The match of OG and Hellbear smashers just ended. Are there folks who bet for the winner of this series?

OG won.

2-1.
-snip-

I tailed rand's prediction (OG -1.5) on this match but unfortunately, it didn't hit. Oh he didn't posted it here.
Hellbear smashers are having a good run recently, they mostly won 1 map against top EU teams and I think it's better compared to their result before the Singapore Major or before the new patch.

I don't know OG were planning on game 2 but their draft looks really weak and got stomped for it.

-snip-
I didn't notice that ANA is already on the team named as "humblegod" lol.
Yeahh there was a great hype when he returned to the team, but I think OG and Ana will take some time to adapt to the current patch. They lost against Liquid who were getting destroyed by other regions teams in the previous Major.

That's a crazy strategy from them on the 3rd game. Mid troll and carry Anti-Mage.
As usual into those OG unpredictable picks and laning.I didn't expect that Troll would be on the mid and it would be better if he handles out Offlane but I was wrong.

Also it's hard to rank the teams in China since their region is very stacked and much more competitive compared to most of the regions where there's always one or two teams who are ahead of the rest.
Yeah, these Chinese teams might be very very competitive against each other but its a bit weird for me to watch them making questionable moves and engaging in bad fights in china region tournament while they're very very very rarely to do those kinds of things against teams from other regions.

It has been happening for a long time, but after watching the Singapore Major and China DPC Upper and I-League, it reminds me again.

Maybe they are just warming up, I mean this is just a DPC season so there is no incentive performing really good yet, they did good during the Singapore Major although they lost against Evil Geniuses, they are still a strong contender when TI finally arrives.
The best time to perform is literally this season since they've removed the qualifiers for TI but that match was from the iLeague tournament and there's less stake on the line compared to the upper division matches so it's not a surprise for any team to drop a series or two.

The saturation of teams on  China is also another factor and it's not really the best time since there are still a lot of chances for them and PSG did get some DPC in the last Major. That is a new development that I have heard of TI, I think the DPC season is the qualifier.

PSG lostt  Undecided. I think they're not superior like they used to be against Chinese teams. I don't know if they're changing or experimenting with something but they had a pretty good run in the Singapore Major before and they were very strong against other region teams.

Perhaps they're planning to do some experiments in regional matches and going all out in international events? Its really unpredictable  Undecided

Complexity Gaming vs GameAgents   Shocked very hard match for the Agents they will lose.
Complexity has a more synergized team in my opinion so I would back your claim that CG is going against this team, maybe a comeback or some clutch plays will happen but I will still go for CG even if they lose, that means there is a surprise.

[DOTA 2, Monday April 26th] At the start of the new week, we are following Chinese i-League and ESL One CIS lower division with a interesting series. Here are my picks and predictions for Monday.

PSG.LGD vs EHOME: PSG.LGD ML

This year, those two teams played 4 series. 3 matches went to PSG.LGD, while 1 match went to EHOME. That’s kinda significant since their last series was a 3-1 crushdown for EHOME. In this league, EHOME are very strong for now. With 4 wins and 2 losses they are holding 1st place right now. PSG.LGD played just 1 series as they won against Elephant. This could go to all 3 maps, but I prefer going with a ML here on PSG.LGD. I think they are straight favourites to win this one, but EHOME can take a map because of their rising form lately.

Team Aster vs Royal Never Give Up: Royal Never Give Up +1.5

Aster did win their yesterday’s series vs EHOME with a clean 2-0, but in the recent Singapore Major they were not so good and dominant. I can say Royal Never Give Up is rising in form and they are not doing bad at all. They play very nice, even if that’s maybe not enough to beat top teams. However, I do think they can pull off a map off every top 5 Chinese teams and beat them in some cases. They’ve crushed Elephant with a 2-0 in the Chinese DPC Upper Division which came as a big surprise too. Aster are real favourites here, but I think RNG can repeat the performance vs Elephant and take a map off and be a real danger for Aster. Everything is open here regarding maps, but I wouldn’t say it’s very easy for RNG, because it’s not. Odds are better on handicap then on Aster ML, which is good for us too.

