Last year was very disappointing for Ethereum, it is a very good project and its worth should have been much higher than its present value. Many people think that after the hardfork its value will skyrocket again, but it is difficult to tell if it will get to $1000.

I think ETH will pass $1,000 again at some point, but not soon, and certainly not as a result of the fork. The fork is good news and an important step on the development road, but it is not the end state.
ETH is still tied tightly to the rest of crypto, I don't think it will pass $1,000 again until BTC is over $10,000. As for 1 ETH = 1 BTC or 0.5 BTC in price, I don't think that's likely for the foreseeable future.
This is unlikely to happen in a short time, if the price of an ETH is $ 1,000, which is nearly 7 times the current ETH price. Surely ETH needs more effort to achieve a price of $ 1,000.

It is hard to say ethereum will increase until $1000 because it means, the price will increase 10x than the price now, and it won't happen if there is no good news from the ethereum project. I think to increase more than $400, it will difficult for ethereum, and it will need more time to see that price, but still, it could happen for the long-term. I am not sure what will happen after the hardfork or before the hardfork because it's no guaranteed to see the price increase later.

I think that won't happen, it's too high. just because "hard fork" can reach $1000? very impossible. although eth is the best altcoin, it must take time to reach $1000. not in this short time.

This is unlikely to happen. If I didn't guess wrong, this year's Bitcoin ETF is more like an important opportunity than the Ethereum's Frok. Only when the price of Bitcoin rises can the price of Ethereum rise, this is the rule in crypto market. I don't think Ethereum can rise to $1,000 alone when bitcoin prices are staying.

If ETH can return to more than $1,000, this means that another new bull market has arrived, but this seems unlikely to happen this year. We all know that the price of Ethereum or other altcoins always follows the price of Bitcoin, so as long as Bitcoin does not rise, then all altcoins cannot have a real big increase.
It is hard for ETH to go back to over 1000$ as long as Btc will not getting close to 20k.

If we look back for the past 90-days of ETH price, it has not returned or even reached its previous price as far as 90-days.
90 days ago, price was $228 USD. 5 days from today 1st hard fork for 2019 will happen for Ethereum Classic Vision. Next hard fork will be Ethereum Nowa which will happen a day after hard for Ethereum Classic Vision and then comes Ethereum Constantinople which will happen between January 14-18 this year. At current price of $157, I don't think it wont even reach a quarter of that $1,000 USD.

Ethereum price has increased from $87 to $155, making it one of the best performing crypto assets throughout the past two months, analysts have attributed the positive price movement of Ethereum to its upcoming Constantinople hard fork, hope the result of ethereum hard fork is positive and it's bring the market back to normal. Anyway, ETH price back to $1K is possible, but not now and it's won't happen in near 3 month.
It can easily rise back to over 1000$ but not just this time ,market correction is in place and bitcoin is tstill trying to recover I'm looking at 8000$ bitcoin price and we will see ETH surge in price and I'm sure the fork upgrade will have a positive impact
isn't that too much value high at this time. hardfork be predicted will give good results but if possible to $1000 or it costs half of the bitcoin it will be quite impossible to prove. might expect great indeed good but don't get too high and more focused on what will happen to hardfork later.

I will be happy if it happens but most likely not in the near time as there's no bullish sign for bitcoin. If bitcoin stays at the current price, i think eth will only rise near $200 and will probably declined again after the fork.
