If the market is red or green is not matter for the potential coin.Because at any moment the price of potential coin will get into the peak. ETH is the potential coin in the market. So hold your coin and wait till the peak .ETH is better to hold at all the time,you should a patience for it.Panic selling won't work in Crypto trading.

I guess ETH is the most trusted Altcoin that exist right now. So there is no need to be afraid of early crash or something if you are going to HODL for a long term. Even if it will crash I am confident that it will recover not just like those sh*tcoins after a crash only dust are left and some do exit scam. Market now is really dependent on Bitcoin movements so if we have a bullrun for sure it will reach new ATH again.

I keep holding for now, it's the best choice for me unless I really need emergency money so I will take it off. Ethereum is indeed down but the last few months still show progress although not much. Ethereum 2.0 may be a good surprise

If my memory is not cheat with me i am strongly has remind that in 2017 eth was in 250+ ,However the up trend was started and made it to 1300+ .So you may sure that it has great platform and has bright future as well .Don't afraid to hold .

all the choices are yours, but for ETH I myself do not feel worried about holding it because ETH is the most popular altcoin and also the most contract-bound with various platforms.

While ETH is the best altcoin yet if we are longing for short term investment then maybe we are not satisfy
with this performance not unless we are willing to Hold the currency for long term like how we handle Bitcoin.

You don't need to worry about holding Ethereum, Ethereum is worth holding, short-term might not be suitable for ETH,

ICOs are only a small part of the value of ETH growth. Its value has increased significantly recently due to the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 upgrade.If the economy stabilizes, I think ETH can break the old peak once. again. In the crypto market, nothing is impossible just because the whales don't want it to happen. So holding ETH at $ 234 is too good, just need your patience and long hold will have very good results.

better to hold your ethereum now and waiting for eth 2.0
because eth 2.0 will bring more demands on eth, and i believe this will push the price of ethereum grow my friend

Everyone thought that when this news came out, ETH would increase but I'm sure this will happen differently than what people are anticipating. For me, this is just normal news and will not help the coin improve in price so it is best not to be too dependent on this news. I only invest in Ethereum because of the benefits it can bring to this market because if ETH is used more widely, the price increase will only be a matter of time.

It will depend on you and how you speculated for ETH price to move. Will have different outlooks and insights crypto in the future but for me, I start to accumulate more this time and hold because I saw a growing market demand that pushes ETH to grow, not to decline the same as you think OP. I understand that many are getting shit and bore of a long-term holding, this is might be the reason why they never consider ETH but rather to choose others.

But if you are a trader, it is not a good idea to hold because it won't make help you to gain more profit. This only for those who are willing to sacrifice their time and patiently waiting for years to come and then sell.

in the past, when the glory of ico show up
a lot of project born in ethereum network and maybe thats one from many reason why the price of ethereum growing
but, personally i believe with or without ICO, ethereum will always become a good investment for long term my friend

It is not an exaggeration to say that, it doesn't matter ICO is dead as you above said ETH is absolutely worth investing in. However, if you are short-term investors, ETH can be the wrong choice for you. That is why ETH is definitely great for long-term investing. Including me, every ETH lover is just waiting for ETH2.0 update, but it seems it will take a bit more time to see new the update.

Defi projects do not affect on the price of Ethereum. I believe they are on their own. Ethereum is no longer interesting to people. maybe I'm wrong, but I see that investors are interested in other coins and other blockchains

in terms of price, Ethereum is still not able to develop properly, even though many Defi projects are on their platform, but in the future it might be indirectly affected by the price, this is just my assumption
