You guys are delusional, even if ethereum's dev's team deliver half they promise, eth will surpass bitcoin.
Ether could be superior in many ways , but if Bitcoin has only 21 million coins and ether has unlimited then I can't see ethers coins being worth more.

If ether ends up with 1 billion coins and BTC still only has 21 million then.....it's hard to see ethers "coins" worth anywhere near a bitcoin.

Or am I missing something?

you're not missing anything. supply side of ETH is massive. the mistake some people are making is that they look at the ETH price and compare it to BTC without considering supply side ratios, and they think ETH is "cheap". at $14 ether when adjusted to BTC at +5x supply is over $75.

Ether is not unlimited, smart guy,as i know, and i might be wrong, they ll switch to POS early next year so there will be around 100mil coins. But eth doesnt have to be 400$ to be as valuable as currently BTC is,because market capital can be the same with a much lower value for eth because of the higher amount of coins/tokens.
@Sukovsky ,thats the thing, ether can be dumped, bitcoin can be dumped, ltc can be dumped, but do you know the difference between them ?Their value is made of pure speculation,if people decide tomorrow they worth nothing, that will be the case.Ethereum is trying to be more than store of value/payment/currency,because if that is the case, nothing backs their value so whatever people think they worth and are willing to buy for, then that it is.All speculation.Eth will be backed up by smart contracts/dapps and so on.Assuming they ll succeed, but nothing so far that happened made me believe they wont. For me,eth value at this moment means nothing,im trying to do some speculation on my own to make some extra profit but thats it,ETH wont die if whales decide to dump until eth is goin back to 1$.In fact that would be good for everyone thats trying to invest in a blockchain/token thats not made of pure speculation but facts.

I really dont care about that topic, just because 2-3 guys debate on what ethereum can or cannot do,FUDing and debating about something ethereum hasn't even done/released.You cannot decide something doesnt work if you havent seen their response and the approace they might take to solve future problems. If it is so FLAWED then you and others that "deep understand" blockchain technology, especially ethereum's,but waste your precious time FUDing this forum all day instead of developing something great, then go spam's ethereum team/vitalik blog//twitter//fb with questions and expose their "insolvable" problems to make them look like fools. But even then it probably wouldnt work because, still, youre talking about something they havent done/developed yet and even they probably dont know which aproach they ll need to take to make things work as planned.
Im not saying eth will succeed, but if you guys are so determined to protect the innocent and be a superhero, then there are alot more flawed blockchains/coins ,with btc leading the cavalry of flawed shitcoins.

Well, we can actually say that. Because we have had a plethora of new paradigms before Ethereum that all crashed and burned, and rightfully so. As far as any rational being can see, this is a bubble. Of course its bigger than the last new paradigm, otherwise people wouldn't fall for it anymore.
Ethereum is going to end up like all the heaps of shit that came before it. It will.

You guys are delusional, even if ethereum's dev's team deliver half they promise, eth will surpass bitcoin. Why?Well, even if bitcoin is considered a "store of value" its value is made of what people  believe it worths, because it is backed by nothing.Ethereum, even tho doesnt aim to be a store of value or payment system,it will be much better at both because it will be backed by its usage/smart contracts/dapps etc.

And those are being used by who to solve what real world problems at what expense?

Another newbie account eth scammer.  Everyone pumping this shitcoin on both here and Bologniex is a new account nobody has ever heard of.  Eth can't function in the role it claims:

Only that after a dump the price rises again so a higher price range. This dump is good for smart investors though as it is a chance to buy low sell high.

Only someone mentally challenged could post a clip of an aircraft crashing, one in which most likely many people died, as some sort of sick entertainment.

The longer version with the Jet floating in the air is better..
You can see it struggling to get up prob from a failed take off
then how it sort floats around like a leaf falling then.. what you see here.. BOOM !

And you just upset because your a hiding pussy coward.
AND..
Do not possess the ability say anything even remotely vaguely ON-Topic.
so you have absolutely no other choice but to sit here and insult people based on their opinions of a coin
which only a "mentally challenged" person would think is effective at neutralizing evil FUD. (anything not hype / advertising)

I already mentioned you the other day in a topic about creating rules for Noob accounts in Meta.
The flood of them that are clearly veteran users here used to Troll & attack for ETH has been an epidemic lately.
I have reported you also for Trolling.
So you may want to get ready to go back to your main account scammy ETH coward.

Who is this guy ?
Look at his post history then look at who has vanished lately.. the candidate list gets real small
LOL

I love how these cocky little spamming / Trolling assholes think they are smart  Cheesy

Um, I do not like the coin, but is it really fair to say it is getting dumped hard when it is still worth 50% more than it was a week ago and twice what it was worth two weeks ago?

If this plummet drops below the price it was at two weeks ago and continues to fall, then I would think it is fair to say it is being dumped hard.

This could just be a bubble adjustment in a still upward trend.

That being said, I don't think the coin has any long term promise - either as a currency or as a platform for really slow applications.

And rightfully so. It was bound to happen after such a monster pump, which I admit. Get out while you still get a monster profit for your altpump. After that it's bleeding out time. Paycoin time.

Finally! It's about time! Now time to see how high the bitcoin price will go this time.
I didn't axtually thought it will take this long until people starts dumping their eth.

They're not done yet of course. they're going to get every penny of those who bought a lot of ETH. More articles and press releases are to be made giving hope that it will replace bitcoin. Too much of that hope they brag about Microsoft being their buddy when the reality is that Microsoft is losing the competition they're into.
