no T1 at Worlds 2020...it's a sad day, bros  Cry at least i got to see Faker with some insane plays like in Game 2, he's still got it!

but are online and offline tournaments different? I mean do the underdogs often win in offline tournaments too?
there are difference between LAN and online, one of the main difference is the comfort that playing at home will give to underdogs, the tier 1 teams are used to these massive arenas with a huge crowd and a lot of noise so they prolly feel a bit uncomfortable in their home setup. Obviously, THE main difference is ping/delay, but the psychological factor of a csgo arena is very prominent

Ill probably get back into it soon after I lick my wounds a bit.
always good to take break and simply unwind,, gotta recharge the batteries for the upcoming football season too (:

Oi! ESL pro is back, brehs!  Grin only game i'm looking forward to today is G2 - Heroic https://i.ibb.co/b7S5tzT/cs.png
FaZe - fnatic could go either way so i would recommend going with total maps

-snip-

Damnnn dude, the underdogs have always won recently.
I have only been following CSGO since a few months ago which means there are only online tournaments, but are online and offline tournaments different? I mean do the underdogs often win in offline tournaments too?

Yeah I hear you after a few awesome runs I have stopped betting on esports for a while.

I built up a nice stack but have fritted it away on weird result after weird result.

Then the cheating thing came out. Sheesh.

Ill probably get back into it soon after I lick my wounds a bit.

Have you guys seen how Nigma just managed to snatch map 1? They were 20k or something down and Alliance was destroying them. Then Alliance decided to go for a base push and managed to get the throne one hit from collapsing when Arc Warden respawned for Nigma and placed a bubble on the throne 3x times in the row and they managed to kill all Aliance heroes twice in that time and then just turned it around. I think Nigma won the map while odds were 1.01 on Alliance.

Go check this one out, it is worth it, believe me. My words don't paint enough of a picture.
First, Omega League Europe was already done and congratulations to Team Secret for another championship that they've made. I hope that when the next year's TI comes, they are consistent and the same. And for this match of Nigma and Alliance although I was quite late to comment about this match, it became trending worldwide. That bubble and throne save made by Miracle and also by other Team Nigma members, it was dope and it led them to comeback. It's the reason why I went with too many Arc Warden in pubs haha.

we're in the offseason in lol and dota (i don't follow the Dota bts pro americas), so it's gonna be a fw weeks of boredom with only CSGO, but at least european football is back =P anyone watching LCK regionals? i want to see T1 in the finals

But don't they have a neutral observer there?
the observer didn't know, that's why this bug is known as 'coach bug', the only who knew about it and could exploit the bug was the coach and his cam

What do you know, we have more coaches admit of using the coach bug:

this could get very, very ugly very soon, the fact that the bus has been around for 3 years makes me think that at some point in some random match A LOT of coaches abused the bug...still waiting to see what happens with the tier 1 teams

Imaging the number of hookey games. Im pissed off. The temptation for them to use a glich must b huge when its big money.

But don't they have a neutral observer there?

Reminder, today we have:

- LEC Summer Final - Fnatic - G2
- LCS Summer Final - FlyQuest - TeamSoloMid
- OMEGA EU Immortal Final - Team Secret - OG/Nigma

one semis and three BO5, that's easily over 12hours of stream!! but i think i'll watch the LEC final (G2 ML in my ticket)...rooting for Nigma to make it to the final (O2.5 maps vs. OG maybe?), and I think FLY have the edge today (nice odds in ML), that win against Cloud9 couple weeks ago was so convincing...

Yes, I watched the first map and I can't believe they were so desperate at ending the game that fast instead going for the safer route to push the barracks or slowly bleed Team Nigma out since they were so far ahead in terms of the networth. It reminds of that one liquid game where they become greedy and threw everything at their opponent including the buybacks.

I think Alliance could've ended the game if Niko ignored the three remaining heroes while Miracle was dead since the respawn timers was still at 10-15 seconds left but he chose to kill/zone the two supports at the back.

My single live bet hit again, id say a lot easier making picks while watching the game rather than just looking at h2h and map pool stats pre,
too bad i don't have enough time to do this more often. Astralis in control from the start (9 straight rounds on Nuke), FaZe looked helpless at times, quick and easy one for Astralis.

