Definitely, ETH because Ethereum is a very good coin and most of the new coins which are launching almost all of them are using the blockchain of Ethereum and because of that the value of Ethereum keeps on increasing so its best to choose Ethereum out of these.
Brand new to the cryptocurrency market. Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC. It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it. I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019. It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin. I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future. Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product. Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere. My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years? I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside. Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC? What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?
I have nothing against BTC. I don't see it going anywhere. It is the giant. However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Both of these coins are perfect coin in my opinion because the main thing that we can see in both of these coins are technology that they are using and also there is another factor that is high potential and high support of the buyers in these two coins .I have nothing against BTC. If you will forcely say to choose either of them then my main move will be towards the etherium and after that I would like to suggest litecoin because litecoin is that coin which have the same technology that bitcoin have and also it is old coin , so we can expect that with both of these coins we can make better profit by hold long term .
But features of the etherium coin are more than litecoin , so better for the etherium and after that litecoin .
ETH is mainly used as a transaction's fee's (gas) for erc20 tokens and for creating new ICO. LTC is mainly used for money trsnsfers. In this year eth will have serious competitors like neo, eos, nem and ada. Ltc have only omg ccompetitor but we don't now when omisego will work perfect, maybe in this year, maybe no. So, ltc is you choice
I believe that investing in the ethereum is the best thing you can think of at the moment, because it has huge potential and now you can buy it at a best price

Yes, I also think so, it is most powerful in the market. People using ETH after bitcoin. I know ETH trade also profitable.I am also a ETH traders. I like both Short and long term. LTC also good. Because it is almost good altcoin.

I am more interested in eth, I think the future of eth exceeds from other altcoin. smart contracts and advanced technology are very influential in the future. therefore I am sure eth will continue to be pumped in next year.
One of the investor strategies in the digital money market is the long term. eth is bigger than the market and has a lot of great power. but for long term investment I think that the price of LTC is much more affordable and can be increased quickly.
It is preferable to hold the etherium, because many other coins have been developed on its platform, it is more technological and the team is constantly improving it.
I would buy both coins. I would divide the investments - 70% (ETH) and 30% (LTC).
ETH is the right choice for long term compared to LTC.
I think in eth or ltc we can take lot of grwth form them if we hold them long its all depends on market condtions but keep on eye for mare profit
ETH and EOSIO for long term is very nice option for now , but need wait a bit to get good price to entering this market .
I guess both eth and ltc have a better future in kong term. It is the matter of timing in withdrawing I think. Just always do research and read news for you to know when to withdraw.

LTC is more a test field for Bitcoin and it will become obsolete with Lightning getting more and more adoption.

But, if I were to choose only one, I would choose ETH because it's more popular and has a lot of tokens that are operating successfully now.
I am for eth because eth for me on my speculation is a bitcoin sisters company. Bitcoin has undergone the same with eth now. The price is cheaper and relatively it increases drastically. If ever bitcoin will fall and i guess more of it will go to ether and that will make a difference on earning on it. If you are able to invest in ether now with a smaller or cheaper amount then that could be good. Just hold it for a time will come that ether price now will be doubled or even folded many times as what bitoin did. So my hopes of becoming bitcoin is for ether and if i will have some money i will going to invest in ether at least 1 ether that will do for me since i could not afford also to invest higher amount of it.
Both are best coins and profitable but Ether have more volatility and more popular coin after BTC.Team behind Ether is competitive which engage to more development in it.

I do not understand why you choose between litecoin and Ethereum and forgot about bitcoin. It is better to buy bitcoin and Ethereum together.
