Its his job to critique so he'll pick a fight with everyone but its not especially valid to evaluate performance right now as online is alot different to LAN for most teams.    I've heard him come out with far worse, its true enough teamwork is key to csgo consistent wins but we already know they dont have their full team.   Turns out they need the full team, he is not getting a cigar for this one.  Thorin has had a go at just about everyone in the game, he puts alot of bias to IGL players who typically under-perform while doing that job.

ENCE and Vitality are the two teams to qualify for BLAST Premier EU Finals. I was rooting for MAD Lions to advance, but they lost in a very competitive/close game vs ENCE in two maps. They still have a chance though, play-in match vs NiP next week. To be seen...

What do you guys think about complexity +1.5 and vitality ml totals at about 1.99....or simply go with complexity ml?

Aliance-Secret - over 3.5 @1,45
Man, Alliance did not show up today at all :/  they had a couple of good team fights in game 3 but that's it...

Well, that's enough Dota for me, gonna go ahead and take a long break just chill and wait for the BLAST Bounty Hunt...which starts next Tuesday  Grin Roll Eyes

No picks for tomorrow, CSGO matches are meh.

I wasn't able to watch first 2 maps but this 3rd one was all the time in Secret favor. As you said Aliance had a few nice team fights and nikobaby did good job on that PL but that was nowhere near enough to turn the tables on Secret. Really thought that Aliance will manage to take at least one map but in the end it was another bad day for my bank Smiley

I checked the drafts a bit and it seems to me that Aliance lost all the maps in the drafting stage. To win against team Secret you need both perfect draw and perfect execution and they weren't even close on either point.

Alliance didn't show up ? I think it was more like Team Secret being "Team Secret" freaking terrific! I also had the Over 3.5.

Elsewhere I've got Vitality ML looks like they'll complete their come back after the sloppy 1st Map.

I don't know why Thorin is so mad or started beef with dev1ce though. Is there a history between them? I do agree that he should just ignore this guy, it is true that he is a good analyst but that doesn't mean that he should call dev1ce a loser. They won multiple majors, consecutive wins even. If dev1ce is a loser, what am I?

He doesn't have any previous beef with device and we all feel like it was a publicity stunt from Thorin. As analyst I think you should note all the things. Astralis is going through tough time and its gotta take time to build on. Seriously wasn't expected from such senior analyst and commentator to lash out on twitter, seems kinda immature.

dev1ce should've just ignored him tho, I mean, Thoring called him a loser Huh in what way is God Dev1ce a loser? Thorin wanted attention, he threw the bait and Astralis took it...smh.

What are your betting selections for today?

My high stake ticket has:
PSG.LGD -1.5  @1.45  -this one already started, first map was a bit of the scare but PSG managed to take it
Aliance-Secret - over 3.5 @1,45 - hopefully this one should go over easy, Aliance now knows that they can take Secret, and Secret will be gunning for some revenge.

My low stake ticket has the two above plus some football and following CS:
Mad Lions ML @1.8
Vitality ML @ 1.5

Don't trust the CS selections much today but it would be bloody nice if it all goes according to the plan Smiley

How terrible do you feel you added a relatively small-odd bet to your single bet to boost the total Odds a bit and then bang! You lost the bet because of that ? It stings right ? I still haven't come to terms with myself, I took Mbir ML live during the 2nd Map they were around 2-6 up (not sure) @2.44 and I really don't know what I was thinking, I looked for another live game to increase the Odds to at least 3x, the rest they say is history  Sad

Ouch!!, That's hard. Happens with me as well. I also know the feeling of getting tempted with low odds in order to push the bet a little further and boost the odds. Sometimes it hits and sometimes it doesn't. Hope you didn't had quite some money on that one... otherwise gonna sting more.  Undecided

Haven't tried betting Costa Rican football but corners are really risky especially outside the major leagues. Also wasn't there any other major league going on like bundesliga at that time? (game wasn't that good but still you would have found some good markets to bet on to boost the odds on the betslip).

