It will need more time to see Ethereum reach $1000 because of the situation of the current market.
If bitcoin can go a bit stable this month, I think Altcoins especially Ethereum can growth easily.

A lot of people telling that ethereum will be over $1000 at the end of the year. And 'm the one who hopess so. But common we all now, it is very difficult to predict anything on crypto market. It depends a lot on mass media

The price of the ethereum are affected right now it's because the price of the bitcoin also decreasing and I hope it will become high again the rice of the bitcoin so that's the price of the ethereum increase too.

Price is $600 and that is high until now and I hope we see again $1000 each ethereum.

This is a really good piece of information because ETH and bitcoin have been throwing it away for several months. And also I hope the upcoming months of bitcoin and ETH will rise again so I can see how people will enjoy this year's richness and hopefully the price of both prices can rise gradually.

I was very surprised that ethereum even made it near its all time high during the recent downtrend in the market. Goes to show how strong of a coin it is.

Smart contracts are valuable yes, but not until the true potential of utility tokens are used. Up until now, it is sad to see smart contracts only used to lock and disburse tokens for trading, only for games for people to collect and speculate on special collectibles. So few people are using the true functionality of all the ICO projects supposed to use smart contracts. And if they did, they have to compete with online games eating up all the network bandwidth. ETH will hit old ATH, but it will need a lot of time to recover.

Ethereum's bitcoin based record price was about 0.15 BTC and this happened on january 2018 if I'm not wrong. The next step will be 0.2BTC for ethereum in the upcoming times. Recovery is not slow because the general trend in the market is negative.