NoTechies vs HellRaisers: HellRaisers -1.5

HellRaisers are absolute favourites here. Their new lineup is looking very solid and strong in most cases, especially when they are playing lower tier teams like NoTechies. HellRaisers had a perfect start in this league. With 2 straight wins and 4-0 in maps, they have 100% efficiency. On the other side, NoTechies are on the bottom of the table with the exact same result, but matches and maps lost. 0-2 and 0-4. I’m sure NoTechies can’t beat HellRaisers, but hopefully HR will show themselves in their best form to take down this series easily with 2-0. Everything else will be a big disappointment.

[DOTA 2, Friday April 23rd] China region is the most competitive region currently with action being held on 2 fronts. DPC and i-League are in full force, and matches are being played daily. Today, we will follow China and CIS DPC region with 2 amazing series.

EHOME vs Sparking Arrow Gaming: EHOME -1.5 @ 1.67

EHOME is fighting for 1st place in the rankings here. With a win here, they can take over Elephant on top most probably. Sparking Arrow Gaming is placed at the bottom of the rankings currently as the last team in the league with 2 losses out of 2 matches. 0-2 vs Elephant and 0-2 vs RNG are their current results with 0 maps won. They are most probably the weakest team in this Upper Division. On the other side EHOME are on the rise, as they are playing better and better. With 1 win and 1 loss they are holding 2nd place currently. I’m confident that they will beat SAG today, but -1.5 handicap is a hit here. There is a high chance for EHOME 2-0 SAG here.

Vici Gaming vs Royal Never Give Up: RNG +1.5 @ 1.44

Vici Gaming are favourites here, that’s for sure. Those two teams still haven't faced each other yet this year and this will be a very interesting series. RNG are the 2nd ranked team in the i-League currently with 3 wins and 2 losses and they are playing very solid. This will be the first series for Vici Gaming in 3 weeks. They didn’t play any official matches from Singapore Major. RNG is in uprise for sure, they played an amazing series vs SAG, EHOME and Elephant. All 2-0 scores. They are surely in the form with which they can beat Vici. Vici tends to be the strongest team in China, but we will see how they will return in the Season 2, after slight pause. I think it will be a close one.

Winstrike vs Team Unique: Winstrike ML @ 1.94

This will be a very close series, i’m sure. Winstrike are slight favourites, but Unique are not a bad squad at all. Especially now with fn joining them. 3 maps are highly possible here, but my money is on Winstrike. Their last series in the previous weeks and months were pretty good, and I do believe Team Unique needs some time to gather some experience together. Even though I'm afraid that fn can carry them easily, he is such a good player. Winstrike beat EXTREMUM with a 2-1 in the round 1, while Unique struggled against PuckChamp (2-1). This series is open. Great value in Winstrike ML.

VirtusPro vs PuckChamp: VirtusPro -1.5 @ 1.46

This should be a one way street. VirtusPro was the strongest CIS squad in the season 1, let’s see in what form they will perform in season 2. Spirit is quite strong and close to them right now. VP did beat strong Gambit with 2-1 in the round 1, while PuckChamp lost to Unique. This should be an easy job for VirtusPro. Their win should be guaranteed, but -1.5 handicap is a way to go here if you want to get some returns. Not so high risk, decent returns. VirtusPro should collect their 2nd win in the division here.

[DOTA 2, Thursday 22nd] My picks and bets for today:

PSG.LGD vs Elephant: PSG.LGD ML @ 1.67

Fantastic Five vs HellRaisers: HellRaisers -1.5 @ 1.34

Well known HellRaisers are facing a pretty unknown Fantastic Five squad. This could go only one way, with HellRaisers taking the win. Those two squads are far away from each other in terms of skill. Fantastic Five had a pretty busy April as they played a couple of matches already and the month is still not over. With mostly scoring 0-2 losses they need to face a much bigger squad now. They already have one loss vs Empire in the lower division and I do think this will be their 2nd loss. HR has a pretty scary lineup on paper, and in terms of experience and skill they are far beyond F5. -1.5 handicap should work here.

Team Empire vs Prosti Esli: Prosti Esli ML @ 1.53

This could be a really interesting series. Even tho Prosli Esli are solid favourites here, Empire is a team that can always make a mess on the tier 2 CIS scene. None of those teams played any official matches in a week or so, and Esli’s last series was a 2-1 win vs B8 in the lower division of this competition. Empire opened their participation with a straight 2-0 win vs Fantastic Five, but that was expected. In this one, they should be on the back foot, even though they could have their moments. Odds are decent on Prosti ML win, and that’s the way you should look at. I’m not so sure regarding handicaps in this one.

