So the participants of the play offs are now set. The participants in the play offs have now been determined. I have to say, I feel pretty sorry for Team Liquid. After a good performance in match 2 against EG, they were in the lead for most of the tiebreaker match as well. Then they made a single mistake where first the invoker died and then 3 other team members including Luna. Until then, Luna was ahead by a large margin in net worth, but after that match the tide turned and Drow ranger was unstoppable. I also like the panel of the tiebreaker very much, very entertaining to watch.  Smiley
The tiebreaker was about an easy win for the Team Liquid.

That mistake made by Sumail of going behind knowing that his teammates were still quite far is a wrong move. He didn't expected that lion was hiding on the trees cliff of the secret shop and stopped the centaur and enchantress to help him kill the DR.

And it's a turnover that it was his invoker got killed solo by the DR and that's it, the rest is history.

[DOTA 2, Monday June 7th] It's the final day of the AniMajor group stages. 4 matches remain, 4 matches that will determine a lot of things. Only team that is safe for now is PSG.LGD. They already secured top 2 and upper bracket playoffs. Here are my picks and predictions for Day 4 of group stages.

I also got the same pick on Team Nigma and it's looking good as the odds are now down to 1.90 on some bookies.

With VG going down 0-1 after the first game Team Nigma only need one win to avoid any potential tiebreakers and secure the upper bracket but hopefully they still get the 2-0 here.
You have won that bet. Nigma took down Vici Gaming with a 2-0 in that match after that, Nigma beat BC.

With all of those wins, Nigma ended to the upper bracket.

IG won 2-0 against Secret but both teams from the wild card have been eliminated and it's has able to catch the next stage.

More bets rand on June 5-a and 5-b and then June 6 and 7.

But I think it's the playoffs is the most exciting part.

Seems to me that this is going to be a really good major, a lot of powerhouse teams are going to play in this Major and why did they name it as AniMajor though? That's what I am curious about.
I'm guessing the anime theme is inspired by the netflix animated series Dragon's blood that's based on Dragon Knight's lore which is one of the many heroes in the game and WePlay's production is really good when it comes to things like these.

After the first day results it's surprising how close these teams are than they should've been on paper.

Since Weplay Esports is the one who organized this tourney then I don't have also the idea on why they do pick up that name AniMajor.

I disagree about this part, back then in VP they had a lot of solid results with pasha and Solo winning some majors but they failed to finish strong in TI kind of similar to Team Secret. Not sure what's the actual reason but Ramzes probably lost his drive to play carry with the meta changing one patch after the other. During that time Sumail also moved to the offlane role but it didn't work out for him then tried the carry role (trial with OG) and then back to the mid position now with Team Liquid.
AFAIK, they only did get one Major Cup when they were in VP but after that as you have said, they didn't perform at their best in TI, I think that they got picked off by the least favorite team to win the TI or I could be wrong. I really want to see Ramzes go back to playing carry because I feel like it is his strongest suit to be positioned in.

they don't seem to be that good even with Solo as the captain and 9pasha.

Looks like they're reuniting the old vp roster back once again with Rodjer, Noone and Ramzes. I still have doubts on Ramzes' offlane performance since he wasn't able to deliver unlike General. The qualifiers will be tough for them since it's likely for Team Spirit to not qualify via DPC points but we'll see how things go for them at the major.
Ramzes is better as a carry in my opinion. And you are right to have doubts because back when they were still in VP, they don't seem to be that good even with Solo as the captain and 9pasha.

Thanks for sharing the update.

NoOne + RAMZES666 + RodjER + SoNNeikO

They are indeed seriously targeting to quality in TI 10. This sounds interesting.
It does look like a power house team but some of the players have played together with their other temmates a long time now and I have been watching their career ever since they were still on VP so I have doubts that they will be able to grab a really big spot this current TI, Chinese teams will probably dominate the brackets and Europe is the only one that will have the ability to fight with them.
