You have to be very clever to do the ETC trading. You have to sell before the Ethereum Foundation sells its ETC.

You could be correct that there may be some additional attempts at dumping ETC - which would likely cause additional ETC buying opportunities - a catch 22, whether to sell some ETC now, or just buy more ETC after or during the dump (whenever and/or if that proposed dump is going to take place).

i only do some etc/btc trades, i see no future in ethereum and i think it is not safe to invest into it because the eth price is going to crash soon

only an idiot will dump that much coin in one place.
so be sure that the hacker has been selling his coins for a while and right now the whales are dumping ETC and pumping ETH.
this is just a cycle these two chains will have for the foreseeable future and I am afraid this is the end of project ethereum for all we know.

I think the DAO hacker has already shorted the ETC. He can borrow to sell now and give back the ETC he will have access by the end of the month.

for me short term investment in ethereum sounds really cool too though im planning to hold for at least a year my etc as i think it will take that much time to replace the eth

ETC is way less risky, because at least you have the certainty that it will not suffer from absolute debacles like a rushed hard fork over faulty smart contracts (this WILL happen again and it will put ETH into the spotlight again and everyone will expect them to hard fork, which will kill the market, once again).

With ETC you know this will not happen. Now we only need Charles and the rest to start a solid team of professional coders to start doing all the hard work.

You should buy more ETC if you think that way and if you are a strong support of Ethereum. The EthDev is going to let you have the ETC.
