Its more so about banks using enterprise based on and built on the ethereum blockchain. You attack Ether in a very linear way, there are better points of failure besides "banks won't buy scam token." Eventually enterprise will leak its way into the corporate structure allowing financial institutions access to more optimizations if they can even survive. I think its more so about the network building niche enterprise that will bleed the larger financial institutions. And those private blockchains are a dead end, but more than likely just a department trying to get a decent bonus check for some interesting stuff.

Well I have my ear to the ground in the financial districts of London and rumour has it that the large banks are investing greatly into the Ethereum blockchain and have instructed their futures departments to bulk buy ETH and DAO. Hence the price growths we are currently witnessing.

That is like asking if there is good news coming for a Pyramid Scheme.
