I do not think it will be $ 5000, because in the past year alone it only reached $ 2500 only. I think the price of ethereum will only reach $ 3500 only, it is difficult to reach $ 5000. but ethereum does have a good potential. besides being used by most ICO, transactions using ethereum are also fast.

There are tokens being developed on Ethereum with real world use case and once these tokens start getting traction Ethereum is the one who is going to benefit from it as Ether would be needed to transact on the chain. So yeah with this in mind there isn't anything wrong in saying that $5k is within range.

I will not refuse if eth grows as you say.
but its not my disagreement, to go for $ 5000 it is very difficult and almost impossible for this year. because after all, bitcoin is still the most popular coin compared to eth.

I quite agree with your opinion that Ethereum has the potential for something very great. But this year I think the maximum price will be around $ 4000 and then in 2019 it will be not a problem transferring $ 5,000 level.

It hardly to present that Ethereum can rise to such price in this year, considering the behaviour of the crypto market today. If the whole capitalisation of crypto will be 2 trillion and higher than it can be so.

it is somehow impossible to reach that value for ETH as of now the value is 710 dollar and there is nothing big that is happening to move the value upward so as of now the price will be circulating on that price and it is unclear to reach 5k dollar value for ETH.

I have the same thinking however till 5000 USD is not so possible to me, maybe ard 3-4000 USD although many ICO are using ETH as a medium but recently the market in dropping and dropping so will not know when will it start to rise and go to the 5000USD mark

Buying ETH=price increase. Selling ETH=price decrease. With so many projects and ICO's using ETH, I see a price increase. Timing a market can be tricky. It is better to dollar cost average your purchases to spread the risk.

Actually ETH to $5000 for 2018 is too small compare to its travel path from $10usd to $1000 last year. I bet ETH might hit $10k this year. And bitcoin will hit $100 this year. Its very possible for the top 1 and 2 crypto currency to achieve this goal.