Natus Vincere vs EXTREMUM: NaVi -1.5 @ 1.43

NaVi’s first official match since February was their series against Team Spirit last week, which they lost with 0-2. After adding Ramzes to their roster / position 3 they will surely need some time to adjust. Pity for Ramzes, he wasn’t lucky in any of the teams he has been in, but surely he is a quality player. Even though EXTREMUM is an okay-ish squad, I do believe NaVi is capable of overrunning them. EXTREMUM’s last match was a 1-2 loss vs Winstrike and that says everything. Their lineup is solid, but they just can’t perform, especially vs big teams like NaVi.

[DOTA 2, Wednesday 21st] Today we are following 3 series from 3 different DPC divisions. The SEA match with Execration and Fnatic will be the hottest series of the day for the SEA fans. Nigma vs Liquid will face off in the match of the day in the EU region. Here are my picks and predictions.

Execration vs Fnatic: Fnatic -1.5 @ 1.76

Fnatic and Execration will face off in their 2nd series of the year. They played each other in January and Fnatic won that series convincingly with 2-0. This will be Fnatic’s first series in this DPC season 2, while Execration already played 2 series. They lost both of the series with a 1-5 map win-loss ratio. Fnatic are massive favourites here, but I wonder if they can take this series in a clean sweep. Opportunity is good, but Fnatic didn’t play any official matches since Singapore Major. We will see in what form they will return to the scene, but I believe they have a high chance of taking this 2-0.

Hippomaniacs vs Chicken Fighters: Chicken Fighters -1.5 @ 48

Hippomaniacs are the lowest ranked and the weakest team in this division most probably. However, Chicken Fighters are not in their top form. After losing their support from their organization, they still decided to still play together and persuade their professional careers. Their lineup on the paper is good, but they are missing something to go one step ahead. With Charlie and Supreme they should own this series. They have an ideal opponent today to be able to show all they can and that is not easily giving maps vs lower and weaker teams. I predict 2-0 here for Chickens.

Nigma vs Team Liquid: Nigma ML @ 1.66

This is surely the match of the day. I must go with Nigma here. After their amazing series and win vs Team Secret in the last round, it’s hard to bet against them. Yes, Secret is not playing their A game, but still, Nigma showed amazing plays and series. Especially if we take into account that they have a fresh new player, iLTW, who is jumping into w33 shoes. Liquid is an amazing team, but they’ve lost to Alliance in the round 1, with 1-2. Even though I predicted Liquid to win there, Alliance’s NikoBaby was just too strong for them. And that is something it’s very important for this series. Liquid is bad in dealing with top carry players, especially if they are fed too much. And Miracle- will be doing just that.

While for the other matches that you have rand, I agree with your picks, Team Secret and OG.

[DOTA 2, Tuesday April 20th] Three premier matches will be played today. A Chinese one, followed by 2 big European clashes are on the schedule on Tuesday.

Elephant vs Sparking Arrow Gaming: Elephant -1.5 @ 1.40

Sparking Arrow Gaming switched their lineup quite a lot this year. They are nowhere the same squad that they were last year. And their last results are showing just that. In their last 5 matches they have 0 wins. On the other side, Elephant fell to average too. But they are still doing good, as in their last 5 matches they have only 1 loss. They are on a 2 match winning streak, vs Magma and Royal Never Give Up. In this Chinese DPC Upper Division, Elephant are currently holding 1st place with 1 win, while SAG are holding last place with 1 loss. And that might be a real picture here, as SAG is surely one of the weakest teams here, and their position shouldn’t change a lot. Elephant are a massive favourite here and I expect them to 2-0 SAG, easily.

Team Secret vs Hellbear Smashers: Team Secret -1.5 @ 1.46

What happened in the round 1 of this DPC division? Secret got outclassed by Team Nigma with 0-2, while Hellbear Smashers got beaten by Tundra Esports with 1-2. As both teams started their group stage run with losses, I wonder what can happen here. Secret is shocked and shaken as they didn’t look too good in their match vs Nigma. However, the difference between those two teams should be measured in miles, even though Nigma beat them. But anyway, Nigma is better than Hellbear Smashers too. This should go only one way. Team Secret winning this is priority, and I don’t believe Puppey will allow jokes and meme plays. Secret 2-0 here is my prediction.

