[DOTA 2, Thursday, June 17th] Day 1 of ESL One Summer was very interesting. A few of the favourites fall, and with excitement we are waiting for what will happen on the day 2.The most exciting matches we will watch in the lower bracket, where some teams will drop out of the tournament already, after day 2.

T1 vs Vikin.gg: T1 ML @ 1.55 | ANALYSIS
Quincy Crew vs Tundra: Tundra ML @ 2.27 | ANALYSIS
Team Nigma vs Team Secret: Team Secret ML @ 1.95 | ANALYSIS
OG vs Team Liquid: OG ML @ 1.54 | ANALYSIS

Just pointing some prediction, as for now the T1 already into the international qualifiers which is good and right now they are trying to participate in this event because still, they are in Europe with this match up they have a good cores kuku for offlane, 23savage for safe lane and Karl (Karl Santino) from Dota 1 pro player with kuku since back days. In game 2 they manage to began a comeback to the game.

For the Quincy crew they are still dominating the game they kick off the Nigma to their battle. As for now the battle against team secret still they are hiding something with their drafts some rumours says they want to keep this strategy until the Ti10

Of course for the team liquid previous alliance players still good but the OG comes a new core which is sumail because already Ana the humble god leave the world of dota.

They are strong but the problem is that they can't finish strong when it comes to other teams, I have watched their matches against strong teams and they are having a hard time, look at what happened during the Singapore Major, the Chinese team have the last laugh.
I think one of the issue why they cannot end well is how Bulba coaching and picking their heroes. If Bulba sees that their picks are already countered and the opponent knows how to then he should have some plan of picking another heroes that are new to their opponent.

By the way, ESL One Summer 2021 has already started.

I don't think that it's the reason, there are some picks that is decent and good but they seem to have a problem with finishing what they started and as I have pointed in the Grand Finals of Singapore Major, they have the lead but they got destroyed 3 straight games.
They got destroyed because the opponent have already knew how to counter their picks. It's basic for those teams to counter each hero that dominated their first games.

And that's what happened to singapore major, thinking of Abed playing Storm Spirit most of those games? that's hectic and uncomfortable for him I guess.

That's an exciting match up, will there be another good team that will beat these two TI champions?
I'd put Tundra and Team Liquid up there as well even though these teams doesn't have the best results they still have what it takes to keep up with OG and Team Nigma.

I'm expecting a couple of upsets in the qualifiers since there's a possibility for teams to start overperforming knowing this is the event that matters the most for all pro players.
Those two are good teams too, actually most of the teams that are in WEU are good to compete with these two TI champs. But the crowd favorites are Nigma and OG.

I consider EG still as a strong team and they've always been consistent in the group stages. Animajor and the singapore majors, they've also been on the same situation and I agree to you about Bo5. Chinese teams are good at it and they've never been exhausted to play such.

Yeah, that was a sweet sweep of 3-0 by LGD on EG which i dont expect that EG wont really be making at least 1 win on BO5 game.

When i do look up their roster then its actually the players of Wings gaming back in 2016 which it isnt surprising that those plays

are way too coordinated and very well executed and which the reason that makes them dominate.

PSG.LGD is now the strongest team and their roster is considerably good and can be compared with the old roster with some players from Elephant. But the new PSG.LGD got 2 players who became TI champs, Faith_Bian and Y(Innocence) and their experience being used by the team and as well as getting help from their teammates sure helps a lot.
Usually LGD do really choked when it comes to Finals specially in TI's but i do see this time on the new members and if this members would retain until
TI10 then this would really be a solid contender for the Champion.

OG had no more Ana has already retired and been replaced by Suma1l which i dont see to be enough on getting that TI in 3peat.

Experience does matter and both 2 players you do had mentioned does have experience on winning a TI so expected on what are the capabilities are.
That's the old roster of LGD but we've got two TI champs on their board and three good players too. Well, Ana decided to actually retire from Dota 2 unlike his decision before that has been announced as his retirement too. But this time, this is the serious retirement.

With the hardship on the EU region, Nigma and OG and other good teams on that region has to battle for 1 slot to TI.

That's an exciting match up, will there be another good team that will beat these two TI champions?

I've eyed for Alliance that will be one of the teams that will be left until the finals but that's it. Just an update about Alliance, Boxi is back and Sumail is back again as a free player.

Team Liquid confirms Boxi will return for The International qualifiers, SumaiL becomes free agent
I already had low expectations on Alliance after their early exit at the singapore major but wasn't expecting them to go out this early in the playoffs as well.

With Boxi back in the roster I feel like Team Liquid might struggle in the qualifiers since they barely made it during the first season but we'll see and hopefully sumail finds a team next season after putting up a solid performance for Team Liquid throughout the second half of the season.

Alliance vs Team Spirit: Alliance ML @ 1.59 | ANALYSIS
I also went with this pick since Alliance will most likely put up a good fight regardless of the points. With less games played Alliance have the better advantage since they could analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Team Spirit based on the group stage matches. In terms of playstyle I think these two are equal but Alliance have the better experience with Niko.
6 teams left.

2 at the two bracket. At the upper bracket, PSG.LGD and T1. While on the lower bracket, Quincy Crew and VG & Team Nigma and EG.

[DOTA 2, Thursday, June 10th] Day 1 of AniMajor finished in a pretty unexpected way. On the Day 2 focus is on the lower bracket. Elimination matches are here and all the pressure is on those teams.

Since Weplay Esports is the one who organized this tourney then I don't have also the idea on why they do pick up that name AniMajor.
Here's some informations about them: https://liquipedia.net/dota2/WePlay_Esports
They probably want to cater to the anime watching fans of DOTA and non-DOTA fans that have the same interest in Anime. I think the reason is that it just sounds really good to the ears when you combine Anime and Major to make a portmanteau of a name. Or maybe the abundance of anime reference for different events in DOTA scene may have lead to the naming of the major.
I think it's just a theme that they all agreed because usually their majors doesn't have that kind of theme so they made it to have something new. Since they're likely seeing a lot of these players have been watching anime.

It's just to feel the theme that they're also liking the anime style that they've made. I think that we're going to see more when the last two teams are in the finals, more better cosplay I think.