What do you know, we have more coaches admit of using the coach bug:

Rejin suspended from mousesports as he confesses to coaching bug use
F_1N admits to one-time coaching bug use, gets suspended by Gambit

NaVi lost 0-2 to ENCE, should i even ask... Cheesy
of course they lost LOL

anywho, i'm watching the LCK split final right now, trying to get fired up before the game that i'm looking forward to watch today: G2 - Rogue...but it looks like it's gonna be a clean 3-0 for DWG (so many pauses, though). But for the LEC match, i have

https://i.ibb.co/RTK5Jv2/g2.png

also have a Dota ticket, Team Secret -1.5...they're looking so good lately, only dropped one game in the last 6 series (12-1), this is like the Secret before the break edit* unlucky, Secret shit the bed and G2 not in a good day,, only Complexity got me a win today but meh

I missed all games today, but i was able to get something off my live bet against Heroic just now. AGO finally beat them 2-1 after wasting multiple match points, i think it was 6 or 7, last two maps in overtime. The Danes are 0-2 to start the ESL Pro, "no cheats - can't win" or they hungover off their major win last week? They still have 5 matches left, but it will be hard making the top 4 and subsequently advancing to PO.

There is a good news for Astralis fans though that gla1ve is back and is reported to start today with es3tag sitting out this one.
the only good news for me today cuz i got rekt in my csgo tickets, one of them was Astralis ML ):  dev1ce not looking good lately, the other day missing some easy shots in key rounds, and today with an underwhelming performance :/

I think they played up good there. But yeah they missed some easy shots in rounds so yeah not that expected from Astralis. Only thing that was dot perfect from Astralis was usage of utilities yesterday. They should have won their pick Train but at 15-14 and with Complexity running with 4 deags and 1 scout on poizon they really did a mess there. They should have won the Train at least but they messed it up or let's say complexity played them on that round.

I was able to shake off the bad start of the week with decent wins today, both of my parlays hit (for a change), both with over 4.00 total odds.

Basically getting all 4 games from ESL Pro correct. fnatic and Spirit was the easiest pick of all O2.5, COL and Astralis was the opposite, extremely hard to predict, but i thought COL ML had some value and i took it, in all fairness game could have gone either way, two overtimes. Gen.G and G2 clutched 2-0 wins to make my day!

Did you guys watch first map beetween Viking and Aliance? Damn what a match, 96 minutes for one map, all the heroes maxed out, bunch of fights with whole teams buying back.... Crazy stuff.
late reply but I did watch it, i remember that at some point in the game the casters were like "if both teams keep playing it safe, this game could be infinite" and i was like "WTF???" lol almost 100min, but the crazy ending was totally worth it!!

talking about Dota, tomorrow, couple of big games in the Immortal Division, i'm going with:
Nigma - Team Liquid https://i.ibb.co/4jX0DMN/nig.png
Evil Geniuses - Alliance https://i.ibb.co/5xQS935/all.png (EG have a good record vs. Alliance, though)

Fnatic just won against Team Spirit 2-1 . Lost the first map but really did great as a team wrecking team spirit on Inferno and Train. Loved it.

Astralis vs Complexity is up next but can they continue their form. There is a good news for Astralis fans though that gla1ve is back and is reported to start today with es3tag sitting out this one. So it would be magisk, dev1ce, dupreeh, bubjki and gla1ve starting out today. Complexity are another good opponents and they shouldn't be undermined as well.

Next map will probably be over in 20 minutes  Wink
I only caught the last 15-20 minutes of that game and I have to say that last teamfight was pretty intense.

Faze hasn't been in their best form recently but I was expecting them to win at least given how bad mousesports have been recently. Woxic was benched and bymas came in as replacement for mousesports and it turned out well. Slightly narrow win so can't say mousesports is back with their best form.
I agree that series was more on Faze struggling rather than mousesports doing good but still it's a good start for them we'll see how far they'll go with Bymas.

The upper bracket matches for the Omega League starts in less than an hour, i'm going for Team Nigma @1.55 the h2h favors OG but Team Nigma still looking great even without Kuroky.

The odds for Secret is low but the handicap is tempting @1.68 I might grab it later if Nigma wins.

Faze -1.5 is probably my last bet for today and nothing is going in my way recently so I won't be surprised if mousesports gets a map here.  Lips sealed

I am still disappointed with woxic being benched but they also have a good reason since he hasn't been best with his role within the team. Hope he finds his way back again into the team.

Oi, you guys forgot about Dota or what?  Grin Huge game for Alliance today, gonna back them in a single https://i.ibb.co/K91sFBs/dot.png  also, have Vitality ML in another ticket
I didn't forget about Dota, I had a parlay for the ESL SEA playoffs but lost it on SAG as they got stomped pretty hard by BOOM.

They are still probably the favorites but now I am afraid to put high stake bet on them.
go medium or low
Heroic just won a big tourney, they have the momentum, while ENCE are playing their first competitive cs match in like a month. Match today shouldn't be the benchmark to test how Heroic will manage without a coach in this tournament. I'll avoid them for the time being
Avoiding them is right, I feel bad for taking them earlier I thought it's going to be a quick 2-0 after the first map but I was wrong.  Tongue
