These are really very cool projects, but I think that the EOS project today still does not have serious opportunities, because today EOS is still a developing platform but very promising, and ETH is an already developed platform.
EOS for the win, I dont see any progress from Ethereum. EOS is much faster, EOS transactions are free, they support migrating smart-contracts from another blockchains. EOS is creating very nice ecosystem, so for me EOS is much better.
Yes . I see ETH and EOS as two promising altcoins in the future. Personally, they both care. However Ethereum promises more and has been proven in other cryptographic markets. Ethereum attracted many investors. has advanced technology background. Prices are dropping sharply the opportunity to buy and hold it in the long run

I do not want to compare Eos with Etherium. Because both Etherium and Eos are very good and popular projects. I think Eos has the power to overtake Etherium and to come to second place in the market. But for that we may have to wait a long time. hero member

Hello guys. On the previous week Vitaly founder of ethereum announced ethereum 2.0 with faster transactions and so on. Do you think our old friend ethereum can defeat a very promising EOS? Or EOS is soon going to be crypto number 2 instead of ethereum?
I don't want to compare between ethereum and eos because it's different coins and it's a different function. But if we talk about the price, so far, ethereum more expensive than eos, but we don't know what will happen in the future. So I think as long as we can make a profit from both ethereum and eos, we don't have to compare those coins, and we can enjoy making a profit from ethereum and eos. It is difficult to comparing two or more coins on this day because everything can happen in the future.
As for this days i cannot say who will win they have both came from the failure and comeback with success,who ever win lets find out soon.
It's too early to decide. Ethereum is a proven coin. Eos seem to make more young and serious leaps. Let's see what happens in the future. There's more ways Eos has to go. Now it doesn't feel right to compare.
I think EOS has more chances for growth because there aren't that much ICOs on eos platform and in future demand can increase in a significant way.

Ethereum is already established and has a name, this is a challenge for EOS in grabbing the attention of investors or the community. If Eth still survives it means that eth is still appropriate and has a quality future.
For me, it's a mismatch because Ethereum as we know it is already established compare to EOS and by just looking its market cap, they have a big difference. In addition, ethereum's smart contract blockchain is already known and mostly used by most of the listed cryptos in the market and ICOs today.
don't know why people are so eager to find a replacement for ETH... it is of course anger against the price as most people bought ETH higher than 300usd and we are all loosing right now 
please check how much was 1ETH in Dec2016 - around 8USD... do you think you will ever get to that price again?
I am not a tech person, but I think ETH is by far the best "non-transactions aimed" crypto that is out there... for example the ETH protocols are being tested by NASA for space navigation, through the ICOs you can find many projects that are aimed to improve our daily lifes using blockchain...
I'm not fundamentalist, so ETH needs to evolve same as the others, we can't face this as a static game...

I do not believe that Etherium so early will give way to his place. This is the most popular altcoin, and the most expensive at the moment. Eth have a great team of developers that will cope with any difficulties. EOS will not be able to cope with the pressure if all new projects will be created on the blockchain. Too early to compare these projects.
I agree with that opinion. Ethereum is now the most important coin after Bitcoin, while EOS is just a replica. If you look at their team, there's a big difference.
Ethereum has no rival in Altcoins. Maybe you can rival the NEO in the future.

I think that EOS is able to pass ETH, with many projects using the EOS platform so there is no doubt that the future is held by EOS, as far as I know, many game projects prefer to use the EOS platform, this is the first step for EOS to get investors' attention.
I just don't have a really trust to Ethereum now. I would prefer to invest in EOS and work with it, because it hase more perspective.
At the moment, Ethereum wins, because it is on the third place in our ranking on CMC. EOS is also a great coin, but it needs more marketing solutions to become more famous. The more people know and hold EOS, the more the outcome is.
It's hard to say that I personally support Ethereum and think that EOS is not much better than Ethereum. But we need to know that EOS is a Chinese product, and their investors are enough to make EOS go beyond Ethereum, but this may not be possible.

So, I just think that Ethereum good for short term holding. Just for a few months. It would to go higher in next year. Well Eos would be good for long term holding, because of price.
