Want to get into ether but is it easy to get into as bitcoin?  Huh
I will think it is the right time to get into since bitcoin price is on the increase.

At the moment, there is not much difference between the price of bitcoin and Ethereum. They increase in similar rate.

Well bring it on, you know I'm holding strong from months ago so anything above $20 is great news.

Well, you got your great news thanks to Bitcoin. ~$20.50 as I write.

I'm done with ethereum,  i still mine it but  it's at a good price to sell it as soon as i hit a block.  I know a lot of people have gone all in on eth but I'm just not that confident in it.

This is the first time I really think that ETH is overvalued. $18 per ETH right now doesn't make sense ($700 BTC doesn't make sense either). It should be very interesting to see what happens after the halvening. I think BTC will definitely correct to $500-600 if not more (considering it will rise more in the next days, it can hit $800-900 but I don't think we'll see 1k).

After that I think will find refuge in ETH and we can even see it at $25-30. However it won't be by own merit really since not a lot of dapps or development have taken place in this period...

Do you think if it $1k it will be questioned? Like the government and other parties who dont want something as high as that? Just thinking though and if it is the case then ETH will be safer for a lower value.

We'll when Bitcoin was above $1000 in 2013 there was a lot of pressure from certain government sectors but it was a different era with Silk Road making a lot of noise. I wasn't involved with BTC at the time but that's what I've read.

At present, most of the usage of bitcoin is in the good trading, so there will be less pressure from authority.

I use the bitcoin quite a lot to buy good goods, which can be paid the credit cards as well. I am helping the community.

Damn, am I more bullish than you? I don't think you should underestimate the market forces at work here. Development and merit count not to the teeming multitudes: only price, only momentum, only volume and right now crypto has all three.

Well bring it on, you know I'm holding strong from months ago so anything above $20 is great news. I think ETH is just riding the BTC wave here so I agree with you, at least until the halvening.

You really can't have BTC at $700-800 and ETH at $12-13, so it moves up proportionally since they are the strongest cryptos around. So go ahead and open a long position, I'll open a beer...haha!

Both the bitcoin and Ethereum price will rise in the future if both are properly developed. The price of Ethereum could be 0.01 to 0.1 btc.

This is getting interesting. If it can push past 0.0258, we might have another bull run on our hands.

It pushed through 0.0258 and rose to 0.027. But it has come down again. It is just trading within a range.

I do not worry too much about the Ethereum price. It will survive for some time as it is still under good developments.

So far, the performance of the Ethereum is very good. But we need more applications for the Ethereum for its price to rise again.

I think what we are seeing now is that Ethereum is a hedge for people with large Bitcoin positions. People are nervous about fiat in general (particularly in China), and can now hold multiple crypto positions with more confidence than they have in the past. This is pretty amazing for crypto in general as fiat hedging was really the only viable option available in the past.

Obviously the recent Ethereum run is all because of Bitcoin and the macro economic situation that is making people worry about their fiat holdings. I'd say that we are far beyond what the fundamentals would dictate for Ethereum, but I still think the downside is fairly limited due to the macro-economics that seem to dictate a global economic slowdown is coming along with a lot of worry about the Chinese currency and possible Brexit scenarios.

I hold both Ethereum and the bitcoin. I trade both. When the price of bitcoin is too high, I buy the Ethereum with bitcoin.

Doing a mini-pump on ETH as it just surpassed ATH in dollar terms. Will be interesting to see where this one goes. ETH/USD is undeniably bullish, but ETH/BTC looks weak.

That is because the bitcoin price is rising too fast. Maybe it is good idea to buy Ethereum with bitcoin and sell later.

Both the bitcon and the Ethereum is rising fast. But with differerent speed. So it might be a good idea to trade both.

At the moment, the Ethereum is rising faster than the bitcoin. It is quite difficult to choose which one.

Well if you ask me, I would still stick with BTC. BTC is showing some really good performance. And it's getting more and more stable now.