Alliance vs OG: OG ML @ 1.45

This is a match of the day for sure. Two excellent teams, and all hype will be on this match. Alliance rising in form and OG with ana back in helm sounds promising. This could be a very action packed match, but I do believe all 3 maps are an option here and there is a high possibility for that. Otherwise, I do believe OG are slight favourites here even though odds are kinda low on them. But that’s ana effect, I would say. OG crushed Brame in their 1st match with ana, but Alliance was stronger than Liquid, 2-1. My money is on OG, but it could be a thought series eventually.

[DOTA 2, Monday April 19th] We are opening the new week with a Chinese i-League 2021 match and two EU / CIS DPC matches.

Royal Never Give Up vs Team Magma: Royal Never Give Up -1.5 @ 1.80, Pinnacle

This will be a clash between the 2nd and 8th ranked teams in the league. RNG is firmly holding 2nd place with 5 matches behind them already. With 3 wins and 2 losses they are not looking too bad. Especially if we take into consideration that they already played the strongest teams in the league. Magma on the other side, is the weakest team in the league and they are holding the last place with 4 straight losses. From 9 maps played, they only won 1, which is terrible. RNG already faced magma in their first match in the league scoring 2-0. While I do believe this time there will be the same situation, I think that we need to be careful here. Magma is surely capable of surprising and RNG lost their last series to EHOME. Risky bet, but if you want safer go big on RNG ML. Lower odds, safer returns.

B8 vs NoTechies: B8 +1.5 @ 1.45, GGbet

NoTechies with a new lineup are slight favourites here, but I don’t believe too much in them. This will be an open series for sure and I do believe B8 can surely take a map here. They are one of the worst teams in the DPC in the least seasons, but this could be a team that they can beat actually. Their first series went to 3 maps vs Prosti Esli, but they’ve lost it. I hardly believe that B8 will do anything in this league, but I do think they can fight out vs such teams as NoTechies. NoTechies is a squad captained by a famous Solo, but their new lineup didn’t have a good time in their first series. They couldn’t beat Nemiga, as they were crushed with 0-2. B8 will have a real chance here, at least to bring it to 3 maps.

Vikin.gg vs No Bounty Hunter: Vikin.gg -1.5 @ 1.40, Pinnacle

No Bounty Hunters are already 1-0 in this division, but I don’t think they will have too much chance vs Vikin.gg who are a team few levels above them. Actually, No Bounty Hunters are one of the weakest teams here, together with Hippomaniacs, a team that they’ve beat in the round 1. Vikin.gg have a win to, 2-1 vs Level Up. This will be a chance for them to slightly start leaning to the top of the rankings, because that’s the most logical thing here. They are the favourites to take 1st place in the division, and they must show that here, especially vs lower level teams like No Bounty Hunters. Handicap is a good way to go, anything else doesn’t make sense. Terrible odds otherwise.

2.99 bet with 200$ possible to win 614,65$   Bet on Unikrn

Used to bet with Unikrn all the time but they wanted proof of address and all sorts, seems completely unnecessary for me a quite low pleb bettor, Im a long way from being maxamillion break the bank type that might even have to be of concern for taxes or whatever anyway.   Not worth the hassle so havent used them for ages, shame as I had some good luck there.   I wasnt even using crypto, they have completely arbitrary tokens but I guess they had aspirations to market the company and my simple daily bet good times changed.  The part owner is Marc Cuban on shark tank I think

Bad News Bears vs Triumph, I will go with bears its one to watch a little bet a little to decide for future games.

Personally, I am an EG fan but ever since Bulba became the drafter. It has come to light that their strategy would only work within Best of 2's but when it comes to Best of 3's, Bulba is fixated on doing the same strategy over and over again and that is why some teams against EG will always have an edge after some games. Bulba picked Storm straight 5 times and they did not even have an answer to the Phoenix and Lion opening that IG have on game 3. Imo, EG would not win any tournaments as long as Bulba is their drafter/coach.
We do not know if that's also Abed's decision or request but for sure that they've came along with agreement that Bulba and Abed have come up with Storm pick for those games consecutively.

On other teams, I have watched the new roster of Nigma with ILTW and they have destroyed Team Secret two games in a row.
