No, I think Eth is going to go in quite the opposite direction. I just saw a countdown thread for the bitcoin halving, so I think that's going to be bringing in a lot of buyers to the market and if and when that happens it should lift bitcoin's price *and* ethereum's as well. That rising tide will lift a bunch of boats, as they say and since Eth is #2 to bitcoin's #1, there's no doubt in my mind that it'll be one of those boats.
And Eth should be going proof of stake next month if I've read it correctly. That's a huge thing, and I don't think the result would be a 50% drop, do you? That would be crazy (and a great buy signal as well).

I think BNB did far better than ethereum this year because it crossed its all time high up to 25usd although the glory was short lived for its investors. With that being said, 2020 will be a huge year for eth because of it innovations and upgrades on the chain. We have already seen two forks already. Hopefully by next year, the effects will reflect on the eth prices

It is unlikely that ETH will fall so much, now its price is $130 and the market looks positive, I think even before the New Year the price will not fall so much.
If ETH goes to $70 without any fundamental reason like failed transition to Proof-of-stakev - just market things, that spells disaster for all coins because the bear market will extend to the whole of 2020.

I sure hope it is going under 100 because i was about to get a lot more of it after Christmas. There's a lot of fud because of some statements and because people don't even seem to know what they are doing. I am long time frame bullish for it though.
i was waiting for this time mind if you tell us when this coming?i have good counts of ethereum but i am willing to buy another volume if given a chance and thinking that its $70?wow that is what i am waiting for.

As if i would know, no one does. Only thing we can trust are the fundamentals, and i am not even sue that any ethereum roadmap dates will hold as they should do every change to code very carefully and not rush anything.
I don't think ETH will go that low. I know prices have fallen a lot, but $70 would be an almost 50% drop on top of what we've already had. I don't think it will happen, but of course this could just be wishful thinking as I do hold some ETH. But surely... with the move to 2.0 around the corner, and the project still very strong... surely this means we won't see that sort of drop.
Too much dip if the price would go $70 with what's ethereum have right now. Of course, everything in crypto market is not impossible everything will happen in no time. But $70 is just a speculation if we look at it right now since the market is not yet struggling to maintain its position.

oh man IMAGINE ETH going to 70$ again, talk about a reboot. that would be awesome imo
alot of people missed the original run-up with ETH, i had some when it was like 1$, but sold around 10$, lol
for it to hit 70 again i would buy as much as i could, then just wait. easy 1k per coin as soon as PoW stops imo
I think Ethereum will no longer go under 100$ and you should consider the current price a 2nd bottom of the markets and a good opportunity to make long-term investments or mid-term, depends on your strategy. Personally I'm happy with ethereum having its bottom at q1 when price was around 87$ as that was the key moment for investments and more happier now that I have a 2nd chance to enter under 150$.

I don't think so because ethereum so far has a good move at the market, and I think ethereum will get an increase in the next year because next year, ethereum will have an update that will be released. But if ethereum cannot increase after the release, then the price can get down for a moment, but I don't think that it will go down below than $100. where did that thought come from? do you equate what happened at the end of 2018 with the present? Well, there might be a lot of similarities, but at the end of 2018, there was quite a lot of bad news at that time which caused the entire price of cryto especially ethereum to decrease dramatically. for the time being, I don't see a large potential for ethereum to decline at that price. if the worst happens, the lowest price of ethereum is $ 90 and will not reach the level of $ 80, but I also doubt that. ethereum prices will stabilize above $ 100 at the end of this year, I believe in that. 2018 - 2019 its similar periods for ETH. maybe the lowest ETH price is at 98$ only but it won't take long and will go back up again. next year I am sure there will be many changes, at least there must be an increase in the crypto market conditions, the condition of the last 2 years is already too saturated.
what i think about ETH is this 120$ level is the lowest and we will seeing pump soon ,either before halving or after but one thing i am certain that eth will climbs up again.
There is nothing wrong in having a huge expectation, i understand the hype is because there is a major upgrade coming up in ETH but the problem is that whether the upgrade will change anything in the economic stand point is a big question, there are doubts whether they will be implementing all the upgrades as planned or they will be delaying it, so there is a lot of uncertainty in that aspect too, so the possibility of the market to go down is realistic.

The year 2017 and 2018 are totally not a similar period because 2018 was the season of crypto market corrections while 2018 was the season of the bitcoin block halving expectation and market manipulation. To be honest, I don't see ETH doing that well lately. It had a big rally but that only acts as more resistance. Lately, when BTC price goes down a little, ETH traders seem to be much more bearish, exaggerating all negative moves with a greater margin. To me, this is a very bad sign. Maybe not 70$ in the immediate future, but we could see much lower prices than the ones in current levels not long from now.
The main use for ETH was the ability to build tokens on top of the chain, and then do ICOs for them. And in order to take part in the ICOs, you needed to buy ETH.
Now that regulators have stomped on ICOs, there is no reason to buy ETH anymore, and the overcomplexity of it makes it unattractive for ecommerce (better to use LTC or Doge if you simply want to buy stuff or bet in an online gambling site).
Basically ETH has lost it's main USP.

Why are you seem so sure about your prediction? at least please provide us your TA otherwise it is like spreading FUD. I do not think ETH can go to that low with their upcoming upgrade unless BTC price go worse. If ETH go to that price, I wont hesitate to go ALL IN
