If eth rises to $5,000, then BTC is estimated to be $200,000, and I would rather have BTC than eth. Think eth is supported by ico, but BTC can be long term.

Maybe it is possible if Casper will get implemented this year. It will boost the price of bitoin because many will buy and hoard their coin to stake it. Yes that's is possible especially those good ICOs are partnered with ETH. Well even if Ethereum will not hit $5000 but it will on coming years ofcourse not only $5000 maybe more like $10000 because they are really believe on ETH because of their amazing technology.

Some of the countries are using it as mode of payment, specially Germany, so its growth rate may rise in future. It will reach $ 5000 definitely.
I'm a little bit confident in what you say but the problem is to reach that value how many months do I have to wait to invest in that altcoin, or can I say I'm holding it up?
I've noticed over the last week that ethereum is going down while btc is going up. Normally it was going up when btc was, even during the crash they would rise or dip together. That being said, I feel like it will go up, but I'm not sure it will hit 5k. If eth had gains like it did in 2017 when it went from $10 to $1000, then we would see it at $100,000. That would be pretty awesome.

i dont think etherium will be 5000 this year, i think around 2k is possible more- dont think so. I hope we will see 2000 and not 200 
There is time, this year only begas 2 months ago. It takes time for such things to be achieved. For high returns you must give time to your investments.
Etherium is a very stable coin but I'm not sure that it will reach $ 5000 by the end of this year. There are a lot of other altcoins.

I'd love eth to be at 5k this year... altho i believe it only will happend if btc goes rocket high... I believe eth as more potential that btc but it isnt as widely known and popular (for now at least), specially for noobs.