Now Thorin vs device @tomahawk9: https://www.essentiallysports.com/csgo-thorin-lashes-out-at-astralis-members-on-twitter-coldzera-dev1ce-mibr-twitter-esports-news-2020/

They are world champions, I never understood why they arent still that same threat.    Did they just get older or some obvious problem or other teams got better and specifically adapted to their tactics because when you are at the top it makes you the target of everyone in the game.   I still remember them being nobody and defeating Fnatic on mirage, they werent even paid properly at that time and Flusha gifted them plane flights I think it was for a LAN.

I see they have each won the others map pick and now Dust2 decider, glad Tarik and his team arent failing badly at least.  Still slightly surprising to me, not a confident bet.

I guess they are at the point where they are burning out. This is the hardest part in esports, professional players do it non-stop. Practice over practice and continuous tournaments to attend to, that is why players can he easily burn out and retire, no choice but do streaming or coach. I guess TariK can do better but they are being covered by this new players that can dominate the majors and minors. Even s1mple is falling behind Zywoo.

Man, TACO and FalleN is such a deadly duo. IIRC FalleN had like 16 kills in round 7 of map 1? something crazy like that lol Good luck in your picks.

Yeah 16-17 in just 7 rounds, he was really unstoppable in initial rounds of map 1. His whole team had kills in single figures while he already passed the double figures. TACO wasn't good in map 1 but he did good and lifted the play for MIBR in map 2 and map 3.

Let's see how MIBR performs today against EG.

We almost got one. Triumph were close to KO'ing Gen.G but the latter manage made a great comeback.

MIBR vs Cloud9 was really fun to watch. <...>

Most NA games have been 10/10 so far so i'm going with NA teams again:
CSGO
FURIA - Gen.G O2.5 @1.94
EG - MIBR O2.5 @1.88
Dota
Team Secret -1.5 @1.65

GJ @tomahawk9. Seems like you are on good win streak.

MIBR vs Cloud9 was really fun to watch. MIBR are really not that good in overpass but still they had a good lead playing on CT side. Fallen really played godlike as expected with his AWP. Also insane comeback from MIBR in map 2 (inferno) and map 3 (dust2).

Today we have some crazy quarterfinals in Blast Premier Spring. Will go with Europe first:

Fnatic vs Vitality (my pick: over 2.5 maps @1.86)
ENCE vs mousesports (my pick: ENCE ML @1.99 / safer with ENCE +1.5 (@1.31))

Team Liquid were given an auto win and were 1-0 because of Nigma's internet issues, but the latter cameback with gunz blazing and absolutely dominated Liquid in game 2, wtf??

game 2 lasted a lot less than ESL one's commercials, just 13min Grin thank u, Team Earlygg https://i.ibb.co/ChVj1W1/earlygg.png

I hate that happening so much that I burdened myself with a rule that I will never play odds below 1.5 on my high stake ticket. over/under.
I don't usually go with 1.50 or below in my singles, it's just not a good long-term strategy, plus, there's no fun in going with 1.30 or 1.20 =P

Team Secret you mean  Cheesy

I had Team Secret ML in a 3-game parlay and honestly, I must thanks to the auto 1 Map win, Nigma could have won it, but it would have been such a big shame if ended losing the game despite the early advantage.

Haha, I'm watching and witnessed this game. I can't believe that Puppey's gang have to call GG that early but it's them, pro players usually do this whenever they see a lot of errors and there's no chance for turning the tides in favor of them.
The early set for Game 3 was in favor of Nigma and it's still on going as I type this, W33 managed to dominate Nisha's morphling but it's morphling and can adopt any scenario and Nisha coped up. 20-6 is the score and the game is in favor of Team Secret, not yet finished but I don't think Miracle's spec will carry this game even if he goes full pack items.

I can't believe i took those miserable 1.17 odds to fill my parlay
Trying to boost those odds a little bit, huh? Been there, done that...And it stings when it doesn't go your way :/

I hate that happening so much that I burdened myself with a rule that I will never play odds below 1.5 on my high stake ticket. I try to avoid them completely and usually take a handicap on the opponents in that situations.

Still managed to lose a low stake ticket due to that match yesterday. My local bookie has a special offer of boosted odds if you have 6 games on your multi ticket and I had 5 choices yesterday and decided to add that game as well. Unfortunately, I can just play match lines BO1 CS games, no handicaps or over/under.
