hit the fan everybody has decided that coaches are the ones to take the blame and probably a nice "under the table check" to keep the problem contained.

Waiting for DOTA to make a comeback, CS is just not doing it for me at the moment. I pick few games here and there in some multi but is all for small stakes and with usually unfavorable outcomes.

The DOTA 2 scene is slowly making a comeback but these Counter Strike matches are not stopping anytime. They really booked a lot of matches all around Europe and America. They really are faster than DOTA 2 but the latest matches at DOTA 2 were a total stomp. Secret is still the reigning champs with their complete lineup even before the quarantine periods started. On most betting websites, just go Secret all the way.

Counter Strike really shows a lot of versatility and they really did some shuffle within the lockdown which was risky since they won't be able to hold team building activities that might improve their communications strategies.
